The Boxing Rink™ is a multifaceted, elite training facility for everyone from the serious athlete looking to increase their game, to the mom looking to get in shape and reduce stress, to the kid looking to be the next Sugar Ray Leonard.
We believe in quality not quantity. Never will there be more than 20 people in a class. Never will you feel overwhelmed by equipment you don't know how to use, or by blaring music you can't hear the instructor over. We believe it's more important to be able to focus on our clients form and function than it is to fill a room to capacity.
We are NOT a membership gym (with the exception of the Open Boxing Program). All classes are pre-registered. Please CALL to make an appointment or sign up for classes on line on our website.
We specialize in training athletes, offering full team training, with hockey in particular. The floor of our boxing ring is synthetic ice so players can train on their skates, applying their skills to the game. We train for conditioning for all types of sports. Call Mike to discuss our variety of programs.

Meet the Business Owner: Michael Martelli M.
Mike started boxing at the age of 12 at local boxing gyms in South Eastern Michigan. He soon caught the attention of veteran trainers who took Mike under their wing and were grooming him to become a champion. A natural at the sport, he won the Silver Gloves State Championship at 14 years old. An invitation to try out for the 1984 Olympics soon followed. An unfortunate accident, resulting in a shattered wrist, suddenly ended this dream. Mike hung up the gloves and went on to finish his education, and pursued his engineering career. In recent years he was feeling unfulfilled and unsure what to do about it. Mike decided to quit his job, and go back to what he truly loves. Boxing. In less than 2 short years, his client base has exploded - finding a niche market in training hockey players how to defend themselves, as well as developing the Martelli Boxing competitive team. He is truly an example of "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
