The building itself is large and houses a number of businesses, including this jewellery boutique. The shop is owned and operated by the jewellery designer. It's pretty sizeable and carries a great selection of silver and gold jewellery of all grades. The pieces feature all kinds of precious and semi precious stones. There are a number of catalogues for inspiration, and she can custom make just about anything you can imagine. While we were there, she gave us a proper quote for some potential wedding bands. She priced them at several types of gold (rose, yellow, white, 18K and 14K of each.) She let us know what an approximate time would be for turnaround if we decided to place the order. She was extremely professional and friendly. While we ended up purchasing a name brand set of bands elsewhere, the experience was a valuable one and made our overall band shopping experience complete. I also decided to order a custom made silver pendant for my daughter. I chose the item from a catalogue and it was adapted to specification (i.e. for a bracelet or necklace as opposed to a pin/brooch.) I left my deposit and was given an approximate turnaround time (pending delivery.) When the item was ready, I received an e-mail and a call to let me know. I appreciated that I was able to communicate with them via e-mail. When I came in to pick up the item, it was nicely wrapped and packaged in a paper gift bag. I again appreciated that I didn't need to wrap it up myself. If I'm ever nearby again, I will definitely pop in to see what new designs they've come up with. It's a pleasure to browse and shop. Everything put out is trendy and tries to keep up with up-to-date fashions for the season. All the jewelry is bought wholesale and new, which is really nice, but still has the low prices. The shows also are placed on their own size racks so you don't have to spend time checking each ones size as they are all in one location. The staff is very friendly and not overbearing as well. All in all, this is probably my favourite consignment shop in Guelph.

The array of fiction was impressive and there was a good mix of contemporary fiction and classic literature. The woman behind the counter was delightful and we engaged in a thoughtful conversation that I greatly appreciated. I could tell that this store was a place that took pride in what it does and as a result is an integral part of the vibrant historic downtown Orangeville that has been able to have thrive, which is remarkable in an age where many old Downtowns have suffered at the hand of shopping malls and big box stores. I will go out of my way to come here again next time I am in Southern Ontario, and will stop to buy a few books to read in one of the delightful coffee shops nearby.
