A year ago, this was my absolute favourite vv - I've always found great finds here and even…read moreauthentic designer pieces from Prada/Burberry/Dior/Ferragamo! It's also very organized and clean, and I've always had very kind staff check me out every time. However... every time I've been in here recently, I've been extremely disappointed by the rise in prices. I know 'thrifting' has become a trend especially on social media, and VV seems to be riding the wave by doubling, even tripling their pricing! VV seems to be crazy inflated on tommy hilfiger, zara (nobody is paying $15+ for USED Zara btw) and brands they think are still popular. I saw a lululemon bra new with tags, and the sale tag said $34.99 and VV was selling it for $35.... also you can go to the shoe section and see ratty used ritz carlton slippers (that are free with a stay...) are selling for $10 - LOL For a place that receives all of their items FOR FREE, the prices do not make sense at all. Go to an independent thrift store or a smaller chain, and you'll find way better prices. With inflation in Ontario the way it is, people who actually depend on thrift stores to survive simply cannot afford to. When it is cheaper to shop at places like urban planet/shein, fast fashion will always prevail because why would someone choose to buy used clothing for MORE than a new piece (whether it be sustainable or not).. also for these prices, the free donated pieces will not end up selling and as more pieces come in, where do you think those overpriced pieces will go to? Exactly the place where we were trying to avoid by donating in the first place.

Time for a government in into all value village stores there is clearly something fishy going on…read more they collect donations with the pretender of charity but are clearly just soaking customers badly I have monitored them for a long time and there pricing practices are outrageous many many items priced higher than new and in NO way should they be considered Value they are anything but people have to stop donated to them give to Salvation Army or anywhere but them I still thing there is something very very wrong if not illegal with this organisation STOP THEM

My friend and I dropped off our shoes for store owner Vahid on a Wednesday. He had a customer at…read morethe time but was quick to assist us as soon as he was done. Our shoes include a range of men/women shoes: Gucci loafers, Ferragamo loafers, Hermès sandals, Louboutin loafers, YSL Chelsea boots, Alexander Wang ankle boots and some other pairs of shoes. Most shoes are damaged at the bottom where the wood panel, leather bottoms or heels are wore out. One pair is more severe as the leather is detached from the sole. Vahid has done a fantastic job to give new life to the pair by patching some leather and reattaching the leather to the soles without much trace at all. Vahid is professional as he not only quickly identified the problems with each pair, he is also helpful in advising us how the shoes can be repaired and offering options for us to choose. Some shoes require new fully protected bottoms whereas some can last with just protected heels. Vahid chooses the best color to match the original shoes' bottom so that the layer is unnoticeable from the side. Overall we are very happy with Vahid's professional work!

They said the glue of the sole to the boot was really old and has expired and needs to be re-glued. I told them that they were given to me by my late mom and I am from out of town and I had to get them fixed. Normally it would take them a few days, but they were so kind that they expedited the repair and I was able to pick them up within a few hours. I am so impressed with Professional Shoe Repair. They are quick, and did an impeccable repair job. I highly recommend!

I only shop online so this doesn't happen, but EVERYTIME I am in the mall and want to quickly…read morebrowse or try something on before going home and buying online... it's a bad experience. To be honest, I barely shop here anymore since most of their items are medicore quality at best and they end up at the thrift store for $5 after the season is over. I don't blame the employees at all, I know Aritzia has a terrible comission structure (even though now the employees don't even receive a commission, they just need to ensure a # of sales to get a yearly or quarterly bonus I believe ... cheap asses). Aritzia makes their staff hard sell to every single person that walks in here, because if they don't hit their numbers, they'll either be let go or put on probation. I am in here for less than 5 minutes and 3 girls beelined towards me to ask if I need help with anything, why I'm in here (ummmm...to shop?) and if I need help finding sizes. Mind you, every time I've asked if they had a certain size in stock, I'm always met with "whatever we have, it's on the floor" ... ok, so I can just as well find my own size. Also the shorts and leggings ALWAYS only have XXS and XS in stock at this location with maybe one large left - the XS is so tiny, when you hold it up, it looks like it's for a child (which it probably is). I can never find a medium or a small in stock - might as well shop online anyway. Last time I was here, I had a few clothing items I was evaluating getting and a sales associate ran up to me, told me she'd put my stuff at the front and told me her name before grabbing them out of my hands and rushing off... it happened to my sister too, which left her so flustered, she ended up letting the girl take her clothes to the front register and she just left the store. Do you also notice there are tiktoks where people make fun of aritzia, because every time you come out trying something on, the girls rush up and gush about how amazing it looks on you. Girl, I know you lyin'. Also - communal mirrors in a dressing room? Yikes... Also - FYI to everyone: Aritzia is majorly fast fashion. Just because the prices are high and aesthetic is different, it makes you think that it's not but the reality is that it's rated at a lower sustainability scale than h&m. You're paying 4x the price for an aliexpress dropshipped dress with a babaton label fyi. (Google Aritzia's sustability, or Aritzia fast fashion... I dare you)
