No wheelchair access, as it is a very old building, each room is a different section - toys room, clothes room, furniture room - it was a great idea. They've done the best with what they have. A portion of the proceeds also goes to charity from how we understand it at the time of this post, which is a bonus.

I had a few things to donate - which is around the LHS of the building - you'll need to back out as there wasn't much room to turn around. Seems they support both local and abroad causes, which is super. Staff seemed friendly, and are made up of a large portion of volunteers. I saw them online in a search and got there a little too close to closing as it was a bit of a hike. They let me take a quick 5 min to look around. Planning on going back.

VV seems to be crazy inflated on tommy hilfiger, zara (nobody is paying $15+ for USED Zara btw) and brands they think are still popular. I saw a lululemon bra new with tags, and the sale tag said $34.99 and VV was selling it for $35.... also you can go to the shoe section and see ratty used ritz carlton slippers (that are free with a stay...) are selling for $10 - LOL For a place that receives all of their items FOR FREE, the prices do not make sense at all. Go to an independent thrift store or a smaller chain, and you'll find way better prices. With inflation in Ontario the way it is, people who actually depend on thrift stores to survive simply cannot afford to. When it is cheaper to shop at places like urban planet/shein, fast fashion will always prevail because why would someone choose to buy used clothing for MORE than a new piece (whether it be sustainable or not).. also for these prices, the free donated pieces will not end up selling and as more pieces come in, where do you think those overpriced pieces will go to? Exactly the place where we were trying to avoid by donating in the first place.

In the aisles, the items were organized based on what they were while the at the ends of the aisles (the side near the clothing) were organized by colour. The prices seemed to be lower than the couple of thrift stores I have been to. They don't calculate taxes on what you are getting so if you spend $5, you will pay $5 which was a shock to me (in a good way). I will probably here many more time in the future. This plaza gets pretty busy and parking seemed to be packed but if you're looking for the Donation Centre, it is located on the right side, where there is additional parking. There is also a curbside area with signage directing you to pull up to for drop-offs, there's no need to park. At a glance, the Donation Centre looks to be very clean and organized. There is a large door open on the side of the building for donation drop-offs. We were told to leave our donations in the doorway, and the staff will later retrieve and sort through them. They operate with contactless donations - how convenient! Goodwill works with organizations that provide assistance to those with barriers seeking employment and upgrading their skills. What doesn't get sold in their stores, gets rotated to other locations, to Goodwill outlets, then sent to textile factories to be upcycled and repurposed. If you're looking to donate your items, please support non-profit places like Goodwill, rather than for-profit businesses in the area like Value Village and Talize.

If you are planning on donating items (accepted Monday-Saturday 9:30-4:30), park around back and there is a door there to drop off items (separate from the store entrance). Proceeds from sales support the work of the Mennonite Central Committee in Ontario, whose mission is to impact disadvantaged people through their work in relief, development, and peace, so you can feel good about donating stuff here!
