I appreciate that the young adult/teen section has been moved and expanded from where it previously was, and frankly seems to flow better into the adult fiction area. The beach/margaritaville theming isn't my cup of tea, but IS an easy visual way to see what genre of books is where. The associates at the counter were friendly and helpful in finding a book I was looking for in particular, but not overly pushy about following me all over the store while casually browsing. I have store credit for bringing some used books in previously, and I was glad to see that had rolled over with the new ownership.

The staff was really nice. We purchased some cute book related art that could easily be framed; they will be nice decoration for a home library or classroom. Since they were done by a local artist, I think the price was excellent for the quality of the product. It is on the smaller side, so it did get a little crowded.

If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt, you might really enjoy it here. Personally, I prefer more structure and hardcover selections, so it wasn't quite my style. I didn't find anything to take home, and there wasn't any staff interaction during my visit. Still, it's one of the few bookshops in the area, and I'm glad it's there for folks who love browsing for a surprise find.

They have new and used books for sale, as well as special copies, board games, puzzles, records, and DVDs. And they buy and sell all of it! The place is huge inside (much larger than it looks from the front), and if you sell things to them you can either get cash or store credit (you do get slightly more bang for your buck if you choose store credit). They do also have a large amount of theological texts. Anyhow, I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a local bookstore!

So happy to see that there is a larger space with coffee and tea now!! I want this to be my new hang out for sure! Music was a bit loud and overwhelming. Kind of bummed that there was not a large selection of the old fashioned type of books similar to Poe, Wilde, Shelley, etc. especially considering the time of year. Also there wasn't much of a section for sciences or new age type stuff. Also a bit bummed I couldn't use my donated accumulated rewards towards new book purchases. I only bought a single book instead of the originally planned two since I'm in a tight budget. Absolutely love the new space now and much easier parking. I look forward to hopefully events and meetups too if that's in the plans. We really need more events for bookish people who are coffee and tea lovers.

As someone, that occasionally does donate books, this is fantastic news! Additionally, all of their books unless otherwise stated are half off the cover value which is incredible and affordable! They definitely had something for everyone there. I look forward to visiting them again, hopefully with some books to give them!

You're not only decluttering your house, but you're helping out a small local business. With every book you bring in, you receive credit toward future purchases. I already have more credit than I'll probably ever use, but I'm happy that my previously read books are going to a good home. The store has a pretty decent used book selection with floor-to-ceiling shelving (and also some graphic novels, CDs, and DVDs). It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? They're half off the cover price. How does the credit work? You get an additional half off the half-off price. So if a book has a cover price of $8, the store sells the book for $4. I can use my credit balance for an additional $2 off (half of the $4), leaving the book at a total of $2. There are also some $1 books on a rack outside the store. Everyone working there is always super friendly and helpful.
