Came here for lunch because I had to work in the area for the whole day. I've been eyeing this place for a while since I like fusion food and trying out new places. I ordered the Butter Chicken Tacos and Masala Fries. If you don't like tacos, you can either make it a bowl, burrito, nachos, or poutine. The cost performance was solid. They were all reasonably priced and the tacos were bigger than I had pictured. The flavour was good with a good combination of toppings (lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro, purple cabbage, cheese, pineapple salsa, pickled onions, pickled cucumber, and pickled thai chili) to choose from. FYI, guacamole is an additional $1. And there write about 4 different sauces to choose from and combine. The naan was a bit burnt but using that as a tacos shell was a great idea. I just wish the flavour of the butter chicken sauce was a bit stronger since the toppings overwhelmed it a bit. But that's just a tiny thing, as the dish was still great. Masala fries was made of fries tossed in masala powder with sauce on top (mint chutney, pico de gallo, etc) and the price was pretty reasonable for what you get. Would I considering visiting again? Definitely. One suggestion to the restaurant is that since the space is quite small and you can only have a couple people inside, it may be beneficial for the customer and the store to have the menu posted for those waiting in line outside the restaurant. You can technically see the menu from the outside but the reflection on the glass and the dark lighting inside makes it hard to see the menu even when its cloudy outside. WOW... The food here is amazing! We ordered the tacos and the masala fries and we were shocked at how great the it all was; impressive flavour profile. We ordered both the butter chicken and lamb curry tacos. Added the following toppings... lettuce, pico de gallo, purple cabbage, pickled Thai chilies, T.B.T sauce, pickled onions. Also asked for mint chutney sauce and hot sauce on the side. I think I preferred the butter chicken over the lamb curry, but both were excellent. Absolutely loved the masala fries. Hands down one of the best tacos I've ever had. I know this is raising the bar pretty high but their food was just THAT good. Amazing portions and so tasty at such a reasonable price. I came here on a Saturday around dinner time. The place itself is small and wasn't too busy though as it is geared for takeout. I built my own butter chicken taco with lettuce, cheese, pico de Gallo, pickled onion, purple cabbage, and pickled cucumber. I asked the worker what sauce they'd recommend and went with a mix of mint chutney and TBT sauce. My bf got the curry chicken taco and butter chicken poutine. I'm so impressed with how well all the flavours mended together. The colours on the tacos are crazy with how much is going on but it's sooooo good. I don't have Indian food often because I'm not too great with spice but these tacos were the perfect amount of everything to get the perfect flavour combinations. I also really liked the added soft squishy texture of the naan bread that the tacos are served on. One order comes with 2 tacos... tacos were so stuffed I was full from one taco and had the other the next day (tasted just as heavenly second day). Indian food topped with pico de gallo, picked onions, cheese, hot sauce and tandoori sweet and sour sauce sounds like it shouldn't work but IT DOES!! I ordered through uber eats - I got the butter chicken taco which comes with 2 huge "tacos" and also got the masala fries which were incredible!! The fries were crispy, the toppings were fresh and the fusion of flavors were just out of this world I would highly recommend that you check this place out if you're in the area! I've tried this place twice and I am still surprised it's worked out. My first time ordering, I got tacos (shrimp). The food tasted fantastic. I was shocked, as I was uncertain how the idea could work, tacos and Indian food. But it was perfect. The second time I ordered a burrito, just to change it up and got the lamb. Also very delicious. I opted for the healthier option of salad with my bowl of chicken curry which I do think probably would have been better with rice. Great food, but service need a little work. Staff: The owner knows their stuff, but I think some of their helpers need more training. I had noticed that they had a stamp card program, and had asked for one during my order. They gave me a blank stamp card, which led me to then have to ask for my stamp. Then eventually I found out that I get two stamps (I had two orders), but they kindly fixed that. At the end of the day, I'm not one to get worked up about a stamp program, but it was an example of the service of some of their helpers. It was a Friday night and they seemed to have received quite a few online orders, so it caused a delay. Ambience: It's not a big place. Seemed that most were take out orders. Wish I could give a 0/5 for this location. They messed up my order completely through skip the dishes, and when I called to tell them they said "no we didn't, my staff said they didn't". I assured them they DID mess up my order, and I would drive back to get new tacos made. When I arrived, I showed the owner what was wrong with the order and he said "we are busy, we get orders and do them" when I asked for at least acknowledgment that they messed up and to apologize, he kept saying "we're busy" how is that a reason to mess up an order? After trying to explain that I get it, people make mistakes, all I wanted was an "I'm sorry for your inconvenience" he rolled his eyes at me. At least own it and apologize. So unprofessional.
