Let me first say. I don't write reviews. If I've had bad experience, I tend to keep it moving. I…read morebelieve that my bad experience shouldn't influence one's decision to try something. I'm a simple blue collar guy ,who every once in a while, tries to do something nice for my wife. Five years ago, I was introduced to House of food porn via a food tv show. Thought to myself thats something i think the wife would like. Then BOOM! Chief Franco and Nikki welcomed us as if we have been life long friends. When I saw all the hard work they put into our dining experience, I was impressed. Now I know what you're thinking. "This guy needs to get out more" or " That guy has no idea what fine dining is". And you might be right. But I do know what sincerity looks like. I do know what hard work is. I understand what it means to try to get one's dream off the ground and try to make it work. Like I said earlier, I'm simple. But to me, what the House of food porn is doing is something just short of magic. But don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself.

The designated parking isn't clear and was full. We did get help and guidance to park in the empty lot next door but it was overgrown grass with trash not friendly to my outfit and no setting the tone. The trash and environment outside of the venue is distracting ... Im a native born and raised and knew what to anticipate but still it was disappointing. If you are willing to overlook that aspect, it is a unique experience and I would recommend you try it. I cant say enough good things about chef and his beautiful lady.

I won the tickets from Yelp and I can't thank them enough. Every seat in the show is designed to see the performance from a great angle. The stage is circular and the artists sort of rotate in a way that no matter if your sitting in the last row or the first, you will enjoy it. You can buy the tickets online and the show is still currently being featured until February 4 2018. (I think) My favorite act was the one where they used bicycles and did some amazing acrobatic things with them. I always enjoy the singing or music aspect of Cirque Du Soleil as well. Side Note: Parking is convenient and always monitored by the employees, so your vehicle will not get stuck or no one will block it. It was cash or you can use your sun pass sticker which makes it $5 cheaper. VOLTA is here for a little while longer in Miami, go check it out to get amazed by the performances.~

Oh VOLTA…read more This show is unlike any other Cirque Du Soleil show I've seen yet. This show has everything you expect from a Cirque show and more. The show has high flying aerialist and acrobats performing hoop diving, rings and even slackline. Jump ropers who go as fast as the light on the rope - and BMX riders that can perform tricks on their bikes that will leave your jaw on the ground. This show incorporates technology in the show with the lighting and use of projection on the stage to show "memories". The show is well constructed and has a great storyline behind it. The greys, the free spirits and the super elites. The costumes in this show are unique with each grouping mentioned above, as each costume has a different representation. The music in the show is great, it is something that can be listened to often and you would not know that it belong to a Cirque Du Soleil show. The Grand Chapiteau (the big top) is designed differently than the traditional colors of the big top which are usually a yellow gold and a dark blue. Volta has a grey big top tent and then they associate with lights so the tent changes colors which is neat to see at night time. The show is great for a girls night out, date night with a significant other or a day out with the kiddos. Just remember to find your free spirit.

I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.

And they even have awesome happy hour specialties, which I will be running back to? Yes, I may call this a cheesy restaurant, but I truly enjoyed everything about it. The food was quite good. The service was extremely attentive. The violinist was strangely entertaining. And the unique environment they have created is really an experience. I had the paella and my wife had the chicken and waffles. The paella was good, but did not have that familiar crust that makes paella authentic. Socarrat is the caramelized, crispy, and savory golden crust that forms on the bottom of a proper paella, considered the dish's hallmark of quality and was sadly absent. The chicken and waffles was also good but there was nothing interesting or spectacular about it. Waffles were pretty standard and the chicken was moist and cooked nicely, but nothing stood out about the breading. It was really the atmosphere they create that made this a wonderful meal. My big negative is that they have taken a room decorated perfectly with hearts, even in the trees, lights, and other decorations with scream, romance, and then adulterated the whole thing with advertising screens in every direction. I'm here already. Yes I would love to know what else you offer, but I don't want to see it flashing in front of me my entire meal from every angle that I look at. Yes it was effective because I now know about the happy hour and the special nights that you have, but I do think that my repeat business will be limited because I will have to look at these screens every minute of my meal every time I come in. Overall, a good experience, and with a few tweaks could be a great one.

We went with the Butcher's Feast, and each cut of steak was absolutely delicious. We also got the Wagyu add-on for a bit of an extra charge, and honestly I would say it is worth it. I loved how you could completely customize each and every bite. All of the steak was soooo flavorful, and all of the vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. One of my favorite parts of the meal was also watching them cook the steak for us right at our table. Just tell them what kind of cook you want on your steak, and they will take care of the rest. As far as the approachability of this restaurant, I found it very welcoming and a really great hospitality team. Having never tried a Michelin Star restaurant before, I was worried I would be out of my element but I felt very comfortable here. They tell you how to make your bites of vegetables and recommend different flavor combinations to try. This is an AMAZING place to come on a special occasion, and the price of the meal reflects the high quality of the aged steak, and the attention to detail on each dish. Highly recommend the Butcher's Feast and a trip to come visit this restaurant.

This is also Miami where ppl linger so it felt off. Plus we didn't see our main server David for most of our meal but everyone who rotated in was nice... some more charismatic than others. Did the butchers feast with the Wagyu add on (so worth it!) and everything was good. The Wagyu was so buttery and soft! The egg soufflé is amazing, wish the server told us how to eat all the accoutrements but when we asked we were walked through it. Drinks were solid - old fashioned, the gold standard were nice and boozy and the logo ice was a nice touch. Vibe was good and would go back for that Wagyu and soufflé alone.

I got a flavorful bottle of Gewurtztraminer for $16, which I believe was less than a third of the full price. It's a great thing to be able to share with friends. They have a DJ playing in the front of the lounge for fun mood setting without being obnoxious. We tried the hummus with fried pita which was genuine and creamy. The fried pita was tasty crispy and made for easy scooping. We had the crispy calamari with lemon aioli as well and were impressed by the size of the calamari, the volume of the dish and the taste of the calamari---good seasoning in the breading and the citrusy aioli. Service was great. They had 3 attentive ladies manning the bar and the floor which was adequate for the client crowd, so we were able to get everything we wanted in a timely manner. They have pretty solid local craft beers on tap, so don't think you're going to be let down by trying a beer. They also offer a ladies hour from 6-7 pm which is definitely the time to come. It includes free Prosecco, red and white wines, beer and Moscow mules. I have to return to try their other wines and beers, so I could see this place becoming a regular spot for me!
