I came back the next day and had the exact same dish. I actually asked for more vegetables and less chicken the 2nd time around because there was so much chicken. I also cheated and asked for extra flying fish roe (have to pay extra but worth every single penny). Downside is they got 1 order wrong. I guess that is good news since they appear to be genuine Japanese so communication took a bit of trying on both sides. Bottom line, good food that is great value for money.

Went again and had fried oyster again. Oyster seems not well cooked and also smelled really bad. I asked to server and she asked me if i would pay for it. I said no since I couldn't even finish a bite. Generally food is simple and alright for the price, but i just won't go again cause I don't want another stomachache.

Also the meat pattie was over cooked and really hard on one side. They brought the "side" of fries out almost as an appetiser before the kids meal and burgers. In my life and travels and dining out, I've never experienced that. Fries at a burger place, is listed under "sides" ... so it should be served alongside the burger. Naturally. Whilst the venue is a dope setting, I would have preferred a Hungry Jack's Whopper to the Milky Lane burger to be honest. The service was nice enough though.

The burgers were delicious, loaded fries were a massive serving (3 of us couldn't get through them) and tasted great, popKorn chicken was mouth wateringly good, ham and cheese croquettes were yummy and let's not forget the most decadent dessert which was a deep fried golden gaytime icecream. How the ice cream stayed so beautiful and frozen is a delight, i wasn't expecting it to taste quite so delicious. The frozen strawberry and lime cider was also a hit and the chocolate shake was yummy.

My host family was visiting from Japan and wanted to eat seafood. We made a reservation on a Friday…read moreevening and when I called to try push it back, they were accommodating. This restaurant was part of the Marriott Hotel and is über classy! The minute you arrive, you are greeted and walk through part of the buffet. They position the seafood in the front for a reason. This buffet is clean and full of options. You can have seafood, meat, pizza, noodles, salad, etc. There is definitely something do everyone but the seafood is the standout. I ate crab, crab, and more crab. It was SO fresh!!!!!! I was so happy because it's been ages since I have had crab and it hit the spot. They also had scallops, oysters, prawns, and more! The only seafood missing was lobster but that's OK because the crab was outstanding. I also tried Moreton bay bugs for the first time and I was pleased. It was cooked with garlic and spices so the flavours were so nice. As if you couldn't fill up on the main course, they have a decadent dessert section that includes make your own ice, sundaes, and endless cake, tarts, and fresh fruit. My host family including my nine year old host sister loved the buffet. I think everyone can find something and the staff were super friendly. This isn't your typical buffet and I highly recommend it if you want to treat yourself or some special guests visiting.

When we made our way to Gold Coast we thought why not spoil ourselves at a buffet. This spot got near any Australian thing you can think of and then some for breakfast. Whether it's Ceres, yogurt and pastries or fruit with meat and carbs you got it here. The juice/coffee bar was a nice touch as well and we spent our time not piling on our plates and eating trying every one of their juices and coffee on offer. I do wish I had room for more pastry but we ran out of time. For the price of 50 aud I'd easily come back with the boiz for a nice breakfast. And definitely if we stay longer than the day try the dinner!
