On our Sunday lunch time visit the venue appeared to be a family orientated food and beverage oasis in the Gold Coast theme park precinct. However, I believe the venue tailors to a broader market with Ladies and Gents events scheduled on a regular basis to attract different local crowds. The lunchtime menu had an extensive range of dishes to satisfy most people's tastes, steaks, seafood, salads, pasta, risottos, chicken parma and daily specials such as the Sunday bucket of prawns and beer which was very tempting but I passed on this occasion. Orders are taken at the counter and bar. There is no table service. Cutlery and napkins are also obtained at a station in the middle of the establishment. Unfortunately the station was left un-stocked with napkins and menus for an extended period of time which was the only negative aspect of the experience. Lunch came out quickly and was a simple Chorizo and Prawn Risotto in a tomato base with a hint of chilli. It was certainly a tasty dish of generous proportioning with a liberal amount of prawns giving a real sense of value and exceeding my expectations ten fold. It was delicious. My wife enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak and ribs which she devoured between nibbling on the crunchy potato chips. I note the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare.

Terrible. Avoid. I've never seen such an unorganised restaurant in my life. And do not expect the food to be good - I ordered a haloumi and beetroot salad which had a laughable 1 slice of beetroot in it, and it seemed to consist of a whole diced red onion. Maybe they should call it a red onion salad... they didn't even soak the red onion in lime or lemon juice so it was overpowering and raw. Disgusting, would not recommend. You have to actually get up and find your own cutlery and napkins - and the benches that provided the stuff ware empty and we had to stand around waiting for a staff member to go find us some knives and forks.
