What a surprise it was to find such a place slap bang buried in the heart of Inala. No wonder it is nicknamed Inala's hidden gem. I understand the Club itself is now over 60 years old, starting from a tin shed by a bunch of fishermen to what it is today, a modern professionally run fully licensed facility. Nice cosy well presented premises, great friendly staff and quite reasonably priced quality food and drink and I had no difficulty getting in either. Post COVID-19 shutdown meant a short wait in line while they checked people in and explained that all ordering is done in the app. But we could then choose our table and settle in to check the menu on the app. We both chose a glass of Pepperjack Shiraz and the 280g Black Angus Rump. Both steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare and the steak cut chips super crunchy. Update Aug 2020: We've now had 3 delicious steak dinners and have already booked in for next Tuesday (half price steak anyone?!)

If you don't get served in a few minutes, try another bar - they won't bother telling you you're in a non-service area, just look at you silently. For a weekend steak place you can rock up to in casual gear, this is perfectly satisfactory.

This is for hotel management... at 4:30 am this morning there was a loud couple staying in the room…read morenext to us. I am not using my cell phone so I didn't call management but instead I e-mailed them and reported it. No one responded. Then another couple started fighting above our room at 9 am and I was fed up and sleep deprived so I walked to the office and told the receptionist about my complaint. 1st couple on the first floor at 4:30 am was kicked out, thank goodness. But this 2nd couple staying on the 2nd floor is still fighting. The man has been verbally abusing the woman and management hasn't done anything about it yet. This is just wrong. Also I had to ask the receptionist if we could stay until noon because we're still tired and did not sleep well here. It's unfortunate because I asked her yesterday when we checked in if it's a quiet area and obviously she couldn't have predicted this but she should've pointed out that the walls are thin! Not coming back here. Spacious rooms but who cares when you want to rest and are able to hear other guests through the walls and ceiling.
