Daycare here is one of my pups favorite things!…read more My pup went here for YEARS! We have since moved out of the area which is why he doesn't go now. There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it.

I do not understand how there are so many good reviews for this place. I've been to other doggy…read moredaycare places (Stone Mountain), but Ruff Love was closer and more convenient, so I thought I'd give it a try. I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.

Super big thank you to Bobbie at Bob's for the great one on one attention given to my two dogs! I also appreciate immensely how accommodating Bobbie was with my uncertain travel schedule. 100% will use this service again. Two happy dogs - Bentley and Bleau are now at home dreaming about their "vacation" (deep sleeping and feets running). Thank you!

I called the biggest one in town…read more(you can imagine what business I'm talking about!) and took my dog out for a 10 minute "test" they called it. 10 minutes later I went inside to see how my dog did and I heard my dog barking frantically in a cage. ??? HOW did that happen in 10 minutes? Apparently they put my dog in a small room with a vet and another dog and they said he didn't do well...of course not! He doesn't know any of you and was scared! I immediately went to find another company and found Animal Friends. I told them of this situation and they said to bring my dog down to meet them, he did fine as I expected and my dog has now been happily boarded for 2.5 years. I travel extensively and appreciate that it's a family owned business that actually cares about my dog. They know I travel and accomodate me too because some nights I come in late and picking up the next day is better for me. If you are looking for a great dog boarding company that will treat you and your dog like family, I totally recommend Animal Friends.

Anyway, we just moved to Minnesota and tried P-K Pet Resort & Spa for the first time this past weekend. Since we don't know anyone here yet, we didn't have a backup plan if things went wrong--and our pets are truly our children--so their safety and happiness were our top priorities. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. I was invited to tour the facility and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet it was. At most boarding and daycare places, you hear lots of barking and commotion, but not here. Instead, there was soothing music, TVs for visual stimulation, and every dog I saw looked happy--wagging tails, relaxing on their beds, or enjoying their private patios. We've always boarded our pups together because one of them, Newt, has separation anxiety when she's not with her brother, Samson. The staff took my concerns seriously, asking about food aggression and making sure safety came first, but they also respected my knowledge of my dogs. We agreed that if there was any problem, they'd be separated. I appreciated that balance of caution and flexibility. Our dogs got cuddle time, outside play time, and their own outdoor patio space. We also loved having access to a live camera feed--Samson especially enjoyed the patio! On top of that, we received thoughtful updates letting us know the dogs were doing well, eating, and showing no aggression, so they got to stay together. They even joked, asking if we brought the right dogs since I had been so worried beforehand. Overall, P-K went above and beyond to make us (and our pups) feel comfortable. We felt reassured, supported, and most importantly, we could see how happy our dogs were. We'll definitely be coming back.

It was heartbreaking. The staff were spectacular and they wouldn't give up. Kept giving him fresh food, talking to him. Finally broke the ice with a lick mat covered in whipped cream. They sent a picture, he had one side eye on Alex while he licked. Between the live feed, emails, and phone calls, we were able to check on his progress. What a wonderful experience. We were only going to be gone for a few days, so it was reassuring to see his progress. Once he started eating we knew everything was going to be okay. Just a great experience, much more than a business, a real service provider.

When pet owners go to energy healers, we usually have exhausted all other means, and are desperate…read more This makes us easy victims. My young cat was not eating much and has lost quite some weight. His doctor, while waiting for the test results, guessed it was feline fip, a deadly disease without known cure. In a state of panic, I found Bonnie Illos on the internet, and booked the consultation appointment. I thought the consultation was to find out what she feels the problem may be, and if she was able to do something, but I was wrong. Without knowing anything about my cat, she went in to a long speech of how diet can affect the health of my cat, and some very general information about how to properly take care of my cat. As time ticks on, I finally had to stop her and told her that I actually have a lot of experience with cats, and that my cats are on the best diet possible. Obviously, she is experienced in such situation, she then changed to a question and answer format, and continued for the rest of the "consultation ". Before the session was over, I was so desperate to see if her healing would benefit my cat, I engaged her for a healing session. As the healing session began, she told me that she felt my cat has serious problems with his liver and kidney, and it is not unusual for a cat to go into a deep sleep during and after the session. Well, my cat has been sleeping before I spoke with this woman, and all cats would hide and sleep when they are not well. The healing session, did nothing for my cat. I received two emails from her afterwards, to fish for more healing appointments. When I told her that my cat has not responded to her healing treatment, and that he was still not eating, she actually told me that the body knows when it can not process the healing energy, that I should just let him go. At no time did her intuitions let her know that my cat was dying of a virus without cure. I was an easy prey because I was desperate and hoping for a miracle, and this woman took advantage of the situation. If your beloved pet is not well, save your money and go to a good vet. If anyone else had similar experience with Bonnie Illies, please share your stories and help keep other pet owners from being victimized by her.

She then contacted previous clients (who had referred me, acquaintances of mine) to tell them "She thought she could help my pet, but did not think that I would be compliant with the diet". She discussed the wrong pets chart with me, and she was rude and accusatory that I was "distracted" during the initial consult and I was wrong about my own pets symptoms; come to find out she did indeed have the wrong information in front of her. She gave my pet the same diagnosis (Liver) as many other reviews have stated. Put her on a diet that basically starved her as she continued to decline. No evidence of any improvement in my pet, and Bonnie was invasive and harassing at times with her incessant phone calls and emails. Never discussed payment, did not have any type of contract, verbal or other. She then sent an invoice that was not itemized, for an extravagant amount, much higher than I had blindly predicted. Terrible experience from start to finish. Actually, I am still dealing with her, considering blocking her number and email. Horrific. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
