The staff members know our dog by name and give us updates on his day if requested. They post daily photos of the pets on social media which is fun to see what they are up to. The play area webcams also give you a look as to how your dog is doing. There are seasonal or holiday offerings which are fun add ons. For example, if a pet is being boarded during thanksgiving, you can add on a thanksgiving themed meal for your dog to enjoy. Valentine's Day boarding and daycare can opt into a treat exchange so your pet goes home with a variety of goodies. They also have done a yearly photos with Santa event which got us an adorable photo of our dog and Santa. DDG loves each dog like their own and the quality of care is outstanding! I really appreciate that this is a family-owned small business and not a large chain like a number of the other local doggy daycare/boarding facilities. They get to know all of the pups super well. They are really "blossomed" the past year and a half in terms of offering tons of fun theme days where you can get photos of your dog dressed up and participating in activities (bunny ear photos and Easter egg hunt for Easter!) They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. The ability to be able to have Nora get groomed, nails clipped, and her anal glands expressed all during a regular day at daycare is amazing and so convenient. When we moved just over a year ago, we literally made sure to keep in mind the distance between us and Wag 'n Woofs because bringing her elsewhere was not an option. I really appreciate that they require proof of fecal and vaccinations in their effort to provide the most healthy stay possible for the animals being boarded their. One of our dogs is on a boatload of very critical medications for pain relief and inflammation for a very bad back problem that surgery did not correct. The staff there are very conscientious about giving meds and making sure that food is offered in the correct amount. This last stay the staff kept in close touch with me because one of our pups decided not to eat very well. I can't begin to say how much I appreciate their communication with me about my dog's welfare while staying at the kennel. I also love that they have a variety of different kinds of kennels (if you can call them that!). My dogs stay in a suite with a bed, couch, TV and classical music to help calm them. Just fabulous!! I love getting the photo updates and the reports on how they are doing while I am away. I appreciate that, depending on your dog, they can participate in group play or have playtime all to themselves if they aren't a big fan of party time. (My dogs don't play well with others! LOL). The Resort offers activities such as brain games to help the dogs pass the time. My dogs love it! Each time I have picked up my dogs they are happy, clean, and healthy. Staff there are friendly and seem to care about the dogs left in their care. Expect to pay more for this level of service! And don't complain about the cost! Dogs are family. It's worth every penny to know my dogs are being loved on, cared for and pampered while I am away.

Our 2 year old border mix has been coming here for 9 months, she comes home happy and exhausted. We appreciate the low ratio for staff to pup. They really are passionate and care for all the pups. We actually have a dog daycare facility 5 minutes from our house, but prefer to drive the 20 minutes from Apple Valley to Woofdah. I'm so impressed that Woofdah prioritizes keeping their dog : staff ratio lower than anywhere else I've seen - at some other places, it feels like they stuff as many dogs as possible in with very little supervision, but not Woofdah. Because that's important to me, I had no problem putting him on the waitlist and waiting a few months to get him in. All the staff is not only friendly, but also so attentive and caring towards all the dogs. It isn't uncommon for me to go on the webcams and see a staff member playing with or giving attention directly to Hank. Their orientation process gave me peace of mind that Hank wouldn't be at risk by another dog's dangerous or disruptive behavior, as they watch behavior closely during orientation day. Their facilities are awesome and include cage free boarding and a pool. I love being able to have them handle baths and nail trims while he's at Woofdah. At the end of the day at pick up, they always surface any abnormal behaviors and sometimes fun stories about what Hank was up to during the day. Couldn't recommend Woofdah enough!
