Disappointed to say the least. We called and reserved for 4 with two carts. Showed up, leaving our push carts at home, and they said someone took the carts without paying and we're all out of carts. We were stuck walking. All the loaner push carts they had were broken so we were stuck with broken push carts. For $60 per person I would expect a way nicer course. read more

We had an early T-time and absolutely no carts available. Our friends that were able to get a cart the damn cart died. Fix the cart situation and we might come back. Otherwise we this is our first and only time. read more

This is no joke it's the worst kept golf course I have ever seen or played on. The putting greens are all hard cracked mud with barely any grass. I can keep going on and on about the fairways... I should've realize when we pulled up on a Saturday that there were hardly any cars. They charged only $35 to play there golf course but we all would not play it again if it was free that's how bad it really was. I feel bad for the owner, but I felt I needed to let my fellow golfers know. It is just not right it will frustrate you to know end and ruin your game/day. They did have a good grilled hot dog. There was absolutely nobody in the restaurant so I don't think I would ever eat there either knowing they don't turn over their grocery supplies. The employees were very nice. read more

The roughs were so long we couldn't find balls. The greens at 18 had goughes in it. The ball machine was empty so we couldn't use the driving range. For the cost it should have been better maintained. read more

First of all, there was no beer cart, which was an immediate red flag. The conditions were absolutely horrendous. Granted, there was a storm last night that shook up some leaves, but losing a ball in the fairway is ridiculous. A little sweeping would have been appreciated. I've played three times at Blue Heron this year. The first two times (mid June and early July) were great -- the course was well-maintained and very suitable for golfers of all talents. Hole #1 is a tricky start -- a drivable par 4, but only if you can thread the needle between a large tree and the woods, all across a largish marsh -- most golfers will want to go around to the right. The par 5 hole #7 is deliciously evil, again requiring a straight shot between trees on either side as well as a strong approach shot to avoid a large valley that cuts across from the right. Hole #8 is a short par 3 requiring a precision drop onto the figure-eight green, and hole #17 requires a true leap of faith off the tee as the shot is completely blind. The beauty of the surroundings adds to the charm of this short course. Like every course in the Pacific Northwest I've been to, the tee boxes aren't nearly as level as I'd like, but my only real complaint at the time was how slow the greens were. However, our most recent visit on August 16th told a different story than the previous two visits this year. The course was as hard as a rock -- tees, greens, and fairways. In fact, it was incredibly difficult to even get a tee into the ground. The greens were in terrible shape, to the point where we ended up playing "winter rules" and picking up after two putts. (The sixth green was in fact out of bounds, with a flag instead stuck into the end of the fairway.) It was incredibly depressing to drop a beautiful lob straight down into the middle of the green on #8, only to see it bounce straight up into the air and carom out of bounds. I was glad we were only playing nine holes that day -- my arms were getting tired from absorbing the shock of my irons hitting the concrete-feeling fairway. Since the summer has been very mild and the course was in great condition just five weeks earlier, it makes me wonder if their sprinkler system is damaged. (The one next to the third tee was in fact broken and sending water down along the tee box.) When this course is in good shape, it's the best one you can play for the money around here. But right now, in late summer, I'd strongly advise avoiding it. read more

I took Friday off from work to play golf with a buddy. As usual, I was looking forward to playing a course I had not played in some time. Paid $55 including Golfnow booking fee. The putting greens were the worst I have ever played. From the tee boxes to the fairways (I would hit it in the middle of the fairway and the grass was so long the ball with half buried) to greens or should I say browns, the course maintenance was very bad. Don't get me wrong, I was not expecting Sahalee County Club type conditions. What I got was dried out, dead and cracked putting surfaces (see posted photo). After playing, I wanted to file a complaint with the club pro or GM. The guy at the counter said they were not currently here and would be back later in the day. I tried calling and no one answered the phone at 5:30pm? I call back and finally reached someone in the restaurant. I asked them to have the GM please call me back. Someone named Logan did call back and I relayed my complaint. He acknowledged the poor course conditions and provided reasons for current situation. He was not willing or able to provide a refund or any type of credit. I recommended that they need to provide course condition transparency and post a updated message on their website. I would never play Blue Heron again or recommend this course! read more

Golfed 2 days in a row here. Rented a power cart both days. First day got an electric cart, which was sweet. Second day was told that you can't get an electric cart until all the old gas ones are out. Pretty disappointed in this, as they were still making everyone use gas even at the end of my round. Girl at the desk was adamant about the rule, even at the expense of their customers. Not a great customer experience. read more

Love Blue Heron, food is super yummy and the course on the Snoqualmie river is beautiful. The signature 7th hole is the most satisfying hole to hit a big drive on, especially if you can fade it past the tree. Gotta check it out read more

Overall a good experience, we played there just a few weeks ago and although the course wasn't in the excellent shape it was still an amazing experience. We were helped by Logan in the pro shop and he was extremely accommodating as well as more then willing to provide some very much needed and helpful course knowledge. If you looking to play a course expecting country club conditions steer clear however. For the 99% of golfers just looking to go out and enjoy some time outside with family and friends I would highly recommend read more

Two stars is probably generous here, not a very well-run or maintained course. We booked what we thought was a tee time with a cart, the office informed us no carts were available when we arrived. There was a big backlog created by this. What made no sense to us is that there were 30 carts in the cart garage just sitting in the cart garage. The back log made for a poor experience for everyone out ther, it seemed avoidable, and the staff didn't care. read more

I have golfed here for several years. It seems every time I visit there has been some improvement in the course...brush cleared, a sand trap added, etc. It is still a modest "country course", but I enjoy it. However, the Blue Heron restaurant is seriously understaffed. Tonight my wife and I finished a enjoyable 9-hole round in just under 2 hrs. We then ordered a sit-down dinner at the restaurant and spent almost 2 hrs waiting for our order to be delivered. We spent more time in the restaurant than on the course. I like the course (I think you will too), but go elsewhere for dinner/drinks. read more

Lovely golf course. Beautiful laid out with lots of wildlife and great views, pretty secluded. Less crowded than other places, which I love. There is a nice restaurant with viewing deck so you can relax after a game with a drink and food. The only minus for me is to many water hazards, deep enough that I can't make it without losing a ball but usually there is an option of red start. Otherwise we like this place a lot. read more

This course may be in the worst condition of any I've ever played at in western Washington. The fairways have weeds that make it hard to see and hit your ball and there are no bunkers, just weed-infested sand areas. To charge a $48 walking rate is unbelievable. Some of the greens had water on and under them (on the hottest day of the year) and were literally sinking. What a disappointment when every other course (munis to private) used the closures during the early stages of the pandemic to make their courses well-conditioned. read more

Blue Heron is a great value course. Tee Times available on the TeeOff app that are a bargain. The course is very basic but in decent condition and ideal for beginners or those looking to practice as the crowds are usually minimal. Employees are friendly. It's certainly not Pebble Beach, but for the cost it's great. I'd give it 5 stars except the driving carts are a little run down and so not handle bumps well. Highly recommend otherwise for new golfers and those looking to spend time improving their game. read more

They have cleaned up the golf course, everything is mowed and cleaned up. The restaurant has great food and Mike in the bar is a joy. This place has turned around. Great happy hour, great golf, super friendly and great prices. Give it a try again and be surprised. Oysters in the bar on Thursdays and Lasagna on Sundays. Owners are super nice and bend over backwards to make you happy. read more

Played this course back in April 2014 and just now getting around to writing the review. The place has an apparently new clubhouse with a decent bar and restaurant and friendly staff, but thats about all it has going for it. The course itself was TERRIBLE. For starters its a horrible location. The course was built out of a marsh/swamp. The course was incredibly wet. There was standing water all over the place and it had not rained in a couple days. My ball was constantly plugging on the fairway and some spots were just plain not mowed. On one hole in particular, a par 4, it looked like the fairway hadn't been mowed yet this season and I was essentially hitting my second shot (which landed in the fairway) from what was far worse than any rough I'd seen. The greens were very rough and several had dead spots. I paid for 18 but didnt even bother to play the back 9. Easily the worst course I've played in recent memory. read more

Wow. It had been years since I had been to this course. I heard it has improved with new owners and you can see some improvements for sure. But the root issue with this course is it is in swamp and the grasses, except the greens, are in bad shape. There was one hole that seems to be under construction (#8?) that should just be closed right now. Most greens were in pretty good shape where there is grass but most also had strips of flat out mud. At 5,700 yards from the "tips" it should be super easy to score but between the tiny greens and bad grass it isn't. At $49 with a cart on weekends it is NOT a good deal. Maybe $20 and you get what you pay for. I won't be going back. read more

The course is fairly short but fairways, tee boxes, and greens were in decent condition. Not sure if i encountered the worst regulars they have but one party refused to let a single cart rider play through as they searched in the woods for 10 minutes lookin for what probably was a range ball, or the guy that i let play through then decided to play three balls by himself and hold me up instead of join me. But I must say the meatball sub was immaculate after a stressful outing read more

It's over $60 to play 18 holes with a cart. It's cheaper to play Twin Rivers in Fall City, which isn't far from this course and honestly it's in better shape. Echo Falls in woodinville is also awesome and a little cheaper. read more

This place had really did a complete 360 of remodeling and making the golf course look really good! I had play a well game with my friends and family and it was so nice and quiet, Also it had wildlife animals that wasn't in the way when you play or drive. it was just Perfect! after a long game they have a nice bar to hangout and relax. I am new to the sport and was excited to try out this local course. The course itself was good and the location is beautiful! You can easily tell that this course has been renovated by expert golfers. The course was busy, but not over-crowded and that's areal bonus in my book. The course is well-maintained and also offers a great clubhouse with a beautiful deck for relaxing after the game. We enjoyed breakfast and it was top-notch too! I was excited to learn about the new ladies club too! I recommend heading out there. read more

I really enjoy the course! However the last two times I have been there it has taken over 6 hours to play a complete round. Today is a Saturday and again I tried to give it a try. After 5 hours I was only through 12 holes and had to walk off. It would have taken another 2 hours to play the remaining holes. No coyrse marshall and a total collapse in scheduling. Too bad. Wonderful place to play and very friendly staff as well as a wonderful restaurant. I just can't see golfing on a course that takes upwards of 7 hours. Go to the restaraunt but skip the golf. read more

Can't believe anyone gave this course more than a single star. It is unquestionably in the worst shape of any golf course that I have played in my entire life. Half the tee boxes were "sanded" which meant piles of sand just dumped on the box without being raked. Paying $5 to play this goat trail might be fair. read more

Love this course. Great family fun and a wonderful bar & grill. We play a lot here with our daughter and love it! With her junior WJGA tournaments we get to see a lot of courses and this is one of our faves. We keep coming back and they did great job on the remodel!! read more

For $15 green fee with cart included, I can't be mad at what I got. Course was beat up for sure! Fairways are overgrown, tee boxes are all sand, if you hit into the rough... consider your ball lost. This was the worst golf course I have ever been on. Lost 3 balls on the first t because you of tall grass in fairways. The greens are not greens.m, they a browns. Almost all dirt and lumpy. I'm telling g you you will be so upset if you pay money to play here. If your looking to just practice hitting off at box then I guess this is your place. The whole course is nothing but weeds. Very disorganized company definitely does not put customer first. Bathrooms are filthy almost every time I am there and there is constantly mud in the pro shop. One day I went to play a round and I witnessed what I assume to be an upper level employee throw a trash can at one of the cart boys. I highly recommend taking your business to any of the other courses in the Snoqualmie valley. The Blue Heron does not give off a professional feel or a fun and comfortable experience like a golf course should. read more

We decided to try out the new restaurant at the Blue Heron Golf Club on Friday night. Wow! It has been a long time and now the fresh items on the dinner menu are amazing. My wife had an amazing filet and crab leg and I had the original paella that was incredible with huge shrimp and true Andouille sausage! And the prices were very reasonable given the high quality of the food. Great wine prices as well! We are definitely going back - we heard from other diners the Friday night Prime Rib is the best around. read more

I am torn on how many stars to give. The course has been one of our favorites for golf and for dinner/happy hour/ meet up with friends etc. ... the people there are always nice and the place is clean.We use to come to the clubhouse even if we didn't play golf. We also realize it is always tough on a golf course to keep good people and make everyone happy. But lately the menu and the food are not anything we go out of our way to go to any longer. They removed so many of the favorites and the quality is just not there and the prices of course went up. Hopefully they will re-think what they have tried to do...we wish them well. read more
