    Hole #3 putting green

I took Friday off from work to play golf with a buddy. As usual, I was looking forward to playing a course I had not played in some time. Paid $55 including Golfnow booking fee. The putting greens were the worst I have ever played. From the tee boxes to the fairways (I would hit it in the middle of the fairway and the grass was so long the ball with half buried) to greens or should I say browns, the course maintenance was very bad. Don't get me wrong, I was not expecting Sahalee County Club type conditions. What I got was dried out, dead and cracked putting surfaces (see posted photo). After playing, I wanted to file a complaint with the club pro or GM. The guy at the counter said they were not currently here and would be back later in the day. I tried calling and no one answered the phone at 5:30pm? I call back and finally reached someone in the restaurant. I asked them to have the GM please call me back. Someone named Logan did call back and I relayed my complaint. He acknowledged the poor course conditions and provided reasons for current situation. He was not willing or able to provide a refund or any type of credit. I recommended that they need to provide course condition transparency and post a updated message on their website. I would never play Blue Heron again or recommend this course!

    Lots of wildlife nearby

Lovely golf course. Beautiful laid out with lots of wildlife and great views, pretty secluded. Less crowded than other places, which I love. There is a nice restaurant with viewing deck so you can relax after a game with a drink and food. The only minus for me is to many water hazards, deep enough that I can't make it without losing a ball but usually there is an option of red start. Otherwise we like this place a lot.

Massive amounts of invasive grasses and weeds. Ever heard of fertilizer and weed control?

Its open again!!! Yelp needs to change it's status. Golf is open now and restaurant is coming soon.

This course is slowly falling apart more than it used to be the fairways are bone dry it's almost like your ball is hitting concrete cartpaths so lay up because the ball will roll forever. The greens are unfortunately are also drier than the Sahara desert areas where they're just the soils cracking apart. Round of golf was $55 cart was almost $40 The driving range supposedly is under repair. Don't necessarily know what their repairing the mats are aged and rough. You're not hitting on a flat service so to each their own, maybe it gets you ready for the round.. also the pads are also completely packed full of dirt and dust. The kitchen was closed. I don't know if they permanently closed it so very minimal selection on food couple sandwiches in the drink coolers got your standard water, Gatorade, few sodas, limited selection on swing lube (beer). Pros: forgiving course pretty open unless the ball just keeps on rolling. Quiet usually don't have to wait too long for the people in front of you. Gas carts so quick driving. Cons: need to put a hammer in your bag to get your tees into the tea boxes. The greens are whack. They need to invest a little bit money in their intercom too because you don't understand anything they're saying.

Cons: course itself usually is in terrrrrrrrrible condition, the greens keepers are total rookies at what they do, the fairways are like a normal course's rough and their rough is almost a guaranteed lost ball as it is mostly heavily thorn bushes, the greens are garrrrrrrbage can see the individual long blades of grass sooo slow, the carts are expensive and old AF, no restaurant or bar. I will only come back if it is a last resort place to play. Very easy course par 70.

The golf course is spacious and spans out further than I initially thought, as I ended up crossing neighborhood streets to get to the next hole. The golf carts were handy! The course was also well-maintained, and it really felt like I was away from the city, with its surrounding of trees, ponds and greenery. Staff was suppper friendly and personable! Great customer service here. Many of the staff will go around in their carts to the different guests around the course, refilling drinks and providing snacks. I also like that they recognized frequent customers. The club itself was nice, and served as a great gathering space for our event. There's a bar area and many rooms to use for set-up, meetings rooms and/or conferences, and a banquet area. There was also a large back deck area that looked out to the course. Parking was easy, as the parking lot is spacious, and is right in front of the building. This was a great space for golfing and mingling.

I'm on my way to Topgolf now and have already had the worst customer service experience of my life. The sequence of events goes as follows... I schedule a 2 bay event and put down 25% over 2 weeks ago for 7pm Then 3 days ago I have people in my party ask to move it to 6pm, I call my event coordinator line and no one answers so I leave a message. I don't hear back all day Then 2 days ago I call again same thing no response no call back. Finally today I decide to call the facility directly not via the event coordinator line. I deal with an options menu - a virtual assistant that doesn't want to connect me to the front desk - a customer service team - and then finally the front desk just to be hung up on. I then go through the same process 2 more times with customer service telling me the manager will call me back. After not hearing back I finally call back one last time and customer service tells me there is nothing they can do. If it weren't for the deposit, I'd cancel my event right now. I understand not being able to move the reservation but not calling me back for days and then not offering me any sort of explanation or compensation is unacceptable. What a disappointment. I won't be going back.
