I have played here many times so I will just make this review an easy to digest list of Pros and Cons: Pros: 1.) Views are amazing 2.) Has a great restaurant and bar with friendly staff 3.) Unique course with some fun holes 4.) Good range and putting green 5.) Pretty easy to get a tee time. Cons: 1.) The pro shop staff is rude as it gets. The old man working the counter acts like ringing someone up is just the biggest inconvenience of his life. Newsflash old timer...if you don't like working then RETIRE 2.) The pace of play can be really bad. I hardly get off this course in less than 5 hours and I am a 5 handicap. 3.) The prices used to be good but now they are not worth what you get. Have gone WAYYYY up 4.) The course was not in great shape last time I played especially the greens. Putts would bounce on the green and can see lots of hairy patches. Need to water more but hey, that would cost them $$ so that is out. 5.) I don't personally like the layout of the course that much. This is a course that rewards you for playing smart and mostly hitting your irons. Overall, lots of things good and bad with this place. I will only play it if it's my last resort now honestly. read more

A favorite local spot intermixed with golfers from around the region. The food portions are generous and consistently good. My husband's favorite is breakfast before 2pm and I am sold on the steak salad. Even on the busiest days the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I always feel like I am among friends. read more

Views are great. Course condition is average. Cost is very high for what you pay for. Pace of play is EXTREMELY slow. Staff is friendly EXCEPT for the elderly marshal driving around the course. My group waited ~10 minutes on the second hole, and subsequently waited on every single shot for the group ahead of us for the remainder of the round. On hole 10 or 11 the marshal accused my group of playing 1 hole behind pace of play, and that we needed to speed up. I told him we are waiting on every shot for the group ahead of us, so how can we go any faster? (see photo of me standing around, which was every shot of every hole ). He said that I was wrong and even doubled down and said he was watching us the entire round (this is a lie). I guess the marshal wanted us to hit up on the group ahead of us every single shot? Round took 5.5 hours; it unclear if the marshal was saying this same thing to every group of if he was singling us out for some reason. Regardless, he clearly did nothing to actually address the slow groups causing the rest of us to be behind a hole. Marshal must have woken on the wrong side of the bed and forgot his glasses at home. Overall, go play elsewhere else. You'll find better courses for the money, finish 1+ hours faster, and maybe interact with a marshal that actually enjoys their job read more

Amazing scenery, lovely design. Pace of play was a bit slow but I didn't mind as it was beautiful everywhere you looked. In my experience I did not see a cart option anywhere online. I'm not from the area so I was a bit worried I wouldn't get a cart. But I was assured they had plenty and they did. A friend of mine said because it rains so much carts can damage the course which made sense. All in all I loved this course. Lots of fun with the boys on this one! read more

This course is one of my favorite public courses in the Greater Seattle area. If you're willing to drive a little East of Seattle, you'll be rewarded with 18 holes of nice mountain views and well maintained fairways and greens. I started playing here early in the spring of 2021 and have played the course close to 10 times since then. From the white tees, it's about 6,000 yards in length, but it's a very walkable course. From green to tee, each hole is only a couple yards from each other. You'll be able to finish 18 holes around 4 hours or 4 1/2 if you're a beginner. Several times I've finished under 4 hours on the weekdays when it's not so busy. During the winter times, the drainage on this course is very good. My most recent round was in the winter after a previous day of rain. The fairways that day were dry and not muddy and the ball flew 10-15 yards less than what I would normally hit in the summer. The views are also very nice if you're having a bad golf day. Hole #6 is their signature hole with an incredible view of Mt. Si in the background. During the winter, you can see the snow caps on top on clear days and the summit in the spring and summer. The only reason I gave this course 4-stars is the price. Greens fees can be as low as $35 if you play twilight, but on weekends, it could be as high as $60+ and you don't get a discount for playing in the colder months unlike other courses. It would be nice to get some relief on the price. Overall, Mt. Si is a fun track to play. If you're a beginner, it's good to play the front nine. Once you play it on a regular basis, it gets more fun once you start shooting lower scores and lose 0-2 balls per round. Give it a shot! read more

The food is terrible at night. Salmon ran out. We are in Arizona, frozen trident salmon from sysco I bet. 4 entree options. One was out at 5:30 pm. I went with the penne pasta with shrimp. A butter sauce with a mini hamburger bun as bread. It was awful. Something your girlfriend tried too cook fir you at 16. I would fire the entire kitchen. Your the S.I. of golf. The restaurant location is a joke. You open the front door and bam your watching people eat and drink. When you enter the golf course the pro shop is right by the dining room, with windows looking in and over your tables. The menu is a joke. Chicken alfredo with penne pasta, that's the best thing on the menu. It was ok. Nothing for kids, no fish n chips no burger ,no fries at night. That's lazy cooks. The Chef should be fired. The GM is not doing his job. Their is a lot of money being lost because of poor management. I could flip that kitchen in a month and make better food then that. Over staffed at night. I like the course for the most part. I rarely play it, though. I have to drive about an hour to get to it, which is not a big deal. What is a big deal about that, though, is that I can't secure a tee time as a single. And the pro shop guys aren't always the nicest about it, kind of like I'm inconveniencing them as a single and they're doing me a favor to spend my $100. I'm not going to drive an hour and find it's an hour plus to get in a group, as it's always busy. Put that on top of my two hours' travel time, I'm into a 7 hour day. 75 dollars plus tax, to walk Mount Si,golf is completly nuts. It's a golf park, not in great shape and takes forever to play. The only nice thing is the view of the mountain. But with a hot dog and a bucket, paying 100 dollars has crossed this course of our list. You can play Echo Falls for far less and it's so much better of a course. read more

The course was in fair shape and the views of the mountains is great. I give this course a 1 star because the people that work there. In over 35 years of golf I have never had a marshal talk to a group I am playing with about pace of play while finishing on the first green. WHAT? then a different marshal talk to us on the 3rd tee box. To paint the picture here, I'm a 3 handicap and my friends are 10 to 15 and we play often. Also of note, 3 out of the four are ethnic minorities, 2 black, 1 Asian, and 1. White. This has to be the most racist golf course I've been to in the state. I will never return and would not recommend this golf course to anyone. read more

This is a mixed review on our experiences at Mt. Si Golf course. My husband and I are new to the sport and we have had a great experience with golf instruction from Ron Lee the head Pro. We had an awful experience on the course because of the strict time limits of 13 minutes per hole which was enforced by a very rude man, the Golf marshal or as we called him the golf Nazi hovering over us from the second hole on making sure we keep up! It's not enough to let faster players pass because the course is generally booked tight through out the day. It's just much pressure to race through the game and wasn't enjoyable at all! The restaurant is very quaint with a large deck off the back, friendly waitstaff and casual fare that is generally pretty good. Stop in and enjoy the view of Mt. Si you don't have to play golf here to enjoy the scenery and some lunch! read more

How beautiful is this course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I am a fan of all things golf. Not a hardcore golfer but I love golfing and I love driving ranges too. Especially with the ones that have stunning backdrops! Love love love! I was coming to my usual spot not too far from here but so glad I came here instead. That view of Mt Si cant be beat!!! The course itself is nicely maintained! Definitely a Challenging course for me!! The driving range area is good too. Better view from the course! This place is so poorly run that I was threatened with physical violence by one of the employees! This guy yelled at me for having my Jack Russell dog with my while I hit balls on the range. I explained that the dog wasn't bothering anyone and was just patiently sitting waiting for me. This guy exploded with anger and started cursing at me and calling me names and threatened to kill me and my "f**cking dog". The location is beautiful but the course is stupid and obviously there is a complete lack of respect or decency toward the customers. I don't care what business you're in. You can never threaten a customer with violence. This place should be sold to an owner that cares about the behavior of their employees. read more

We were told multiple times to pick up the pace. At the last hole, I was almost hit in the head by the golfers hitting up on us. It was not a fun experience. Beautiful course with wonderful scenery. Great restaurant and bar. I have golfed there before, but went this weekend and while it was a little damp out, they had just sanded the greens. Every time the ball was on the green it had to be wiped...just ruined the putting game. When i complained to the pro shop afterwards, got no apologies, just the comment that i was the first person who had complained the last two days. The golf course (GC) has a marvelously view of Mount Si, I love playing here I have two rounds in 2020 that took 6 hours! I ran out of daylight both times! This is the only GC that does have a course marshal to keep the pace of play reasonable. The have a course advisory that rides around the GC who doesn't care about slow play! I stopped playing here because of slow play! read more

Slow, slow, slow, slow...Ignoring the pace of play, this course is great for the price. The greens and fairways are in pretty good shape, and the layout should provide a little challenge for anyone. It's not terribly difficult, but there are some tough doglegs, especially on the back nine. Unfortunately, I cannot ignore the pace of play. We completed the front nine is 2 1/2 hours which is pretty good for a public course on a Saturday afternoon (6/26). The back nine was a nightmare and took over 3 1/2 hours. Apparently there was a bit of a mix-up with a group in front of us, but that still does not excuse the pace of play. If you are looking for a course away from the city with nice mountain views, it's worth the drive, just be aware that you are in for a slow round. read more

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a much more beautiful location for a golf course in WA. There are some holes where you'll just want to stand around and take in the view. I really enjoyed the course. It's nicely maintained, and though there are some areas under repair, it didn't take away from the round at all. Some holes are quite challenging, but most are easy enough. As far as pace of play goes, I've seen some Yelpers complain about rounds taking too long, but I didn't experience that. Teed off at 7 a.m. and was done with my round in 3 1/2 hours. Prices are decent on the course website, but I was able to book 18 holes + cart on GolfNow for $24. Will definitely be back! read more

I've been playing golf at Mount Si for many years and have always enjoyed Ron Lee and jeff at the front counter.Both of them are very friendly and aleays very pleasant. However one of the reasons i don't play there often is my experience with pace of play,4 1/2-5 Hr rounds are the norm.Yesterday my buddies and i played out there,mid morning round.On the 15th hole some Asswipe (Marshall) approached our group and said we needed to pick up our pace because we wouldn't finish in 4 Hrs????? WTF,Not only me but no one i know has ever heard of playing Mt Si in 4 Hrs.my whole group was caught off guard by this because the group behind us was never on our butts,in fact all day the we're at least a full whole behind us.We finished our round in 4 Hrs and 15 min and i called the pro shop to complain about the situation and got no support whatsoever. Needless to say this long time frequent customer will not be going back nor will my buddies.Totally unexceptable!!!! read more

This place will forever be nostalgic to me. Matt Campbell was my first instructor, and continued to be considered family to this day. He will be missed, but I know he left the course in great hands. I couldn't be more proud of the junior program that was developed over the last 20 years! This is a great course for all levels of play, and Im always amazed how fast a round can be even when the course is packed! read more

Played the course this morning. Tee time was early...6:45 AM. The pro said if you're ready go ahead. We did catch up with a 4 some around hole 5 and they let us through. We were a walking 2 some. We finished the front nine in 1.5 hours and the whole course under 3 hours. The greens were in great shape and so were the fairways. The par 5's just about killed me as I can't hit long enough and I didn't know which way to drive the ball. It was a fun day and you can almost use your driver on every hole except the par 3's. Green fee's were $30 without a cart. Easy to walk but there are some hills with tough sideway lies. Some of the par 3's are challenging but FUN! I really like the course and would return. I think I used every club in my bag except for a sand wedge. All the bunkers are filled with tall grass. It does get slow later in the day. Tee off early then go for breakfast. Have fun! read more

Played Mount Si for the first time on a weekday afternoon. The weather was clear and in the 70's - great views of the mountains. Overall this place is OK. Check-in was pretty standard. Paid $39 plus pull cart and small bucket turned out to be $47. Seemed average for what I consider to be a short municiple golf course that I would compare to Lynnwood GC in Edmonds, WA. I would have given this place 4 stars had it not been for the marshal's hovering over our group this entire time - more details further down. The Driving Range had decent mats and was large enough to spread out. The Pro Shop announced the groups which is hard to hear from the driving range - basically sounded like an adult speaking in a Charlie Brown cartoon. Guessing we were next to tee off, we headed over to the first tee were there wasn't a starter so we basically stood behind the next group hoping we weren't cutting in line. The 1st tee is right up against the pro shop so just tune out the sound of register and chatter. Once we were off (foursome) the group behind us (threesome) starting playing into us to pick up our play - not cool - then proceeding to complain to the marshal that we were slow. 3 out of the 4 in the group played ready-golf and were par/bogey golfers - the 4th was a different story. Needless to say the marshal hovered over us on every single hole and kept reminding us to pick it up - literally every hole after #3. Around the turn we let the threesome play thru on the 10th, where we then had a two-some clipping at our heels - again the marshal hammering us to speed up. He even timed us at 25 min on a par 5 and told us we should be playing 15min per hole. If I have my math right that means we should have played a 4.5 hr round....right? We finished the round in 5 hours. I am SO sorry we played 30 min longer than the expected time. The humanity! What a surprise that a threesome and twosome are catching up to us. The twosome was in a golf cart - sure you can play through - totally get it - I don't some marshal hounding me after every group 3 or less catches up and whines about a foursome playing slower than them! The marshals even mentioned they were splitting up foursomes to move along play. What kind of golf course is this?! As far as the conditions for the course. The greens were nice to putt on for a muni course. The rough was generously cut low enough to feel like you had a lie on the fairway. And there were not a lot of bunkers and one water hazard. Watch out for Holes 9 and 18. They run parallel to each other - the tee boxes are divided by shrubs and there is a thin tree line between the two all the way up to the greens which are relatively close. We experienced another group from the #9 driving their carts into the #18 fairway as I was teeing off. I almost took them out. So look out for a lot of crossover on 9 and 18. So my first impression was pay a little more than the average muni course rates, be sure you play 15 min per hole or shorter and watch out for hovering, time clocking marshals. read more

What a great find in Snoqualme. For the money you absolutely can't find a better spot. The views of Mt Si are spectacular and I thought the course was in very good condition. I liked the layout - nothing fancy, but the course is right in front of you. No trickery, no blind shots. Course only runs 6400 yards so you will not need driver often. There is no rough to speak of, so you will not be losing too many balls. Greens are a little slow, but I think that is perfectly acceptable at a public course. I also played at 6p in evening, so need to come back and see how they roll in the AM. I had a delicious IPA on the back deck after the round with a lovely view of Mt Si right from the deck. It could very well be the best value golf in the area. read more

Course is beautiful because of its surroundings but other than that...course itself is very average. The paths are super rough in the cart and edges are poorly maintained. Also weird that a majority of the sand traps have been left to grow over with grass. My biggest complaint, however, is how close together tee times are scheduled- every time I've played this course we've been backed up behind multiple groups which completely ruins the experience. read more
