Waiting on every shot, of every hole, from the beginning of the round. What's even the point of having a marshal?

Views are great. Course condition is average. Cost is very high for what you pay for. Pace of play is EXTREMELY slow. Staff is friendly EXCEPT for the elderly marshal driving around the course. My group waited ~10 minutes on the second hole, and subsequently waited on every single shot for the group ahead of us for the remainder of the round. On hole 10 or 11 the marshal accused my group of playing 1 hole behind pace of play, and that we needed to speed up. I told him we are waiting on every shot for the group ahead of us, so how can we go any faster? (see photo of me standing around, which was every shot of every hole ). He said that I was wrong and even doubled down and said he was watching us the entire round (this is a lie). I guess the marshal wanted us to hit up on the group ahead of us every single shot? Round took 5.5 hours; it unclear if the marshal was saying this same thing to every group of if he was singling us out for some reason. Regardless, he clearly did nothing to actually address the slow groups causing the rest of us to be behind a hole. Marshal must have woken on the wrong side of the bed and forgot his glasses at home. Overall, go play elsewhere else. You'll find better courses for the money, finish 1+ hours faster, and maybe interact with a marshal that actually enjoys their job

This course is one of my favorite public courses in the Greater Seattle area. If you're willing to drive a little East of Seattle, you'll be rewarded with 18 holes of nice mountain views and well maintained fairways and greens. I started playing here early in the spring of 2021 and have played the course close to 10 times since then. From the white tees, it's about 6,000 yards in length, but it's a very walkable course. From green to tee, each hole is only a couple yards from each other. You'll be able to finish 18 holes around 4 hours or 4 1/2 if you're a beginner. Several times I've finished under 4 hours on the weekdays when it's not so busy. During the winter times, the drainage on this course is very good. My most recent round was in the winter after a previous day of rain. The fairways that day were dry and not muddy and the ball flew 10-15 yards less than what I would normally hit in the summer. The views are also very nice if you're having a bad golf day. Hole #6 is their signature hole with an incredible view of Mt. Si in the background. During the winter, you can see the snow caps on top on clear days and the summit in the spring and summer. The only reason I gave this course 4-stars is the price. Greens fees can be as low as $35 if you play twilight, but on weekends, it could be as high as $60+ and you don't get a discount for playing in the colder months unlike other courses. It would be nice to get some relief on the price. Overall, Mt. Si is a fun track to play. If you're a beginner, it's good to play the front nine. Once you play it on a regular basis, it gets more fun once you start shooting lower scores and lose 0-2 balls per round. Give it a shot!

Amazing scenery, lovely design. Pace of play was a bit slow but I didn't mind as it was beautiful everywhere you looked. In my experience I did not see a cart option anywhere online. I'm not from the area so I was a bit worried I wouldn't get a cart. But I was assured they had plenty and they did. A friend of mine said because it rains so much carts can damage the course which made sense. All in all I loved this course. Lots of fun with the boys on this one!

Mt Si golf course is a great place for any level of golfer. Fun yet challenging. Staff are friendly and always helpful. The restaurant isn't bad either.

How beautiful is this course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I am a fan of all things golf. Not a hardcore golfer but I love golfing and I love driving ranges too. Especially with the ones that have stunning backdrops! Love love love! I was coming to my usual spot not too far from here but so glad I came here instead. That view of Mt Si cant be beat!!! The course itself is nicely maintained! Definitely a Challenging course for me!! The driving range area is good too. Better view from the course! They have a cafeteria style food area with starbucks and so on. Again, with the stunning Mt Si view! I'm a sucker for mountains!! Love! Will be back to play again! Oh yea! Farmers tan in 5 minutes! Watch out!!

Really nice course. A little pricey for me but I had a great time. The scenery was awesome and the play was normal pace.

Great golf course. The view of Mt. Si is endless. Really slow play and no point of playing through. Three of us and five hour round.

Nice size TV Pillow selection Very friendly and helpful staff Cons Price- at these prices the value is questionable when everything is not absolutely perfect. We splurged on Riverside room but not much view of the river lol Towels are thin and rough Need more than two wine glasses. Regular glass for water would be nice. No fitness room on site. Day pass to another gym was fine but would have preferred something at the lodge( again bc paying a lot of money)

What a difference 40 years makes…read more I was at the Salish Lodge on a business trip for a week in 1989, and it was one of the most lovely experiences I've ever had. By the end of the first day, every valet and front desk person knew all of us by name, and they bent over backward to be helpful and treat us like valued guests even though we were working an event and weren't the ones paying for the rooms. (Our company had bought out the entire lodge, which was much smaller at the time.) All the guest rooms at that time faced the river and had a beautiful view of it. Not so anymore, as they've renovated the lodge and many rooms have either no view or a view of trees (definitely beautiful) but not the river. The latter was our experience. There was a tiny glimpse to be had if you peered far off to the right, but otherwise our view was the trees. This was disappointing simply because we didn't know the place had been added on to and now had non-river view rooms. My husband, who had given me this trip as a Christmas present, was very disappointed and asked if there were any river view rooms available instead. Sure -- for $700. (No thanks.) We stayed in our $400+ tree view room instead, but honestly, this room is about $250 overpriced. For that price, one would expect everything to be in perfect condition, plus a large-ish room. Not the case in ours. It's smaller than the size of a standard La Quinta or Comfort Inn type of room, has no dresser or drawers to unpack your clothes (unless you remove the iron from the 6"x6" drawer it's stored in), and the "closet" is an IKEA-like unit in the entryway of the room. There's a fireplace, a TV, and a small desk, plus two chairs crammed into the corner, and a narrow balcony outside to listen to -- not see -- the river. The bathroom has a shower with two rain-style shower heads, so bring something to cover your hair if you don't want to drench it every time you shower. (The hotel doesn't provide shower caps -- only a small bottle of lotion and some Q-tips and a make-up removal wipe that doesn't remove makeup. It's just to keep you from getting it on the white towels.) As to the room's condition -- There are lamps on each side of the bed. Mine had a wonky switch that had to be jiggled just so in order to work. It's supposed to be dimmable, but mine was either on or off. There is also a reading light built into the headboard. Mine didn't work. Also, water was shooting out the side of one of the shower heads where it connects to the pipe in the wall. I did tell the front desk the next morning, and they offered to move us to another room. I didn't want to have to pack up all my stuff and move to another room that may have had less of a view than we already had, so I told them we were leaving for the day and asked that someone come in to fix the issues. They did, but about six hours after I put in the request, my husband received a text asking when it would be convenient for them to come in. Needless to say, communication between the staff isn't great. As of this writing (getting ready to check out on Day 4), now the fireplace isn't working. It stopped last nigh

This place is a joke - don't waste your time or money…read more We go in 2pm on a Saturday and no one is in the store, the older lady behind the counter doesn't even greet us. After we search for some sizes she final acknowledges us. Watching us dig through the pile for sizes she never assisted in getting sizing or asking if needed anything else. We did have 4 golf shirts and 6 T-shirt's. We go to check out and the sign behind the counter says "we honor cutter and buck coupons". We ask do you have any coupons, the lady stated I don't know but you can look. SO...I look and I find a 50% of sale items. I show her, she calls back to a manager LARRY - he then came out to see my coupon. I show him and he says "I haven't seen that, that must be online - I go through the link again and say NO it says at any CB store, he then ships at me "well we are an outlet". I told him how rude he was all he had to do was state "unfortunately I haven't seen that coupon and we are unable to honor it due to being an outlet" I proceeded to tell him I could walk out the door and not buy any of his clothes, he responded with and you go ahead and do that! I could have easily paid full price - however when you disrespect me I speak with my checkbook! You would have been better off to honor the coupon and have a $150 sale vs a $200 sale, instead NO SALE! Since my business is not important to him I will never step foot in here again and will tell everyone I know to stay away from a shop that doesn't care about customer service. Hey Larry - here is 4 tips for you: 1. Treat your customers the way you would want to be treated 2. Those of us who shop there pay your salary 3. Nicely say why you wouldn't accept the coupon OR 4. Honor it onetime and explain why in the future you can't being an outlet Oh and - change your sign - if you - in your words AREN'T CUTTER & BUCK change your sign to say so!
