That is a big deal to me as golf can really be frustrating if you're waiting around for slow playing groups in front of you. I quit golf for a while because slow play really took a good deal of fun out of the game. A nice fast paced round and a cold beverage afterwards is perfect for a day with friends. Honestly the course was in rather so-so condition but that didn't matter - it's not like we're playing for a championship. The very nice woman who checked us in had a good phrase. "We're not a country club - we're a club in the country". :) Go in with reasonable expectations and you'll have a good time.

The course itself is on the smaller side, resulting in shorter-than-average fairways for each hole. On busier days like weekends, these shorter distances lead to longer wait times and groups bunching up, causing a more rushed pace than usual. The cart pricing is also a bit odd, as they charge full price per person for each 9 holes. So, for a group of four using two carts, each golfer must pay the full cart price. Despite the unusual pricing, I feel like the course can be quite enjoyable and relaxing on non-peak days. But can't quite know it without experiencing the non-peak days. However, on busy days, it can become slow with no mitigation for longer periods between tee times.

Great customer service here. Many of the staff will go around in their carts to the different guests around the course, refilling drinks and providing snacks. I also like that they recognized frequent customers. The club itself was nice, and served as a great gathering space for our event. There's a bar area and many rooms to use for set-up, meetings rooms and/or conferences, and a banquet area. There was also a large back deck area that looked out to the course.
