History

Established in 1955.

Started in Saskatoon over 75 years ago by grandma Kay sewing draperies in her basement, the Blind Factory has gone through some amazing changes over time. Several years later, Kay's son Gerry brought his aptitude for machining and design to the business, and the Blind Factory started not only manufacturing blinds, but also made the machines and dies for making blinds. Now into it's third generation with grandson Ryan at the helm and his background in Electrical Engineering, the Blind Factory has been able to quickly adapt with the changing times.
