They accommodated all of our requests, we had asked for hot and honey sauce for the wings, and they were good with it. The wings were crispy, well sauced, large, and fresh! We also ordered calamari and the coconut shrimp, these two were pretty standard, but the wings, I really regretted not ordering two pounds, they were delicious! Our mains were salads. The Cobb was nice the chicken was cooked to perfection! The steak salad was also pretty good, nice cut of meat. What I really liked about this place was their choices of dressing, they let you know what dressings come with the salad, but give you the option to choose any of the dressings they offer. I can't wait to come back for our next visit. And the owner/chef came to check on us with food quality, and I thought this was just great! Our experience here was just delightful

Good coffee, full bar of course, tempting dessert list. Large servings at $16-18 per person. If you haven't been out yet, it is a bit weird at first... but it's good that it's weird. It means the business, like McGillicagey's, are doing all the right things to keep the community safe. Three cheers for sanitizers and masks! We visited the Petroglyphs and a small beach nearby, and on our way home we were pulled in by the quaintness of this lil' town. We put our name down for a table and wandered around the bridge/boardwalk area. They phoned us within 20 minutes and we returned to out big patio table out back. We were at least 2.5 metres from the nearest table. My bloody caesar and my husband's fish and chips were delicious! My pasta was not so great, but honestly, it's my fault for ordering pasta at a pub. It'd been a minute since I dined out so I didn't think it through. Bonus points for a wonderful kids menu, something for every type of picky wee one.

Next time I will know to book a reservation (because they are busy and for good reason). Luckily the amazing staff found us room at the bar to eat. The staff is so good at this place, everyone pitching in and working hard. Place is very good looking, dark decor which makes for a nice dinner ambiance. Now on to the food . We ordered the 2 specials. First was an appetizer, it was zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, covered in a spiced tomato sauce and delicious cheese. Sauce was so good we asked for some bread , which the waiter informed us is also made in house. For our main, we got the duck 2 ways breast braised and thinly cut, and then the quarter leg with a nice crispy skin. Vegetables were a locally sources rapini. Other main we had was one the waiter said was a popular one, which was a mushroom lasagna. That was really good, but be prepared this dish is very heavy. Really good value though and delicious. We couldn't not have dessert even though we were stuffed. The waiter recommended the apricot dessert which has a rum reduction, caramel and vanilla ice cream. This was delicious as well. Since we were sitting at the bar we watched all the care the bartenders put into their drinks. We got a mocktail and we got one of the specialty drinks. Presentation is nice and some of the drinks coming out of there . This place changes their menu frequently, creating beautiful dishes depending on what is in season. Great restaurant, which supports local and has great customer relations. We had a great experience and would definitely go and enjoy again
