Did not do a great job and claimed we didn't pay them for service. Would not recommend

I tried to set up an appointment to address my lawn care/plant needs. Danny assured me that someone would call on their way and be there by the end of the week. I called twice to confirm because I had not heard from anyone. I was told each time not to worry that someone would definitely make it out. I received an email the following week with an estimate. When I called to figure out the disconnect and why no one called when they were at my property, he told me that I should find another company. This was the second estimate I received from the Billygoat and was higher than the first. After our conversation I received a text message from Danny saying, "In my 15 years of service I've learned when you smell run the other way. So you proved me right. Have a good day." LACK OF PUNCTUALITY & FOLLOW THRU. Contacted them last Saturday. Danny returned my call & said he could come by Monday & would call me in the morning to tell me when he was coming. He did call, got my address, and never heard from him again despite texting him on Monday afternoon. Today is Wednesday. No word. The email I sent to them by way of website was also ignored.I won't know what quality of work they do, because a business who can't follow thru and keeps you waiting one whole day already sends red flags. read more

My wife called this business recommended by a neighbor close by. The agreement with Jason was that The Billy Goat crew was going to come out to mow the loan and nothing else. We also instructed Jason to not touch a vine we were growing up a "no dumping" sign the City installed in our swale. The crew that was sent did not just mow...they trimmed plants, trees, and shrubbery that we did NOT request. Furthermore, they DECIMATED the exact vine that we has asked Jason to stay away from. The crew also trimmed our ginger plants, snake plant, palm trees and our ivy...some of the EXACT things we had complained to Jason about as the reason why we had fired the previous lawn service. We just wanted the lawn mowed to start and we discussed doing special clean-up and landscaping projects down the road. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? Additionally, Jason's crew dumped on our neighbor's property what was leftover that they could not fit into the trailer to haul off... Now we have a problem with our neighbors across the street!!! We called Jason to complain about the service but he was nowhere to be found. He has not called back, and when we got a hold of Danny, who appears to be the owner, nothing happened. Needless to say, Jason did not dare to come collect payment for the job... Will never ever hired them again and we will not ever recommend them to anyone. read more

His pricing was very competitive and the stayed at the job until every was done to total perfection. good honest people are hard to find in Miami. She is there every step of the way and making sure she has the precise measurements, and there are no miscommunications on neither end of the project from the workers to me. She works with you if you have a budget or want to see the different price range of the plants she will send you various estimates. From the start and probably one of the reasons why I got my hedges was for privacy in the front yard, on the day of the installment of Clusia Hedges, there happened to be chaos coming from each neighbor trying to tell the workers what to do but Each worker handled everything in a Professional manner and continued with their original plan as agreed on; despite the neighbors on top of them. The installation of the Hedges we're finished the same day, and I couldn't have been much happy and at ease. I purchased Clusia guttifera, 7 gal., 3'6" - 4' over all, plant every 3' on center, plant along all three sides of front yard. These guys do an amazing job! read more

Paid for tree removal and got a huge rubbish pile and a fine! Hired company Jan 2020 to remove tree and workers damaged my property in the process and left a huge tree rubbish pile on my front yard. They quoted me for tree removal but stated after the fact I need to figure out how to get the tree trunk and rubbish removed from my property. I was also fined a substantial amount by the city due to the company completing the work without applying for the appropriate permits . As the subject matter experts in the tree removal process I expected more. They repaired the damaged property but only after I followed up and reported it. As for the fine the said sorry and now I'm out of 1600 bucks, still have the tree rubbish and a 500 dollar fine! I'm stuck now with this giant pile of rubbish still in my front yard 5 days after the removal I paid for! They advised me to pay the city an additional fee to haul it off. This is a unacceptable and major financial set back for me and as a single parent (financially devastating). VERY UNPLEASED. Veterans and Buyers Beware ! read more

Called this business that came highly recommended by friends. The first time I called and left my name for someone to come out for a quote they lost my information. Called a 2nd time was told Jason would be coming out to give me an estimate. Estimate day rolls around and Danny is the one that came out. Nice guy, seemed to know what he was talking about. Danny sent us 2 estimates for our small yard. They came in a little high but they also came highly recommended. A week after we recieve the estimates I call to speak to Danny and am told he's not there but they will have Jason call me. I'm still waiting for that call. In the meantime I've had another group come out for an estimate because I got tired of waiting for The Billy Goat. read more

Spent 36,000 for landscaping at new house. Within 4 months noticed much of it was slowly dying including the grass, bromeliads and mondo grass. One year later and I am having to replace almost all of the landscaping and soil under the landscaping. Not all of the landscaping died, but much of it did.
