Rented a Waterslide for a backyard birthday party (11am-3pm). Set up was done in a timely manner, we were instructed on how to use the slide and how far the water fill should be (seam level). Bald man setting up even confirmed that our party was from 11am-3pm. When the water slide was set up, we were told that they would be back at night for pick up. The guys showed up at 2:45pm, I happened to be outside, I said to them, wow you guys are early?!? I was approached with the excuse that they were checking to see how the slide was doing. I said come on in, thinking they would check and leave since they said pick up would be at night. They walked into the backyard with a large hand truck, bald man went straight to my hose and closed the water knob from my home to the hose, walked over to the slide, told us that the water line was too high, to which I advised that he pointed to a specific seam and not the sides, he did admit that he only pointed to one seam and apologized for being wrong, told us to tell the kids that are currently on the slide to get one last trip down since they needed to pack up. I told the bald man that they were early! He acted like he didn't know the time and asked what time is it? I said, 2:53pm and politely asked if they could please leave the party and wait outside to which I will call them at 3pm when the party was scheduled to be over. All of this happened while the party was still going on, party guests were stunned at the behavior and unprofessionalism. At exactly 3pm, I personally went outside and went to get them, I thought this was very unprofessional and will not be renting anything from this company again or referring anyone to them. Amazing bounce house, but usually most places you rent they don't ask the actual length of your party and show up at the end of your party to take everything. So unfortunately my kids party ran a little longer because of the nice day and come to pick everything up within 5 hrs of drop off. I've never had this happen with any other company. read more

During my entire adult life, I have never experienced such awful, rude, and negligent customer service as I did from the individuals at the Big Bounce Theory. For my daughter Nancy's 8th Birthday party, I contacted the Big Bounce Theory to set up a waterslide to entertain my guests. At first, I was surprised by how efficient the Big Bounce Workers were- as my waterslide was set up in no time at all! However, right before they finished, the attitude of the Big Bounce Theory changed- for the worst. The Big Bounce Theory began to remark about how unattractive my pet dog, Willis, was. Although he is a dog, he had cataract surgery as he was near-sighted. The workers started looking at my dog, calling it "dumb" and "annoying." The worker said I should look into getting it put down (permanently, I might add). This was shocking, but I could put up with the attacks for my daughters happiness. Then, as the kids arrived, I saw The Big Bounce Theory untie the rope to the stake in the ground, and the waterslide flew away! With 10 kids on it! While the parents were screaming, the workers were rolling around in the grass, dying laughing! I prayed to God for the safety of these children and luckily, nearly 30 minutes later, the waterslide safely touched down on the ground. The workers did not even care that the children were in the atmosphere during this time, instead they even went ahead and called an Animal service to put down my dear Willis. Thankfully, the animal service they called specialized in putting Geese down, and they didn't know how to kill a dog. I was very fortunate on this front. In the end, the Big Bounce Theory were a group of smug and rude individuals, who really should be renamed. I say we call them, "The Big Meanie Theory." read more

I just had the unfortunate chance of being at a charity bingo/raffle night that this company was Mcing for. The guy who was calling the Bingo numbers, should never dovany bingo event unless you want to be insulted and listen to a guy who has no clue on how to run a bingo game or be a decent human. 1) He needs to go to sensitivity training, or at least learn how to read an audience. He started off with bad dad jokes, ok annoying but acceptable, then he got rolling, he ended up insulting, non-native English speakers, people/kids with special needs, heavy set people, people with diabetes, blue color workers, specifically lunch ladies. People who had accents and odd sounding voices (he should listen to his own voice). Picked on people in their elder years, which was half the room, in a very crass way, not funny at all. Made fun of the prizes, people who won them and was just a plain jerk about some of them. 2) He also needs to learn how to read/call numbers, he made 2 mistakes (that were heard, caught) on calling Bingo numbers, first time he called a number twice and didn't call the game to redo, (nobody had won at that point) and just continued on. Then on another game when one person won a prize (a tv), and the guy and his assistant were checking the numbers, he said that he didn't call a certain number, the person who thought she won, was about to walk away thinking they made a mistake, but more than half the room called out and saying yes he did call out that number as they too had marked it off, at first he kept saying he didn't call it, said ball was still in the pit, but all the people (guests) kept telling him he did, he finally gave in. But kept poking fun at the misread number and made rude comments that you could just go to Walmart and by the tv, which is true, but we were there to support the CHARITY!!!! So either he was cheating or just can't read. He should also learn what Bingo rounds are called and not ridicule the person telling him the right name of a round of how to win that Bingo game. He proceeded to call out and pick on that person for the rest of the night. He was relentless, i think by the end of the night most everyone wanted to tell this guy to shut %#$& up, at the very least. He was rude, insensitive and he needs to take sensitivity classes because, one day, he is going to insult/pick on or make fun of the wrong person and he is either going get sued for sexual harassment, bigoted hate speech or they may just plain old hurt him. There is a time and place for his kind of jokes and humor, working a charity bingo game is not it. So if you want crass, be insulted, your clients/ guests picked on, use this company, BUT if you want a nice enjoyable time, this is not it. This is just MY opinion, we are all adults and can make our own choices. read more

Oh my god! I cannot even begin to describe how amazing my party was! Turning 50 is momentous and everything this company provided exceeded my expectations. The games were fantastic. Even though they were games from "my day" they were in excellent condition. They got use throughout the entire party. The photo booth was top notch with tons of fun props and a friendly attendant. The LED lighting created exactly the mood I wanted for my friends and family. The DJ kept everything upbeat. The photographer was great; seeing the pics of people enjoying themselves up on the screens was amazing. I cannot recommend The Big Bounce Theory highly enough. Working with Abe was a pleasure. You are in good hands with him and he will go to whatever lengths necessary to ensure you and your guests have a great time. read more

This is my first review of anything. I don't want what happened to me and my 7 year old daughter to happen to anyone else from this company. They forgot our party scheduled for 8/15/2017. I kid you not. We were told our waterslide would arrive in between 10-12pm. I have a signed contract set up prior, left a 100.00 deposit, etc. all was good except they never showed up. I called frantically at 11:50am and they at first said they didn't see us on the schedule and would have to call me back.. it's after 12 at this point and guests will be showing up soon. He didn't call back so I called him back within 5 min... all of a sudden his story completely changed and said since it was drizzling, maybe even rain later in the day that they cannot deliver the waterslide and called me repeatedly to tell me this... I received no phone calls - they ended up having the wrong cell phone number BUT correct email. I didn't receive an email from them. I was frantic and my daughter was crying thinking her party had to be canceled. Their contract says just the opposite that they will NOT refund you because of drizzling and possibly rain- obviously, this was his story he came up with quickly because they FORGOT my party that day and didn't want to admit that to me. I would have respected him more if he just did that honestly. Everyone makes mistakes- but don't lie to me and try and play me for a fool with your story of drizzle/ rain effecting delivery of a waterslide!!!! My husband and I then frantically scrambled to get another company to save our daughters party and we were ultimately successful and very lucky to be able to get someone so last minute. No mention of weather issues with it raining which it ultimately did with this other company !!! That's ironic isn't it ??? The 7 year olds didn't care about the intermittent drizzle on a waterslide anyway and either did this other company!!! Save yourself some tears and stress and DO NOT book w/ The Big Bounce Theory. By the way- I saved myself 200 dollars as well. Big Bounce Theory was charging me 700.00 incl. tax, the other company - 500.00 tax incl. same slide! unbelievable ! read more

Big Bounce Theory has a very professional staff! They were extremely punctual with setting up the Gaga pit. There staff explained the rules of the game and were very kid friendly. The equipment was clean and in good condition. They ran all the games and made it fun and safe for all the kids to enjoy. When planning this event for our kids the owner was very responsive and did a great job providing all the information that we needed to plan for our Gaga party. We had my daughter's 10th birthday party at our home in Nassau County yesterday. We rented a bounce house and the Radical Run from Big Bounce Theory, as well as some tables. What a wonderful company to work with! Abe (the owner) was a pleasure to work with and helped me figure out what I could fit on my property after asking for some measurements and photos. He even took the time to go on Google Maps to check things out. The Radical Run was such a big hit! Is is an obstacle course but you enter and exit from the same side (it loops around) and it ends in a big slide. Most obstacle courses are so long but this one fit great on my not too large property and the kids just loved it!! The inflatables were so clean. They looked brand new. Clearly these are well maintained and not coming from someone's moldy garage. It was a windy day, so Abe had his guys stay at my home just in case it got too windy to be safe. They guys were were very pleasant and helpful and great to have around. He did not charge me to have them stay, just decided to do it in the name of safety. This is a very professional company and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. read more
