Not only do you get treated by amazing staff, who know so much about their products, and can help you find exactly what you're looking for, but the space is so clean and well organized. I have fallen in love with some products for my home kitchen that this place introduced me to, like lemon olive oil, and honey from Italy that I always stock my pantry with now. Was able to make a home charcuterie with almost everything exclusively from Better Cheddar. Do not sleep on the soft cheese section or the crackers! Top off your parties and plates with all the delicious nuts, jams, and fruits! I could spend hours in this store.

Really amazing selection of everything. Expensive but if you are looking to splurge on quality this is one of my favorites!

Love coming here for a huge selection of cheeses, wines, condiments and so much more!! Every time I come in, I like to stock up for charcuteries because it's my go-to potluck contribution to any dinner party. This is definitely a one stop charcuterie source!

Whatever your "cheddar" is, it will be better by a visit to The Better Cheddar. I LOVE this place. Talk about my veritable smorgasbord, orgasboard. After my visit, I was singing Templeton's anthem (Remember that pack-rat from Charlotte's web?)! When the lights go out It can be found, on the ground, and all around That's where a rat (or person in my case) can glut From imported "everything" to cheeses that will give your taste-buds a serious churning, Better Cheddar offers up so many gourmet delicacies, it's hard to leave. Basically, I was forced to. What's interesting to me is the story behind this place. And you know what? That's really how it is with great, local establishments. They seemingly exude this vibe of warmth and passion. But it's usually after the fact and a visit that most of us will dig deeper and find there's often a great story to accompany it. Hence, why the shop is so damn good to begin with. So what's the scoop? Guy purchases a small cheese and sandwhich shop in the Midwest with a desire to bring gourmet food items home. How's it end? Better Cheddar now has two locations and has been recognized as a Top 5 Specialty Food Retailer in the country. If Swiss Gruyere and soda called Jack Black's Blood Red doesn't start your engines cranking then get some cables or something because you will not be disappointed by this place. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it's an iconic place for foodies and those who want alternative choices and quality stuff that will have you throwing out your Velveeta and Oreos. The assortment is as outstanding as the service. I don't know if I've come across a shop as great as this in awhile. I'm just excited to share the information. I'd say what to buy, but really, you just cannot go wrong with a purchase. More often that not, you'll probably be picking up something completely new for the first time to add another notch onto that palate of yours. Why am I still talking? Why are you still reading?!

Wow, Jeremy's review I think says it all. Having worked in the Specialty Food industry, this store does deserve the NASFT (National Association of the Specialty Food Trade) honor of being one of the Top 5 Specialty Food Retailers in the US. I recognized so many brands including chocolatiers, cheesemakers, pasta gurus, and gourmet condiments. The thing is, they're not the best of the best. Sure, they're high quality, but they're also not knock your socks off. Though the appeal of the products they carry is sensation, not taste. The cheese products however, are great. For the quality and freshness the Better Cheddar provides, you can't get any better. So go ahead and indulge in $20 chunk of cheese, the sales people are more than willing to help. There is great customer service at this location, with of course, some knowing more product knowledge than others.

Tons of free samples which is awesome!!! There are so many cheeses it would be too hard to pick without trying! They also have really cool things to go with the cheese to give for gifts and stuff. We ate lunch there and the sandwich was good, but I got the Gouda sandwich and wished I would've got something with meat on it. The Gouda was good, but it's a cheese I don't want to eat a ton of and there is a lot on the sandwich. I look forward to trying one of their turkey sandwiches!

My children love coming here and seeing all the nostalgic candy from their parent's childhood and even their own. This is a great store if you have someone that's hard to shop for. They had a sour patch kids flavor drink we had to try. We hadn't seen it anywhere else before. One thing about candy shops, they normally have center displays with chewy candies you can buy by the weight. This allows you to try a bunch of different things in one place. This is the option we went with in addition to the sour patch kids soda. The layout is nice and they really do have options I haven't seen other places. The decor pops and it inviting. Everything is clean and seems well taken care of. The employee was very helpful, a little too much since he kept asking us if we had questions, but we were the only patrons in the store. Overall, it was a more unique shop then some of the stores you might shop in, but still commercialized. If you like candy though, its definitely worth a try. Oh.. and the sour patch kids soda was waaaaaay to sweet. It wasn't sour at all. I thought it would be more like flavored lemonade with a sour punch, but that's not a comment on the shop itself.

I love a lot of spots around the metro, but let's be honest, some of them get crazy busy and you end up waiting in line for a while. That's not a dealbreaker, but with a summer of social distancing, it's nice to have a spot like Annedore's that is tucked into the neighborhoods, has outdoor seating, and is never too busy. Their gelato is so good, and the service is friendly as it gets. We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough for gelato, macarons, and of course chocolate if that's your thing. Want to skip lines for ice cream (well, gelato) this summer and still support local? This is your spot. Bookmark it!

Around this time of year, the company's major product is its famous chocolate marshmallow eggs. Marshmallow eggs are okay, but chocolate and caramel is even better. RS's Milk Chocolate Caramel Rabbit is available in 3oz and 7oz sizes. Even though this was my first time having it, I opted for the larger as it was 50% off. The biggest unknown for me was if the caramel filling would be distributed throughout the entire chocolate rabbit or just in the girthier body. Taking a big bite out of the ears, I was delighted to see that even the thinner head and ears contained caramel (just not as much). As far as the consistency of the filling goes, it's more liquid than solid and can be a little runny. The flavor of the milk chocolate and caramel filling is fine, but nothing to get too excited about. I still prefer a Cadbury Caramello, but for the price, RS is a good deal. Doughboy approved.
