Likely your flight was delayed, or cancelled (shout out British Airways!), or you make bad life choices. But whatever brought you here - you want a drink. Cool! Get ready to wait forever. Even if you're seated at the bar, unless you set yourself ablaze, they're not looking at you. Fare well. But if you want food, the good news is now you're out money, and get to stare at the clock for the impending food poisoning. Flavorless, cooked oddly, and not worth any money - let alone what you paid. Wheeeeee!

Everything on the plate was surprisingly enjoyable. The only mistake I made was ordering loose tea. This tea was served in a way that could not be steeped properly with some metal contraption that you set over your cup rather than inside the actual teapot. I had to fill my cup to the rim and it made a mess. My tea also did not stay hot this way, and got cold quickly. Order the tea bag people. I love loose tea but the hassle wasn't worth it. Other than that, everything was great including the service.

Surprisingly good. I had a cappuccino and the full English Breakfast. The coffee was perfectly prepared. All lovely, quality deliciousness AND all for only 20 quid. No negatives whatsoever.

The poached eggs turned out just right, and we both truly enjoyed their lovely texture. The smashed avocado in the healthy breakfast was so indulgent that it's going to stay on my mind for quite a while. My partner really loved his breakfast and finished the whole dish in no time. While the food was served swiftly, our waitress forgot a few of our drink orders, and we were a bit too tired to remind her after our meal.

After several moments of being ignored by the bar staff, a server finally showed up and asked me did I had been served yet. I said no and ordered. A glass of wine soon followed, as did a wonderful appetizer of smoked mackerel pate -- genuinely terrific. From there, with my glass of wine dwindling,I probably waited another 30 minutes for anyone to appear. Finally, I made eye contact with another server, who said something to another, who then left for the kitchen. Another 15 minutes later, a server left my main with me, but didn't stop to ask if would like anything else. The main of roast cod was cooked absolutely perfectly; it was wonderful. Finally, though, 15 minutes after I was finished, I needed to ask someone to come over, and eventually I received my bill. The food was great here, but the service was so poor and inhospitable I doubt that I will return or recommend it to anyone else.

We were taking the Caledonian Sleeper train from Euston Station and needed somewhere to grab a bite…read morebefore we took off. Since we were leaving on a Sunday night, it was difficult to find restaurants within the station that was open past 6:30pm. Hence we ended up at The Signal Box. It's a pub style restaurant with bites and drinks. Part of it was a bar section and the other side had more booth and short table seating. The service we noticed right away was a bit spotty. We were standing for a good amount of minutes and it was difficult to flag waiters down to ask if we needed to be assigned a table or sit where there were spots available. Eventually we just went up to the bar to let them know we were going to sit at the high tops across from the bar. The bar staff said that they would send a waitress, but then again that took some time. Even flagging someone for the bill took a while and eventually one of us just went to the bar to request it. The food definitely saved the experience. The menu has a lot of classic pub dishes, small bites, sandwiches and sweet options as well. I decided to opt for the Fuller's London Pride, steak & mushroom short crust pie with mash, greens and a red wine gravy. The meat pie hit the spot with the tender chunks of steak pieces in the complimentary mushroom gravy on the inside. The filling was a perfect match to the mash. Overall the food was good, but service need well more needed improvement.
