I was visiting friends who live local and they brought me to this restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast is every Sunday 8a-11a for $7 a person. This is one of the more popular "biker bars" in Murrells Inlet. If you ride, especially if you are here for bike week, you will stop here. There is indoor and outdoor seating, including lots of rocking chairs out front for bike and people watching. The food will surprise you, it is pretty good! They have specials like "all you can eat" flounder Wednesday. They also have shrimp and oyster specials. One of the specials we try to attend often is the sunday all you can eat breakfast buffet. For $5 its a great deal but more importantly, all the money goes to a local charity. Today it went to a local family in need in which the mother of three is battling cancer. The staff is friendly and nice despite having to keep up with the crowds. Especially during bike week! It is a must stop if you are a biker or want to check out the lifestyle. read more

I have been here a number of times for Sunday morning brunch, as I had been invited by an acquaintance. She knew many locals she was willing to introduce me to. I am not intimidated by going to a biker bar, although this may have been my first. Between 9 and 12 noon, a buffet breakfast is available on Sundays. Upon entrance, you are met by a burly man with foam plates. You are asked to pay $5.00 and then are handed a plate. As you walk through the bar, towards the buffet, many friendly strangers say hello, smile and make small talk. At the buffet table there are several crock pots, one filled with scrambled eggs, one with grits, another with oatmeal, etc., and there are aluminum pans filled with bacon, sausage, pancakes and the like. Also on the table were some Krispy Kreme donuts. Once you fill your plate, help yourself to a small styrofoam cup of coffee, from a large urn. Milk and several flavored Coffee Mate containers and sweeteners are available. If you would like juice, you need to pay the bartender separately, as it is not included. The staff and customers were all polite and friendly. The scrambled eggs were very dry, and the best pancakes were the ones that were freshly delivered from the kitchen. This is a local hangout, most people come to congregate, many with their families. I had a good time, but could have done without the food. read more

The Beaver Bar is great! I went there for the last few days of Mustang Week & wound up here every night. The drinks were super cheap (I spent $60 on 16 drinks) especially for being in Myrtle Beach. The service was awesome too & even when the bar got super packed, drinks took at most 3 min. Also, Mama Beaver (the owner) made a special exception for burnouts so they could enjoy their last night in SC. I highly suggest the Beaver Bar if you're looking for a laidback biker bar! read more

The Beaver Bar has 2 locations in the area, both 1/8 mile of eachother. they also have a location in Florida now too. but this bar/resturant has some very friendly staff and great drink and food prices. ..its very biker friendsly during spring and fall bike weeks and also during daytona bike week as well. If you stop by the beaver bar you will have a great time, there is allways some great bands playing there and other entertainment as well!!! read more

This review is for The "Little" Beaver Bar, not The Beaver Bar County Line, which is about 1/2 mile away... Another of our favorite stops during MBBW. The Little Beaver Bar looks like it's about to fall down, but it's been there for 16 years, right next door to Suck Bang Blow Original. During Bike Week, it's better to park your bike across the street at the gas station or next door, since they have limited parking...or get there really early. We learned a trick over the years, they charge $2/bottle for icy cold beer, whereas SBB charges $3. So you walk 20 feet, save a buck then go back to the roof of SBB and enjoy the show. To be perfectly honest, we've never eaten there, but their menu has the full list of pub grub and sammys, so if you are adventurous, give them a try. Also, if you have a chance, read the story of "Mama Beaver", Leslye Lanier Beaver...a wonderful woman to be sure. read more

Staff were great. Experience not so much. Though we visited during the beginning of Myrtle bike week - I've tried to be understanding for this review. My table sat for nearly an hour. We ordered drinks, waited patiently for our food. We were hot, and hungry. The server came back around and let us know that our food had not yet been started. Not once did she come up and give us that info before hand, and then told us they were trying to knock out smaller tickets before ours which was larger. We sat there waiting on food that never came and had never even been started. Disappointing. Probably a great place when it isn't busy, definitely blew it for us though. read more

I went on Friday, June 27 around 7 p.m. for team trivia for a friend's birthday. I ordered a quesadilla which was okay. My friend warned me that the food there wasn't that great, as he did the other guests, and one girl even had to take a Tums at the table after she ate what she ordered. I noticed my quesadilla smelled vaguely of fish so I don't know if it was cooked separately from other seafood items. The drinks were pretty solid, though, which made up for the "meh" food. Also, our server was bad. She wasn't rude or anything, but for the few hours we were there in the decidedly not busy bar she only check on us a handful of times. In fact, she never took the payment of the guy sitting next to me in our party and one of my friends, the girl who took the Tums, had to get up and walk it over to the servers station. read more

Well I don't drink And I don't smoke so I usually don't have a reason to go to bars. But I live about three miles from this bar and heard good things about their Sunday 5.00 Breakfast Buffet from 9 to 12 that donates the profits to help people in our area that may be in need. There was plenty of food To pick from also served with coffee , tea or juice . I mean you wait on yourself with the plate you are given when you walk in an pay. So if you want fancy atmosphere this is a biker bar and of course there may be some unusual looking characters . But that fancy Harley they rode in on with all that Crome probably did cost more then your house . My daughter has an engineering degree and a masters degree in business and rides a Fat Boy Harley. So for all you know that ruff looking rider might be a millionaire ! With that thought in mind I ate breakfast and came back another time for their seafood platter which was about 12.00 and did eat alone both times. The layout is cool because you can be outside listening to live music , inside hanging out or on the other side there's an outdoor bar where you can get away from the crowd and hang out .
