I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Lauren. She was too busy worrying about that she was going to order for lunch to notice that she Over processed the hair around my face and my bottom layer of hair, which is now broken off, but seemed to under process the other hair on my head somehow--it's brassy as hell. And for the love of god don't let her touch your lashes. She completely ruined my natural lashes with her crappy lash lift(who trained you?!). I had to have them redone PROFESSIONALLY by someone else. I cried and cried when I got home from the salon. Not to mention the facility itself is quite run down and smells of musk and mold. Please save yourself some time and money and go to someone who cares about the integrity of their work. read more

I had just moved to Arkansas and was recommended to a local salon in morrilton. Debbie's hair affair. Unfortunately the Debbie doesn't work there anymore I had been told to see and a chatty girl named dawn or Donna maybe did my hair while her friends hung out and she had to stop constantly to check her phone. No interest to the customer because she had company visiting her at work?! I got home and the cut looked horrible and the color was even worse! Thankfully I found the beauty bar and they got me in as soon as they could to fix my mess. Lesson learned!! Won't go anywhere else now! read more

History

Established in 2015.

Owner Lauren Cook started The Beauty Bar in June 2015, working 6 days a week and selling T-Shirts while she searched for her dream team. After about 6 months, the team began to grow and it hasn’t stopped since. In April 2017, she opened a second location in an effort to secure a space to offer more services. In March 2018, after months of remodeling to create the perfect workspace, she consolidated the two locations into a single 2800 square foot space and all 12 stylists under the same roof.

Meet the Business Owner: Lauren C.

The owner is a Cosmetologist and considers herself an equal to all other stylists she employs. Never one to boast, she prefers to be called the “landlady” rather than the “boss”. Growing up in a small town and beginning her career in customer service and retail at the young age of 14, Lauren always knew she wanted to be a business owner. She began her career as a Cosmetologist in December 2008 and opened Conway’s The Beauty Bar in 2015. She is a police wife and a mommy of 2 boys and a mini schnauzer.

I will definitely be coming back to the Hair Co. Any other time I want anything don't to my hair! Ps. On a side note when looking up hair salons Athena's seems to get really great reviews. But. I though the place looked unprofessional and the lady was rude to me because apparently "no one would do my hair at 3pm since everyone would be closed or busy" which included her. Idk. I'm glad I ended up at Hair Co. They are AAAMMMAAZING. So go here :)
