The entire time I'm being service my nail tech and several other techs (4 to be exact) proceeds to laugh and play. A lady sitting beside me expressed her frustrations. She stated she normally was a really good tipper but would not tip today and suggested I do the same. The techs was very rude and dismissive. I will say she did scrub my feet a little too hard, and I can see and feel the scrapes on my heel from the buffer. I do tend to walk barefoot a lot, so I can understand her seeing the need to scrub away. So the reason for the 3 stars is the polish. It looks cheap. It just looks thick and gunky on my nail, and it chipped 3 days later. Not a baby chip. A big chip. And cheap nail polish tends to do that. With a pedicure, I generally expect a solid 10-14 days with no chips, not just three days. So service was good, salon was as to be expected, but need a higher quality polish.

During the pedicure, I clearly asked for an overlay on my big toes and explained exactly why I wanted it. The nail tech refused and decided he knew better, even after I explained my reasoning. Then, when it was time to polish, he told me my toes weren't "square enough" for French--again, the exact issue I tried to fix by requesting the overlay. Instead of listening, he painted them white anyway. Only after noticing I was irritated did he offer to redo it, but by then the damage was done. At that point, I canceled my full set because I was already annoyed and felt completely ignored. I also didn't feel comfortable expressing my frustration the way I wanted to without being negatively perceived, which made the situation even worse. The front desk offered to start over, but I had already been there over an hour and had to go to work. Despite the poor service and wasted time, they still charged full price. This experience wasn't relaxing--it was frustrating and honestly disappointing. I felt dismissed, unheard, and like my preferences didn't matter at all. I know my own nails, and I shouldn't have to argue to get a basic service done the way I requested. They later offered a small refund for the polish, but that doesn't fix the experience.
