I've reviewed her before, but long story short -- there are only about a billion good things to say. Headwaves has a model where each stylist has a little station within the salon, and they manage their own schedules and are generally more independent than at other salons. I personally love that model, because the service you get feels more personal. It's definitely a lot quieter and less busy than a lot of other salons that are open-plan layouts, so if you love that, this is the place for you! I love knowing that everything I pay for at the end of my visit goes directly to my stylist. I've been with Lindsey for years, all through college and now grad school, and even though I live in Dallas, I only schedule hair appointments when I know I'll be home in Little Rock. I've followed her to this new salon, and I would follow her anywhere! She's so good at knowing what I prefer, what looks good on me, what products are best for my hair, etc. We do cut and color almost every time, and I think she does a great job at balancing trying new things so I don't fall into a rut with my hair, while still keeping the basics strong. She's also great at helping me find products that work well and are worth their price tag. I would LOVE if she decided to relocate to Dallas, but for now, I'll keep making the 5 hour drive.

I had a bad customer service at the beginning and a bad experience with the stylist which resulted in a disaster and at this point the stylist would not listen to what I wanted and instead did what they wanted which resulted in a really bad haircut. I walked in on a limb at salon karizma worried about my hair and I was very nervous and was trying to figure out if it was able to even be fixed. A gentleman came up to me and introduced himself as Brantamas, he had taken me back to his chair and consulted with me about my hair. I had explained to him about where I had been before and about the horrible job that had just taken place he replied that " I could correct it." I had a full consultation with him as he was cutting my hair, he assured me that he would be able to correct the haircut as he listened to everything I said. As he went on to correct the haircut he made me feel very relaxed and at ease. As he was doing the haircut he explained to me what he was doing and it made me assured that he knew what he was doing, not only did he tell me about how and why he was cutting me hair, he took the extra time to show me how to style my hair as well. I would recommend Brantamas at salon karizma to all of my friends, family, and everyone that is looking for a fabulous hairstylist and for the outstanding service that I was provided with.
