My husband had scheduled a massage as a gift for that afternoon. This was probably the worst experience I have had. The therapist was poor in her execution, style and even manner. Before my treatment even started she mentioned an up charge for deep tissue. During my treatment she burped two times and her massage was far from relaxing her massage etiquette as a therapist was poor and as it was my birthday it sort of ruined my whole experience there, which was a shame. I did reach out to the B&B and provided my feedback, was told the spa manager (Tanya) would reach out but she never did. Heard back from the B&B manager and she told me the owner would give me a $50 dollar credit to my treatment the next time! We live almost two hours away so will not be planning on using that any time soon. To be honest after that experience I would not go back to the spa. The b&b was lovely the massage experience not so.

Title: A Blissful Retreat at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa…read more Rating: (5/5) My partner and I recently enjoyed a two-day stay at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the impeccable service and breathtaking surroundings left us utterly enchanted. Firstly, I must commend Alex, the multi-talented front desk manager and concierge. Her warm welcome and exceptional hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Alex not only ensured a smooth check-in but also provided us with valuable information about the resort and nearby attractions. Her dedication to making our stay memorable was truly impressive. Our mornings were filled with culinary delights thanks to the talented chefs, Michael and Linda. There are always 2 courses, and they typically feature some local produce and meats. Michael's breakfast creations on day one were a delightful surprise, with flavors that danced on our taste buds, especially the sausage! Linda, the breakfast chef on day two, continued the culinary excellence with a delectable breakfast that left us craving for more. The eggs with asparagus were amazing and I am super picky about my eggs. Rebecca, the waitress, deserves a special mention for her attentive and friendly service during our meals. She made dining a pleasure, always ready with a smile and quick to accommodate any request. Carla, the kitchen helper, and Cassidy, another member of the front desk and concierge team, contributed to the overall smooth operation of the inn. Their dedication behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and it's evident that the entire staff at Lucille's is a well-oiled machine. Desserts are also served in the evening and the guests serve themselves and typically joined in the common areas, reading, chatting or playing one of the several board games available. It was delightful way to unwind. The highlight of our stay was the couples massage at the spa, a truly rejuvenating experience. The spa staff exhibited professionalism and skill, creating a tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and connect on a deeper level. Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa is a place where luxury meets nature, and where every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The stunning mountain views, the impeccable service, and the attention to detail make this an oasis of relaxation and romance. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the mountains. Thank you, Lucille's, for making our stay unforgettable.

We were a party of 6 for the Thanksgiving dinner 2025. With new owners as of three or so months…read morepreviously, this was my LAST dining experience here. It was a buffet style meal. I expected turkey but they only served small thin slices of turkey breast (with giblet gravy - no traditional gravy available) and some kind of baked ham (mostly in chunky pieces) in a cabbage broth (a dish of sweet dark looking sauce available). The appetizer/salad/soup options: big bowl of mostly frissee lettuce w/ grape tomatoes, shaved carrots with a gross thick sauce of balsamic vinaigrette. There were trays of: baked root veggies, sweet potato pone, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The rolls were industrial like (white rolls out of a bag) not the homemade fresh baked breads I've had here before. There were bowls of Smoked CHOPPED salmon (why would anyone chop up smoked salmon?) and trout with a tzatziki sauce (not a dip) was not what one would expect. The best part of the whole meal was the butternut squash bisque. The dessert option that I chose was a small wedge of flour chocolate ganache torte. It was dry and the topping was very thin. There was fresh made whipped cream but the buffet table (overall) was not well maintained. The table service was subpar. We had plates sitting on our table for long periods of time and would have liked to have more visits by the waitress for more pours of coffee. The wine selection is not what it used to be. My Oregon Pinot Gris was served in a stumpy Chardonnay glass (ugh). For the price of this meal....we should have been treated right and fed a phenomenal holiday meal. My father and mother had experienced at least two Thanksgiving meals at Glen-Ella in recent years and raved about how good it was, which was why he shelled out the money to take me and invite friends to eat there this past Thanksgiving. The worst part was the response of the wife (Michelle) of the husband/wife owners who replied to my email whereby I described the above meal/service and the excuses I got, contradicting statements I made as if she was there and witnessed what me, my dad and our fellow diners experienced, giving excuses for such poor service and food selections. She did say the next time we return to let her know. We're not going to risk another poor and expensive experience. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Update.....it doesn't surprise me that Michelle replied the way she did to my review. I can tell you that most people who are disappointed with food/service do NOT write reviews either on Yelp! or other review sites. But you, as a discerning buyer, can look at other reviews and see when things change for the better or worse. Buyer beware.

The lady in charge, Joyce, was as sweet as can be. I don't eat a certain type of meat and let her know so its kept out of my breakfast, but instead of just removing it, she went out and bought another kind so I can eat it! It was so beyond expectations! The room was also beautiful and the bed was really really comfortable. In fact, I'm looking to replace my mattress to one like that! Also, the wrap around back porch was soooo peaceful... I woke up early one morning and just sat out there with coffee... it was wonderful. Finally, we were able to hang out at the B&B, but also visit local places like the outlet mall and Athens. It was a great anniversary vacation! We booked a date ahead of time that turned out to be right after the late January ice storm. The inn called to confirm our visit or to offer a refund with no penalty. "We are comIng" and so they were ready. We were the only guest, however, which was great, because we had the run of the place, but odd because from 9PM until 5;00 AM or thereabouts we were the only people in the inn. But happy hour went on nevertheless, beforehand, and dinner was cathead biscuits, local pecan encrusted pan seared trout, and other local delicacies. We felt so special! Our room was very nice, however, if you happen to be here during or after an ice storm, don't get a room adjacent to the main road. The power company did a great job clearing roads and restoring lines and such, but they get an early start and are big and loud rolling down the main cross street at very early AM times, and we are early risers. Just saying, a very, very lovely stay, but get a back room if an ice storm has just rolled through. Definitely will return!
