Its good as a set deal - one price for 2 venues - and good if you're on a night out in a group and have different music tastes.

We nearly always go to Berties in fancy dress and this time was no exception. The music was good, the club was packed and every one had a really good time, including the members of the group who had never been to newquay or this club before. I would recommend this club to any one, be it locals, holiday makers or people looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely be going back again, at least until we are too old!

In the busy summer season it is often too crowded and there is not enough space to dance, other times of year it is usually one of the busier places to go out so is worth a visit. For the brave (or the stupid!) there is a small podium above the dancefloor with a ladder leading up to a trapdoor. Last time I was there you could wait your turn to climb up and impress everyone with your moves (or a view of your underwear if wearing a skirt!!!). Drinks aren't cheap but there are a few bars to choose from so you get served fairly quickly.

What madness is this?…read more For context - the Belushi's I'm used to is a scummy dive off Covent Garden, where you end up when you're already rat-arsed and all the pubs are closing. After you've unstuck your feet from the floor you'll probably order some shots of something disgusting which seems like a good idea at the time, and will leave you reeling in the seventh circle of hell the next day. This Belushi's...is a little bit different. The bar/restaurant area is pretty spacious, with high tables, sofas and a glorious seaview terrace. I'll admit my review is biased, because I have a Tastecard giving me 50 per cent off food here - so for three days my friend and I dined on ludicrously cheap Belushi's fare. And you know what? The food's actually decent. The last night we came here we ordered steak, which worked out at...oooh...approximately £5.50 each. £5.50! At that price, it would be rude not to order some shots of Agwa (£2) and a bottle of wine (£14) to wash it down with...ah wait, perhaps this is more like the Belushi's I'm used to. But my feet never stuck to the floor, I never ended up with my face in some stranger's armpit, and I never stopped appreciating the view from that terrace. Next time I'm in Newquay...I'll be back.

The first time I came here I was 18 wearing a pink sparkly cowboy stetson, a curtain as a cape and dancing like a lunatic. I was king of the world. I can confirm that there are still a large amount of 18 year old drunk idiots coming here for a party, and good luck to them. I'm just a bit too old for it. On the plus side, it was the best place to be for the England match. The atmosphere was great and the the bar service was quick despite the huge crowds. For me, these days, the Walkabout in Newquay is a good place to grab some cheap food and a couple of pints during the day whilst taking a break from the beach. Both the food and drink menu is extensive and have a number of options but we went for the Tapas. A good selection of Tapas dishes which are reasonably priced (£3.75 for 1 or £9 for 3). There is a kids menu as well. We loved the Pulled Chicken and Chorizo, the Haloumi and Courgette were out of the world. The wife told me that the Squid were nice too. A wide range of cocktails, mock-tails or beer/wine is available to accompany the food. A large glass of Malbec under £6 was a bargain. The cocktails were well made and reasonably priced. The place is spread over two floors and also a terrace so I am sure you will find a place. You don't have to wait to be seated and you can sit where you like. The system is to order at the bar and they bring the food over so take a note of the table number. I am sure you will find what you crave for in the extensive menu. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient and enhances the overall experience. Highly recommend you to check this place out if you are in or around Newquay.

That's very peculiar for a place that calls itself an "Irish Pub" - and in very big letters on the front! So, while the pub itself is plesant, quite stylish and very comfy with its darkened interior, lovers of Irish beer will be gravely disappointed. Some Irish spirits however are available. Our order on the computer didn't go through to kitchen, so the youngsters blamed that .Appalling experience, so don't waste your time and money. It is a popular place especially among older patrons (such as myself), and can get quite busy towards the late afternoon, early evening. The food on offer is superior pub grub, and my dish (grilled whitefish on beetroot, with small potatoes and a rather sad "salad" garnish) was decent but nothing to write home about. While I had drinks at the Red Lion several times during my stay I decided not to eat there again. Service was down-to-earth and friendly, if a bit rushed (the place wasn't even half-full). The staff are very friendly, and will serve you as quickly as possible. It has a nice décor, and appears to be like a traditional pub. This is very beneficial as in such a busy town in the summer, it is great to be able to escape the hype, and spend time in a more relaxed place. The drinks are average price, with some being cheaper than your normal pub prices. This is a really nice place to go with friends or families.
