Second - he shows up when he says he will & offers free estimates. I had Cliff do several odd jobs that needed tackled (install hardwired fire/carbon detectors, install threshold strips, repair misaligned doors, install new auto door locks, install new door bell & cover & a few other odd jobs) He was meticulous - every task was done to perfection..His rates are very reasonable especially for the quality of work he performs. I only wish I had hired or known Cliff before work I had done previously by an inept contractor prior. Thankfully Cliff was able to correct the mistakes "they" did. I've intended to write this review for a while. I don't often write reviews but I feel if this is…read moreabsolutely necessary. I must highly recommend MH and E Excavation and the owner Mike. Quite frankly I had no idea what to expect. There was a massive project in our backyard and Mike came in at the middle bid. From the beginning, he seemed like he had a plan and he seemed to have the experience to get it done. Either way, it took me about a month to make a decision but I hired Mike and his crew to level my backyard, remove trees, and reinforce a creek wall to support the increase in the volume of dirt and land in that area. They showed up on time, actually got the job done a day sooner than they had anticipated, and did a fantastic job of tree removal and grading the newly excavated area. Again I highly recommend them. More people should write reviews in the Ohio area so that they could better understand publicly who's good and who's not. So I want to publicly let people know that Mike and his crew do excellent work.

I work for a maintenance company that manages many large-scale retail stores across the country. I…read morereached out to this company for a quote to repair some exterior work on a building. It was the ONLY company I had sent out there, do to our office processes, we do not send multiple companies to bid projects. 16 days after reaching out to them and sending the information to them (with no correspondence what-so-ever after leaving multiple voicemails) I finally got my response today. He tells me that he went to look at the job, and was told multiple vendors were sent out to bid on this project. The store and their employees have nothing to do with the work, only my company. NO other company was sent there to bid this, except him. They chose to ignore me for two weeks because a store employee relayed incorrect information. The only other person sent to this job was my in-house tech, who told me the job was too large for him, HENCE me sending a request for quote to this company. I am baffled by the way they do business. They chose not to give me a quote simply because they thought I was trying to get the lowest price? I'm assuming? I'm sorry but my company can probably buy his company today, I was not looking to low-ball this job, only get it repaired. To me, this is not a legitimate business and I would suggest not calling them if you want honest business.
