We live close enough that we can drive across the Mississippi to their store but sometimes I just use their website to research what's available. First I want to apologize for thinking the package was never delivered. When I initially ordered the shop was attentive we discussed how it would be delivered but I never received confirmation that the package was delivered to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel dropped the ball never delivered the package. However it did arrive after some calling around at the hotel so it ended well. My friend loved the gift and was super surprised. This is the coolest place! I wanted to send something unique and special to my mom and stumbled upon The Basketry while doing a Google search. I looked at the website and there were so many quality options. It was hard to make a decision so I decided to do a custom box. I ordered my MOH the fleur de bubbles basket. I called and was able to add sugarfina gummies a la carte. The person who helped me was pleasant and I enjoyed the quick and smooth process. Sending a birthday gift basket to a friend down in Metairie. Placed an online order (I'm in the philly area) and within an hour, I received a text message from Ali informing me one of my items in the package was out of stock and offered me two substitutions. This past weekend I had one of the best customer service experiences of my life from The Basketry! I ordered "The Bachelorette" basket for my fiancee while she was down in LA for her bachelorette party / jazz fest. Her maid of honor accidentally gave me the wrong address and I wound up having the basket delivered to the wrong hotel. I spoke with the hotel concierge and she assured me she'd have the bellman walk it down the street to the right hotel. The owner comes out and helps a lot too they are very accommodating as well and super friendly . This is such a great store to find unique gifts. The store always has a table in the front with a theme that coordinates with the season or holiday (summer, Easter, Christmas, Mother's Day, etc). The customer service is always excellent. I've only had an issue once or twice (usually during Christmas season or the day before a holiday). Mother's Day was particularly busy. I love the variety. The back left of the store is baby and kids items. There is Pandora and other jewelry. A lot of "Southern" themed t shirts. Pretty rustic frames. Some platters, dip bowls, kitchen towels. They do sell wines and some simple snacks to add to baskets. They can help you put together a basket or you can order one from their website that's premade.
