This is a nice boutique on Metarie Road and I was here right before Christmas so there were sales galore. I would call the style here "casual chic" and a lot of the tops can be easily paired with jeans or leggings. When I was here I picked up a "final sale" sweater that was really nice and I was pleased with the way the clothing fits. I've found that a lot of these brand boutiques have odd sizing, but it seemed pretty accurate here. They also have a nice selection of "last minute" items like makeup and accessories so it's a great place to start if you are shopping for a gift and have a feel of someone's personal style.

The clothing fits the name, it's pretty edgy, and the brands are fun. I got a great Mark Jacobs wristlet here. Again, the jeans selection was good- the sign of a good boutique...last time I was there, I was loving their selection of Hudson jeans. I'm bummed that the uptown location is gone, but am glad that it's on Metairie Rd. This store has also been featured in Lucky Magazine, so it's definitely doing something right.

I was looking for yet another dress to take engagement pictures and I was given great choices and lots of time to try on everything in the dressing room. I was also informed that I could return the dress if I ended up changing my mind about it for store credit. Of course, I ended up wearing the first dress I bought so I returned the new dress and the exchange process was so easy! I traded in for a cute outfit to wear the following weekend. This is added to my list of faves from now on.

Are you a fashionista on a budget? Look no further than Rainbow!…read more Well, I gotta say. I hadn't been to Rainbow in years when I just happened to stop in and see what they had. I remember the days when the clothing at Rainbow was so cheap that it would rip as soon as you washed it. While there are still clothes like that (if you can see through it, it's a good idea to hand wash it), the quality of other things has been stepped up a notch. I saw super cute dresses, tops and skirts for reasonable prices, that don't look as if they just came off of the discount rack. It was right before the Saints NFC Playoff game, so shout out to whoever had the bright idea to put the black and gold clothing in front of the store- that was pretty genius. I saw a really cute polka dot skirt that I almost got, but I blanked on what I would wear it with and I'm trying to be more responsible with my spending these days. However, it was only $17, so I was super tempted. This store also has kids clothing and a small shoe and bag selection, if you're looking for something low priced to pick up in those departments. This really is the type of place you shop if you need something quick and easy that you know isn't going to last a lifetime.

I left with a denim skirt that was $5 and some change. I really enjoy their mission and would rather support here than goodwill. They have A LOT of dishes, other housewares, luggage, gowns, and clothes. I wouldn't say there was much home wall decor though which I'm always on the hunt for. The prices are there with goodwill, however some items were definitely overpriced. As for the store itself, It is very cluttered as others have said. I also noticed a lot of the items were just piled on top of each other so it's very hard to dig through the items without throwing stuff around. There are also no fitting rooms but I was able to try stuff on in the bathroom but I'm not sure if that's a regular thing for customers. I think this shop has a lot of potential but they should consider a larger space / being more choosy with some of their inventory. I will definitely return because the staff was friendly and I like their mission.
