BUYER BEWARE - READ THE FINE PRINT (IF YOU CAN FIND IT) Ridiculous policies. Will shop other stores instead. Had a bad experience here a couple years ago, but tried to give it a second chance this week. I've now been burned twice, and I will not be spending anymore money here. Sad, because it does have cute stuff and it's in my neighborhood. In 2022, I purchased a clothing item for my son on black Friday. Everything in the store was discounted 20% or so that day, including full-priced items. This sale was announced verbally to customers as they shopped in the store. I purchased overalls (discounted to $70) in a 3T for my son who was wearing size 2T in most brands. Unfortunately, they were too tight to pull over his legs. When I tried to exchange for a larger size THE VERY NEXT MORNING, the owner said it could not be exchanged because I had purchased the item "on sale" on black Friday. Meanwhile, the other size was just sitting on the rack... and this policy was not announced at the time of my purchase! Had I known there was a no-exchange policy, I would not have purchased the silly overalls for my toddler! It was meant to be a fun purchase at a local store, a little splurge during the holiday break. There was no customization or monogram. What a waste of money! I felt like a sucker and hoped that I'd have a second kid who could fit into them someday. Last week, I purchased several items from the store for my child while he was at school. Because of my previous experience, I asked the cashier if the items could be returned if they didn't fit, as the items were all full price. She said yes, they can be returned. Today, I took two items into the store to return them, and another cashier said they only offer store credit, no refunds. I explained that I had asked about returns at the time of purchase, and the other employee said they could be returned. She just said "sorry the other person didn't explain it to you, that's the store policy". I scanned the room to see if I had missed a large and obvious sign explaining this policy for every item in the store. After several glances, I finally noticed the TINY sign next to some gift cards explaining the no-refunds policy. There are other local stores that offer the same brands, but don't make me feel foolish for shopping with them. (One of them is only a block away.) There is no need to be so stressed out shopping for little kid clothes! I will take my money elsewhere. read more

Adorable shop for baby/toddler clothes, toys, etc. The salesclerk who assisted me was young and very helpful, so I didn't have Megan's experience for which I'm grateful. I ran in to buy a last minute first communion gift and they had plenty of selection. I loved the guardian angel necklace but it was too pricey for me to buy for a 7 year old who will lose it one week. I did find some very cute and affordable (under $20) cross earrings that were age appropriate. Definitely a spot to find cute baby items but don't expect bargain prices. read more

Adorable clothes, but very rude--make you want to run out crying rude--employees. I called in advance to verify their inventory on Friday, saying I'd be there on Monday. When I got there, the older lady at the counter looked at me as if I were Godzilla. Maybe my big, curly hair was an issue for her. Anyway, I know her type (Uptown broads), so I was still very charming and I really liked the clothes and toys. So many fun, non-frou frou pieces! When I told her what I needed and that I'd called previously, she said I couldn't have it and that she'd have to call her boss who would call me back later. I told her I went out of my way and that she wouldn't know what I needed, so it was best that I get what I came for. She looked at me like I was stupid, and basically sent me on my way. Later she called back and her boss suggested an item for me. I asked her to describe it, and of course it was all wrong. I pretty much said thanks but no thanks, and she was offended that I didn't like her selections. Never again. read more

I never review online... but had to after reading the only review posted for this ADORABLE store. Since the last review, this store has been purchased and completely overhauled by two absolutely lovely young ladies. The clothes are updated (although you can still find those staples your mother wants to see your babies in). They have a great selection of books, toys, and also carry some furniture selections. They have a fantastic "high chair" by Stokke- and they were even so kind as to let me take it home to see if it worked with the height of my dining room table. (It did!). Anyway- just wanted to say that this is not the same Mignon anymore. It has arrived- and it is well worth a visit! I will be going back whenever I need a baby gift or some new outfit for my little ones! read more

So I came here by recommendation by the concierge service at my hotel and I am so glad I did. The two sales girls names Meg & Olivia were terrific. They helped me for over an hour trying to find some outfits for my 2 year old daughter. If you're ever out here in New Orleans check them out. Awesome 6 Stars read more

I never leave reviews, but had a truly terrible experience with this store. After 45 minutes of shopping without any offer of help from the sales clerk, the store refused to honor our gift card from our baby shower three months ago. We were told that the $90 our friend gifted us was wasted money and that they would not make any offer to honor it. Needless to say we were left shocked at the store's behavior and would not recommend shopping there. read more
