The…read moreleasing agent Ellie made the process of moving in seamless, and the building management in particular Trevor has made any and all issues disappear. All work orders I've submitted have been completed in a timely manner if not the same day, and that's because the building maintenance team is top notch. As a bonus the building management does monthly community events that are unique and fun! These events usually support local businesses and have delicious food On another note throughout the entire building and parking garage there are cameras that contribute to the safe environment Altair fosters. There is no doubt in my mind I'm safe walking the halls of the building. Altair has something to offer everyone and really is a top community in the St Louis area.

Find the leprechauns and redeem for gift cards). They even have a business center where residents can use desktop computers with printing or reserve a conference room. The gym also looked amazing--there's a separate fitness room where they have a virtual digital fitness trainer that you can sync your device for. Parking is also free (1 car per apartment unit). It's also walking distance from the Richmond Heights Community Center and Library!

Unfortunately, we have had many water leaks from the ceiling and the recessed lights. After yesterday's storm the "fixes" that the maintenance crew used previously have failed and the ceiling has caved. The water is now spreading in the ceiling to multiple rooms of the penthouse causing massive leaks and water build up. This is now impacting apartments below us. The maintenance crew has been unresponsive for mitigation actions. They will not cover any of the furniture or tarp the failing roof areas to mitigate further damages, after multiple requests. They have also used our beautiful china and our trash cans to catch water from the leaks. Finally, no one will speak with us about the remediation plan.

Do not live here. Go legit anywhere else…read more I've lived here for less than a year, and not a single month has gone by without major maintenance issues that make the apartment feel like a construction zone. When we moved in, the unit was dirty, with paint splatter on the floor. A cleaner was promised she showed up, barely touched the bathroom, then left and never came back. From day one, the WiFi didn't work for three days. The toilet had to be fixed six times before it functioned properly. The kitchen sink has leaked and exploded twice. The dishwasher leaked and fell out of the counter. The living room AC stopped working, and management initially refused to fix it due to "overtime" until legal action was mentioned. There's been a bedroom leak for four months that still hasn't been resolved. The only response has been putting in loud industrial dehumidifiers and repeatedly pulling up and re-gluing the same wet flooring. The living room windows leaked , twice. Hot water has been out for multiple days. The "luxury" amenities? Often broken , for example, the theater room was out of order for four months. Despite paying nearly $3,000/month, we've received nothing close to a livable, finished space. Management avoids real solutions and defaults to temporary fixes and dismissive responses. We asked for a lease break or one month of rent credit , both were ignored. If you want ongoing repairs, loud equipment in your bedroom, and unresponsive management this is the place for you. I've got pictures, videos, and detailed communications to back this up.

This place has mold, mildew, fire hazards, outdated plumbing/electric, leaking sewage, flooding problems in the basement, disgusting smells, and a whole staff of unqualified people who are trained to belittle you and make you feel dumb for reporting any problems. I left several pictures on this site and ask you let others know to watch out for these people. When we first signed the lease, we were promised all of the windows and hallways were going to be renovated within a couple of months after our move into the building. When we emailed the Michelson Organization to ask why the windows were not being changed, they confirmed they did indeed make that promise but couldn't simply work it into the budget this year. Our windows flooded out during rain storms and the Michelson organization still refused to do anything. I even uploaded a video of water flooding our apartment onto youtube just so people can see the kind of slime the Michelson organization really is. Just search "The Envoy Michelson Organization 8701 Delmar" on youtube to see the video. Also, our plumbing was out on one of the bathrooms for almost 6 months due to their carelessness. As soon as we called to complain and informed them it's been long enough, Todd the maintenance guy came up to our door and continually rang the door bell for a couple of minutes until one of us answered. He's constantly putting the tenants on the defense with his passive aggressive Michelson training and never ONCE completed a job properly. For two years we just put up with this guy and allowed him to bully us in our own home until it was time for us to leave. Todd then made it difficult for us to move out and did everything he could to let us know he was glad we were leaving. And if that weren't enough, The Michelson Organization allows smoking in the building and do nothing to regulate it. I had to breathe second hand smoke from my neighbor for two years thanks to the fact the Michelson Organization was unwilling to change the rules. There are a lot of elderly people in the building and these slum lords simply do not care. The laundry facility has a main sewer line along the washing machines and it has some serious leaks. I've come home several times to the sewer pipes bursting and there being urine and fecal matter running down the walls and onto the washing machines. I've even walked by the laundry area, smelled urine, made a comment to one of the tenants, and the next day an air freshener magically appeared in the exact area where I complained about the smell to another tenant. My guess is this had to do with the fact I was right in front of the maintenance office when I made the very loud comment to another tenant, and Todd did what he does best. Throw a Band-Aid on it then disappear for hours until it was time to go home.
