There's visits to Santa for kids, free hot chocolate and apple cider, marshmallow roasting, and a holiday market with beautiful Christmas ornaments, wreaths and more. As soon as you get there you can smell the fresh pine and there are trees of all sizes that you can choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, there to answer your questions and help once you pick your tree. The trees are fully, good quality and reasonably prices. They usually carry your tree to the front where it's trimmed and wrapped then secured on your car. I did go on a Sunday so it was busy, but not overly crowded. I would definitely recommend if you're looking to purchase a live tree.

I was parked in the handicap so I was close to the door. I asked the man at the front of I could check the size of the pans under my large plants in the car. He looked at me and the turned away and said no you will have to bring the plants in. So I lifted the large plants from my car and tried the pan under each plant. He never offered to help me. When he rang up my total for 2 pans, less than $5.00, I let him know that I was not happy that I had to do that. He said in a very loud voice that if he had let me do it every one would want to do it! It was clearly meant to be mean to me for no reason. But maybe I do know the reason. There was another employee there who heard the whole conversation. She only laughed and looked at him as if to say you are right to be mean to her. I will never step foot on that store again. And I have been there for every season. I live in the area. I am sure they don't care but I don't think that I was treated fairly so I will spend my money else where.

Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, we asked a young man for help and he gave us so much information on tree types and what the differences are. All the staff were really great, which added to the magic. While we did not partake, it was lovely in the barn where you could make your own wreaths, there was a station for writing letters to Santa, and hot chocolate. Our tree looks fantastic two weeks later, we will absolutely be returning to Gunpowder Tree Farm next year!

I wasn't so sure if it was open since it was hidden behind a seasonal snow cone shop. There wasn't really a parking lot but there are street and neighborhood parking. I thought it was going to be a lot with christmas trees for sale but it was more than that. There are multiple small retail buildings thoughtout the garden grounds. It may look like someones home but walk right in. Each building has different products to browse through like gardens supplies, home decor, kitchen goods, and appropriately christmas home decor. There was a greenhouse that I loved to browse through. I might have enjoyed walking through the greenhouse the most since it shielded me from the cold outside. Although there isn't drinks on the premises, there was a self serve hot cocoa area which was nice to walk around to warm yourself with. I would love to come back and stroll the area during spring and summer with all the flowers bloomed in their gardens.

This spot is owned by the same people behind The Margaret Cleveland in Bolton Hill and although I've never had a chance to stop by there, judging by the window displays, both locations are very well curated. I could've spent hours meandering around each of the tiny homes looking at all the interesting goodies they have. If you're looking for a housewarming gift or really any gift at all, this is such a good spot to hit up - especially for that person who maybe seems like they already have everything. There's a lot of unique cards and other items that would certainly make for a memorable gift. Although the prices on some items were a bit high, other items were surprisingly reasonable. It's one of those places you could easily spend $250 or $25 depending on what you're looking for. All the ladies that work there were super nice too and you could tell they were excited to share more information. I will definitely be back!

She did it after I hung up and in a short time sent me photos. and then delivered it within the hour. The container had three plants, all full of buds and one with a bloom. She also contacted me after she delivered to my friend . I have never had service that helpful and highly recommend the Little Farm Nursery.

They also don't get them locally. I only paid it because my normal farmers market was closed (that also charges 1/2 the price for seeded). Much of the fruit and veggies I saw looked/felt past their freshness period. I doubt they will refund my money so I'll never go back. There are much better farmers markets in the area.

This was our one and only time (so far) purchasing anything from here so my review is limited to this one experience. Expect sticker shock if you're getting a tree (but I think that's true anywhere). The tree we got was absolutely beautiful and perfectly shaped. We didn't even have to trim it when we got it home! The staff was very friendly, prepped the tree for us and tied it to our car. I would like to go back here again in the spring when they're back with seasonal produce!

We love our local firehouse!…read more Every year, we purchase our live Christmas tree from their lot. They sell out fast, so you have to jump on down there right after Thanksgiving. It's a great fundraiser for them every year and their trees are always really healthy and look great once set up and decorated. We also have been going to the Terror Trail for the past couple of years. It's definitely a lot of fun for both the kids and parents. I'm not sure if the firehouse specifically hosts this event, but I think they do. Lastly, we have had local incidents that have required intervention from the firefighters and first responders. They have always been helpful, courteous, and quick to respond. It's a great firehouse with wonderful people that staff it. I'm glad we have them so close by.
