Amara Aquila (Magma) uses her geothermal abilities to tunnel into the lair where it appears Kitty has been bound to a chair, only for the New Mutants to discover to their horror that Illyana's friend is nothing more than a hologram and they have become entrapped by Emma Frost, the Hellfire Club's White Queen, a powerful telepath. After calling on Amara's earthquake powers to create a distraction, Illyana transports the team to Limbo, the demon realm over which she reigns and out of the reach of Frost. But what if, in an alternate story progression from Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema's New Mutants issues 15 and 16, the team then learns that they could set their own trap for Emma Frost? What if, during Danielle Moonstar's psychic interrogation of a few low-level employees, they discover that the White Queen is a sucker for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and that teleporting themselves to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland, could provide all of the disruptions they need to negate the White Queen's most powerful weapon: her focused mind? Frost might find her lavish tastes torn into infinite directions, from the touchy-feely animal books that could lull young toddler mutant recruits to sleep to the Beatrix Potter-like dining sets that could enchant their distrusting yet nostalgic guardians; from the individually-crafted, kaleidoscopically-colored puppets that could entertain homesick adolescents to the visually-radiant and climatologically-resilient mums, whose scented whispers could soothe teenage lasses who seek something to take care of; and, suddenly, Amara's tunneling skills and Illyana's teleporting prowess might completely escape Frost's notice.

This is the first year that my husband and I have purchased a real Christmas tree, and I was a…read morelittle nervous about where best to get one that would live through the holidays. I always had real Christmas trees growing up, but I had never bought one as an adult. Nevertheless, Almost Heavenly Trees & Greenery made the process way easier than I could have expected, and for the first time, like ever in my life, we left the tree lot with the first tree we looked at. This is a fantastic 'mom and pop' tree farm operation and the young man, forgive me that I have forgotten his name, was super fantastic! He spent 20 minutes with us making sure we had the exact tree we wanted, and even helped up strap it to the roof of our car for the trip home. I feel really bad that I've forgotten his name because he was so personable. Not once did I feel like he was rushing us even though the lot was busy. And the trees are spectacular. It didn't look like much when we arrived because it is just trees in a lot, but they are quite fresh. The trees (douglas firs) from the family farm in WV were cut about a week before being sold. We ended up with a frasier fir (personal favorite) which came from a farm in NC but we were told they were about as fresh but they just couldn't confirm the day they had actually been cut. The prices were very reasonable, especially for being a local business and not a 'big box' store. We were just so impressed and are so very happy with our lovely tree that we are definitely life-long customers as long as we are within reasonable driving distance! Thank you Almost Heavenly Tree & Greenery!

I cannot say enough great things about almost heavenly Christmas trees, we have been getting our…read moretrees from them for five years now and they are the most beautiful, full, and long last trees we have gotten. They last all of December, always get it the day after thanksgiving and keep it up until New Year's Day. This year our tree fell over after being up for two weeks. It didn't feel secure and I called to get some advice and spoke with Matt who explained it was likely our tree stand (which it was) and offered to have someone come to our home to install our tree in a new tree stand the following day. As promised, Sam came with the new tree stand and put our tree in it the following day. They went above and beyond and followed through on everything they said they would. We will continue to get our trees from almost heavenly for as long as we live in this area and I have already told many people about this company so you should be expecting some new customers! Thank you!

I'm a glam country girl and will forever be. Flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables, farm fresh meats, dairy, bakery items, etc, etc, etc. High quality, always fresh. Store is always clean. They just did an expansion of the store making more space for product placement & customers to roam. I love the open market feel. Staff...always friendly professional. I could have a bad day and coming here instantly cheers me up. Prices... health costs money but copays cost more. You choose. Parking... decent. The turnover is quick and I've never had to wait to park. People are usually in & out. Issues... the only herbs they sell is cilantro. I'm ok with that (mostly). But I really wish they had mint & basil. They are closed during winter. Makes sense but... Those are the longest 4 months for me.

I love getting my seasonal produce from there because it is so fresh and flavorful. They also have locally sourced baked goods, jams, spices, and candies. The plant selection is also unreal. They have about 8 greenhouses all filled with different plants. Feels like walking through a local garden rather than a nursery. A plus is also that they usually have a food truck on the weekends. The day I went was Mikes Gelato.
