Going to Payne's to get a Christmas tree has become a yearly tradition now. I did not grow up getting a tree so the full feeling of Christmas was kind of lost on me. But over the past few years my boyfriend and I have been getting a tree and we always come here. The selection is massive and we have gotten the perfect tree whether we came at the beginning of the month or with 3 days left to Christmas (oops). They have a roaring fire outside where you can make smores, there is always complementary hot chocolate or cider. And it is really fast from the moment you pick out your tree to when they have it all netted and secured on top of your car. There is also a Christmas market for anything you may need- ornaments, tree accessories, lights, etc. One stop and shop situation for sure. We pay between 90 to 95 for our tree each year.

Payne Christmas Trees have become a large part of our families Christmas time traditions. We love it here. They serve complimentary Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate for all of the patrons, which is a very nice touch. What we like most about this amazing place is how as soon as you park your car and get out, you feel like you've visited Santa's village. There's an indoor area where you can purchase reefs, ornaments, and a bunch of different little things like bbq sauces made by the locals. On the outside, you get to walk through the maze of trees until you find the one you want. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They'll wrap your tree and assist with tying it on top of your vehicle for those that don't have space on the inside. Lastly, and I think this is the part that wows us the most every time, is the backdrops for photos. There's a really nice fireplace and a Santa statue. My family and I love it here and will continue to make it a part of our annual traditions because we're genuinely happier people after we leave.

This is our second year coming to Payne's for our tree. I highly recommend going during the week, which we did this year, making our visit even better since we were able to avoid the crowds. They have a very large selection of top quality trees, a wonderful holiday market, complimentary hot chocolate and cider, cute areas for photos, a fireplace for roasting marshmallows, and Santa! The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and quickly get the tree cut, wrapped, and fixed to your vehicle. In the market, they have tons of ornaments for any taste (including some locally made), decorations, stocking stuffers, serving ware, fresh wreaths and garland, coffee, jam, candy, and more. Santa was in his own beautifully decorated space, and we got some great pictures of him chatting with our kid.

Perfect visit, perfect holiday stop. Definitely went here to pick out a tree and feel in love with the displays. So many trees! The guys up front were on stand by to assist in selecting, wrapping, and strapping. Very helpful and friendly. Hot chocolate, cider, marshmallows, all available at fireside. The building where we paid for the tree has additional decorations. I might go back just to shop!

Beautiful place and reasonable prices! I really love the ambiance of this place. They also serve complimentary hot chocolate. I took some photos for your reference

I loved the Christmas tree I bought.. It was beautiful. Friendly staff, very helpful! Santa , cider, hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows for free will get you in the spirit! Lots of xmas wreaths and other Christmas items for sale inside. Will never go anywhere else again!

It's great that they cut the tree for you, not great when they cut it crooked and it can't stand up.

Decent selection of trees, limited and pricey for anything else. Although they do net and load the tree for you, they cut ours crooked and it can't stand up. Tried calling, it goes to voicemail. For a busy couple trying to save some time and energy, this really wasn't it.

Inside festive Payne's Christmas Shop! Great merchandise, wonderful service, and fair prices!

The day I went was Mikes Gelato.

There is a public parking lot right next to it as well as lots of street parking. You can catch weekly deals of items that are mostly one-time deals, so get them if you can! One thing I was not crazy about this store is the limited staff, but I believe that is one of the reasons the prices are low. You do have to pay 25 cents for a cart via a system of inserting a quarter in the device on the cart to unleash it, but when you return the cart and place the plastic insert into the previous cart's device, you'll get it back. You also need to bring your own bags or purchase them in store (paper or plastic). Some stores have self-checkout (such is this one) which is a great option. All in all, a decent grocery store with fresh, low-cost items.
