First and foremost let me say.. I had one of the most simple wedding as far as what I have known…read moresome people to have. I had a peacock themed wedding without a bridal party and no groomsmen. I had a few special people who I wanted to be in my wedding such as my mother. We signed a contract in August in a meeting with Trell in which we told her what we wanted.. we didn't necessarily care about how the tables were decorated as we thought we would be getting someone with excellent work by the pictures standards on her website and Facebook page. We were wrong. What u are getting is what her time will allow. During my experience with Kimberly Trell she stayed so busy we had our first meeting after signing the contract was December 30th when our wedding date was January 6th, forgot things she should have known about our event since our wedding was so simple. Her contracts and her detailed paperwork does not reflect each other. Which means she can't give you specific cost of food, services she contracted on our behalf ect.. I asked her for itemized invoices several times she never produced any (one of her contacted staff did but she did not). Also she third party contracts with other companies for certain services such as DJ and draping/ lighting (production services). I had sereval other issues as well with the service I received. Based on the level of service advertised especially when we had a very loose budget when we contracted this service and paid the balance in full two months before my wedding. Therefore in my opinion there was no excuse as to why our wedding didn't meet the standards of the wedding and events advertised on the website and Facebook page. I don't recommend this service, however if you must do so with caution. #MrsRiddles

The owner of this venue has a poor attitude once you rent the venue from her. She was at our…read morewedding the ENTIRE time and complained about it the entire night. As the bride, I hated hearing about this from our guests and I didn't appreciate her being there. She also adds a cleaning fee at the end that isn't included in the contract and that she never mentioned before renting. It rained the day of and she put down these vase bottoms for people to step on. When they inevitably broke, she charged us for them breaking. She also tells you that you have the venue until 11, but realistically she wants everything shut down by 9. The pros is that it is a beautiful view and we got a decent price, but other than that I would not recommend unless you are okay with her being over your shoulder and spreading negativity and her hitting you with surprise fees that she doesn't tell you about up front. She claims she serves as "security," but there is literally a police officer on site so it is redundant for her to be there (not to mention she wouldn't be able to do anything if things went wrong). It's honestly sad that she acts the way she does on one of the most important nights of peoples lives.

We were asked to finish the laundry from the people before if we wanted to sleep on clean sheets. It was gross. Then, the bride wanted to know since we had no cable if she could watch the movie father of the bride if we could connect to Amazon or Netflix but they had none of this. The place was in a sad state a mentioning anything to the owner infuriated her. No gas to the fireplace. We tried to be overly nice to defuse the situation (my niece was getting married the next day!) but anything we requested or asked about was hit back with attitude ( meanwhile we are still drying other people's linens and towels) but the worst thing that happened was when speaking to this woman/owner on the phone about several issues with the guest house she threatens to ruin my niece's wedding. It was so brutal that we stood there in shock staring at the phone. How horrible of a human being are you to say something like this out loud to the mother of the bride. Needless to say we went back inside and never let my niece know what she had said and hoped for the best the next day. We got through the wedding the next day but to put that kind of stress on any of us for asking simply for answers to problems that should not have been was pure evil of this owner. I recommend you going somewhere that you will be appreciated.

There were live animals, a hay ride, a corn maze, zip lines, and lots of games. You could also purchase pumpkins, snacks, drinks, and various other items. The cost of entry was very reasonable. My only gripe is that the tricycles were junk and not rideable. Me, my husband, and our girls had a great time!
