I attended the Christmas Ball held Dec. 6th. Such a terrible experience for myself and everyone at…read moremy table and around me. First of we had to drive through me and walk through a muddy field which is dark. Look like they could at least fill in the driveway with enough gravel for people to walk around and not drive through water. I mean we were all dressed up. Everyone was complaining. Next the chain was across the walkway, so we ended up walking in wet grass with mud while dressed up in heels, etc. Then no lights to light up the walkway to the event center. You taking your life at risk. Then when we finally got to the event center they had a wood fire pit right beside the door. Like we all want to walk through smoke to get in. Next the rug beside us was flipped up where everyone who walked by was tripping and then falling hanging on to chairs. They did not even take the time to make sure the Christmas tree was decorated basically thew lights on it with no ornaments at all and didn't care to tape the light electric code down another trip hazard. We ordered lobster and the one piece of lobster was smaller than most shrimp even though the charge for 2 was around $157.00. Brussel sprouts were hard and not cooked with a piece of white bread and butter. Others had beef which was cold and one man sent it back. It looked like it came out of can. Terrible planning. Then by the time it was ending the entire room smelled like wood from the door opening and the wood pit by the door. Poor planners. I will never go back and everyone at the table had the same opinion. They had a good band but the room has no sound barriers just glass. If you are going to have a band do something for the noise control. Sad planning and such a rip off!!!!

As a photographer, sometimes shooting weddings is high stress and some hosts make things extra difficult. This was most definitely not the case here!! The scenery at this location is absolutely breathtaking and the owners Leslie and Michael are some of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life! They thought of absolutely everything and were so helpful to everyone involved in the day!! They laughed with us, they danced with us, they enjoyed this day as much as the bride and groom themselves!! They both have such a wonderful spirit and even their son was just a doll!! The chapel is the cutest little chapel I have ever seen and I totally adore the spiral staircase in the corner!! It made for a great photo!! The terrace is beautifully perfect, especially with the recent expansion!! It is complete with a fire pit, bathrooms, a bridal room and small kitchen area. The little bridal house is lovely and the creek makes for a beautiful backdrop. This was most definitely one of the best weddings I have ever been to!! Highly highly recommend this venue to brides to be! The chapel and terrace are perfect for smaller weddings (many more than 100 people things might get a little cramped) and this is definitely going to be on my list of favorite photography locations!!
