For as much hype as the Bandon Dunes Resort courses get, this place is a hidden gem. Course is in…read moregreat shape and the greens are rolling smooth, and it's February. The course has a really nice layout with some fantastic views, and there were some very fun holes. I'd give the course itself a 4.5/5! The downside to playing here was the service. The lady working the front desk wasn't friendly and wasn't managing the tee times. There was a slight frost delay in the morning, so groups were going out late, but when our twosome went in at our scheduled time to see how much time we had until we teed off, we were told that they weren't basing it on tee times anymore, it was just first-come-first-serve and we should get in line for the tee. The playing experience was slow on the back too--we got stuck behind a sixsome, which the course definitely shouldn't let out. If this course got a starter and a marshall, it's rating would go up. And if the staff members were friendly, Bandon Crossings would have a chance at a 5-star rating.
