if I could give them zero starts I would. my sweet baby girl was there for three day and I can only imagine the hell she had to deal with while there. 1. the day she was picked up I realized her poop bad was ripped off leash. ok, fine accidents happen. 2. my girl has really bad allergies and is on a raw diet. And also takes allergy pills daily when I called while away on my trip to see how she was taking the pills. I was told that she was taking the pills just fine. I then got home and was unpacking her bag to see that the pills I provided them with was still in bag not one was hiben to her. I called to ask about my finding and was told they would call me back. I never got a call back. My son told me while he was taking her potty he noticed her limping. I didn't see her do that at all that day. 3. The day after her being picked up I saw she was sleeping a lot and drinking lots of water more than usually. she wasn't eating like normal as well. As the day went I I saw blood on my carpet and later learned it was her foot with a puncture wound on it. And will look like huge scratch with heat rash on top of it on her upper leg. We had to bring our dog in today for a Groom and Bath. Dog came back terrified of all people; She is a therapy dog, who has been socialized since the day she was born and loves people. Constantly kept her head down, and afraid to move at all, as if she had been screamed at the whole day. In addition she was absolutely covered in pee, as well as our leash which was left there. Staff said that "it happens" and just chalked it up to "the morning crew". Which would mean my dog sat, covered in pee for a full workers shift since we dropped her off in the morning, and picked her up in the afternoon. I would never recommend to anyone who loves their animals. Stay far away from this place. read more

Please never take your dog here. I've worked here and they don't take good care of your pets. The owner abused animals, cut nails so short they bleed everywhere. She does not care how your pet is treated as long as she makes money. Even if she knows you personally or if you've been going for years she still mistreats your pet. Took my dog to stay for the weekend and when we got him back he had dropped weight like they did not feed him at all and he peed in the back of my car (he normally is very good at holding it until he goes out) it was a very dehydrated pee like they did not give him much water. If I could give less stars I would. Absolutely the worst customer service EVER. They will lie and say that you asked for ad ons while boarding and charge you even though I did NOT ask for a full groom. I mentioned the $15 bath they have advertised online, where they got $50 full groom is beyond me!! The "manager" will cuss you out and be an absolute pain to deal with after being on hold for 45 minutes to speak to the rude woman!!! On top of all of this, My dogs are both still incredibly muddy!!! Update/response to the owner: you still consistently keep saying that I requested for my dogs to be brushed out, when I did NOT ask for this!! I simply wanted the exit bath and nail trim. NOTHING MORE. I even questioned the girl at the front before I paid, but she rudely shrugged it off as if it didn't matter. That is why I called back. Had to wait 45 minutes to even speak to you! And after you deliberately made your point that I asked for the full groom did you finally ask what I wanted you to do, I asked that I be refunded the $70 ( $100 from for both dogs - $30 for what it should have cost) you then replied "no" and was absolutely rude to me!! You start cussing so I cussed right back and was fed up with it so hung up abrubtly, that indee is true. Other than that you're full of lies!!! We've been going to this place for years, and it's pretty hit or miss in regards to the customer service. For example, we sometimes have to call and follow-up ourselves to see if our dog is ready to be picked up. When we call, they claim they're "busy". But, on the same token, they call us the other half of the time and let us know that our dog is ready. Another time, we brought our cockapoo in to get his trim, and they have written instructions to pluck the hair in his ears (otherwise he gets ear infections), and they neglected to do so. My wife had to call and bring him back the next day. But, the most challenging aspect of this was when we brought our miniature poodle in to get groomed. He had a nice half inch wound on his bottom near his scrotum, which took quite a while to heal. We did not notice it until we got home; they didn't even think to mention this to us, and did not really seem to care when we brought it up to them. I'm not very much a fan of Deenie's, since they have dropped the ball more often than not. I am also a little upset at how Yelp is censoring the negative reviews for this business (i.e. review filter), and wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with mine. My wife and I will be finding a new grooming business for our two dogs; I wish Deenie's the best of luck; they can improve their business if they really focus on customer service and paying attention to taking care of the pets and owner's instructions more carefully. read more

I have been taking my dogs there every time were in town and every time I have been I've very nervous cause I know about the stories of this place. My entire family takes their dogs there. They have never had problems. But this last time my dog got kennel cough from being there. He is just a little guy too. It upsets me that they do not check for this with other dogs they take in. Now I have to spend money on antibiotics to help him get better. I love my little guy to pieces and now he has to stay in other room away from us and our other dog till he is better. Oh and they charged us more this time for some reason. My husband asked about it but they have some bs reason. Deenie was in there and was rude to us when we picked up our dog. I think I would feel better and take my dog back there if they invested in cameras that the customers can see online to check on their dogs. It sucks cause this place looks really nice. This place was recommended to me from a friend never will go back my dogs hair is really uneven I asked them to cut an inch off they SHAVED my dog he's nails are very sharp and still long he went there for a hair cut and nails and it took over 7 hours when I went to pick my dog up yesterday the lady's at the front desk were very rude acting like they weren't going to give me my dog until I paid it took them over 10 minutes to find my dog when he got to me his tail was down and he was very scared and hasn't been the same sense never had that problem before anywhere else very rude and unprofessional people to me and my dog when we got there and when I picked my dog up I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I switch from another local boarding last year and cant say enough about Deenie and her staff! Both my dogs love the place, they come home well played and in great moods. One of my dogs is super high energy and Deenies is the best thing for her, she actually comes home, eats dinner and falls asleep! Deenie and her staff always let me know how my dogs interact with the staff and other dogs. They seem to figure out their qwerks pretty fast. I dealt with another pet care with both my dogs, lets just say the title #1 in the name is not fitting at all and Deenies should change their name to Deenies #1 Bed and biscuit! read more

This place is great! I am so happy with their daycare service. My dog has some medical issues that do not allow him to left unattended. I needed to go to an appointment and could not find other arrangements for him. I filled out a new client form with The Barking Lot and had my vet fax his records to show he was up to date on everything. When I dropped him off he could not be more excited. He's often reluctant to leave me when we are separated, but he happily bounded off to their play area. When I picked him up he was still so happy and excited. I was worried he might be anxious, but they said he did great and had fun with the other dogs. I know he played a lot because he quickly took a nap because he was so tired from having so much fun playing! I will definitely use their services again. read more

I have never used the services here but a friend of mine has. She was called and told her dog had been injured. She took it to the vet and was told the injuries were from someone kicking it forcefully. I have also heard the the owner has been in trouble for lacing meat with poison and leaving it outside for animals to eat.....I do not trust this place with my animals. Go elsewhere read more

If you want to drop your dogs off and don't care much about how they do, feel free to use this place. If your dogs are more like family and you want to make sure they are treated well...go somewhere else. I was incredibly disappointed with my one and only experience with Deenie's Bed & Biscuit. We had just moved to town, so hadn't found a house/pet sitter and had to resort to a kennel to watch our 2, 90lb dogs while we went back to the East Coast for Thanksgiving. We had heard good reviews from seeminly knowledgeable sources, and the conversation we had with the staff prior to booking seemed to indicate a great fit. Boarded dogs can participate in day care (get to play with the other dogs) and we were told someone was always on the premises. During both our phone booking and drop off conversation, we mentioned that we would be picking up the dogs early on a Sunday morning...and at no point did anyone ever mention that they were only open for pick-up from 6-7pm on Sundays. Yes, those hours were posted on their window, but as a service professional myself, I know to tell new customers about any oddities in service. So, imagine our surprise when we showed up at 10am and the doors were locked. There was a car, and we knew someone was supposed to be there, so we called...and called...and called. I was easily on the phone for 10 minutes before someone decided to answer the phone. The person answering the phone was not trained to talk to customers and had no capability of releasing our dogs to us. Also - she mentioned that she was literally just there to feed the dogs lunch...so there wasn't going to be a person there once she left....and there hadn't been anyone there before we arrived. This was completely unacceptable given what we were told when making our reservations. Fast forward to when we were finally able to bring our dogs home - it was a busy hour, with lots of families picking up their dogs. So the name of the game was charge them and push 'em out the door. When we pushed to see how our dogs had done (had they eaten? did they get along with the other dogs? did they have all their medications? did they poop recently?) there were no answers. The attendant didn't have any ideas about their stay, and didn't seem to have access to any report or other personnel who might have had more information. Other things we noticed - there are a couple of birds near the door...anytime a dog barks, the birds yell "Oye!" just like a person yelling at the dogs to be quiet. My husband picked up our yellow lab yesterday around 4:50pm after a 3 night stay. It took her until 7:30pm tonight to start to become herself. Our lab, who gets crazy excited to see people, didn't even notice my daughters and I when we got home. She wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, wouldn't come when we called her, slept all the time and completely ignored all of us. Her eyes didn't look right. She acted like she was sedated. I will NEVER step foot inside that place again. read more

My dog had gone there and had gotten a cut on her head. I was told it was a scratch and that she was fine. When I said I could come get her, they had said no, she's doing fine...it was nothing serious. She had a 1.5 inch gash on her head and they kept her there for 4 hours after I had said I would come get her. She needed to go to the vet, get stitches, be on antibiotics, and pain medicine. I would never take any animal to this facility! They have no respect for the animals, the owners, or the needs of the animals. She could have been very prone to infection with that big and deep of a gash on her head all because they wanted to make sure they got their money for a full day of doggie daycare! read more

I have not taken my dog to this place, thank God. I went there today to tour it, I was not impressed at all. I was very sad for the animals that were in there. The place stunk horribly, the area for little dogs was very small and had about 20 dogs in there 4 or 5 piled on top of each other in beds. There were no toys anywhere. The outside was nasty, had holes in the fence where dogs could get out, there was a dog alone outside that was shivering. The girl at the desk was very rude. I wouldn't take my pet there or recommend it to anyone. I think this place should be shut down for animal cruelty. read more

NEVER AGAIN! We boarded our German Shepard puppy for a week the first week of July 2012. When we picked her up, the young girl at the register made no eye contact and the only words she said, were, "$279". Once we got our pup home we noticed she was limping and took her the vet. She had a deep gash in her paw, vet said it had to be several days old and it was swollen and infected. There had to have been blood in her kennel and no one there noticed the poor thing was limping. We called Deenie and after she "checked with the staff" denied that it could have happened there. The Vet disagrees. Then they had the nerve to hold onto our check for 6 weeks before they deposited it. They should have paid our vet bill. Never, never again. My pet's well being and safety are too important to me. read more

I was super excited to find out that she breeds French Bulldogs, I have been looking everywhere for a frenchie in my location and haven't been successful. Deenie told me her daughter was breeding them. I even went and met the mom and dad. She told me the cost and explained why and I told her money wasn't an issue and how excited I was. Every time I try and contact her she's always having her employees say she is busy. It's very unprofessional and pathetic that they treat customers and dogs the way that they do. Although my dog had a nice haircut here, I will not be taking her back. My husband was 10 minutes late picking her up (after calling to tell them he would be a bit late) and the young woman working would not let him in to get our dog. She claimed to not have a key on her or ANY numbers for anyone else who worked there. She said she could NOT let us take our dog home that evening. Instead, our dog had to stay overnight. She was fed whatever they decided to feed her (maybe? No one asked us if she was on a special diet) and left overnight without anyone there from 6 PM to 6:30 AM the next morning when my husband came back to pick her up. At this point, we were charged for an overnight stay. Lovely. When I called to speak to Deenie, she told me she was sorry but basically didn't try in any way to make things better, but instead made excuses for why they had no intentions of making this better, and this is the way they run their business. I am very dissatisfied at the way my dog was treated - not like a pet or a part of my family at all. read more

adopted two pitbulls from Wishbone a year and a half ago and wanted to break the myth and socialize them at Deenies. Amanda - AMAZING! Cassie too. There were a few girls there that were just very helpful and genuinely cared. There was some pretty significant turnover in the last few months and the customer service has suffered from that. The wait is longer to get your dog and I actually witnessed a girl bringing the wrong dog to a lady! Deenie herself has been all but absent when I go in. I boarded them there while in training in Chicago and when I returned to pick them up they were FILTHY and HAGGARD. I know the difference between being exhausted from tons of play and being poorly kept for 4 days. AND when I went to take their leashes off at home my female flinched and cowered away. I have never raised a hand to her so who did?? I mentioned my concerns with Cassie who said she'd look into it and I get a phone call this morning from one of the newer girls saying she's from "the Dog Shop" and Deenie has to abide by their Insurance which does not cover Pitbulls.
