I hired Lauren to do my hair for my wedding and she and her colleague Zoey did my hair, my 5 flower girls' hair, two of my bridesmaids, my mother, my aunts and my sister-in-laws' hair all in impeccable timing and quality for the wedding. While I found that Lauren is an incredibly busy woman and sometimes hard to get a hold of (because she's so good at what she does) when it comes to crunch time, she does a beautiful job, is a delight to work with and goes above and beyond at making sure you are happy with the end result. She listened to what I wanted and worked with me until we got it right and even gave me great ideas for my bridal party. I highly recommend her and her staff. She's phenomenal.

My stylist (forgot her name) was really friendly and on point with the style I wanted. She had the courtesy to ask if I wanted extra pouf or a natural pouf at the crown of my head, which not many places ask. A lot of them just add an extra layer pouf without asking and especially for Asian hair, it looks extremely awkward. I also liked the way she did the curls..it wasn't big curls but natural looking thin curls. The makeup session was fun too but I definitely had a little trouble picking up the make-up artist's heavy Irish accent. I think there were times where I completely ignored her questions without knowing she was asking me something. Sorry about that! But overall, she did excellent make-up and it lasted throughout the night. Side note: This was a recommended salon by the staff at the Crowne Plaza. If you happen to stay at the Crowne, they offer special hair and make-up wedding packages with Mizu. We didn't get the package due to logistics so ended up paying a la carte.

I was walking around and needed a haircut so I…read morechecked in on the first place I found and they told me I could make a booking for a half hour later. The place is great. First I sat down with my hairdresser and made it clear what I wanted and she was very attentive and offered some good advice. Then I went into the side room for a wash before getting the cut. She did a really great job too and explained everything along the way and checked that it was what I wanted. While you're getting it cut you're offered a drink too (water, tea, coffee or beer). At the end I got a second wash and a blowdry. Very happy with the overall results and the pleasant staff. And the whole thing came to just €18 with a student discount, which is very cheap for a salon service in general, never mind one that is this good. In the past, I've paid nearly twice that and not ended up as satisfied.
