Though as with anywhere offering a service I expect to be made feel at ease. I was booked in for an eyebrow wax. Initially the clinic itself feels wonderful and calming, great selection of magazines to leaf through while you wait, modern and clean, above the street so feels very intimate. This is a quick procedure, I didn't expect to be kept longer than 10 minutes. In reality I was less than 5, from entering the room and being back on the street again. The blonde girl, called out my name and when I answered she started marching toward the room I was to receive my wax in, she briskly walked down the corridor without acknowledging me. She went through all the procedure of waxing, while remaining coldly polite. I felt uncomfortable, detecting a note of hostility. I told her what I specifically wanted, she didn't ask me to show her where I wanted to wax my eyebrows, or no consultation on what shape I desired. I was confused, and had barely time to adjust to my unfamiliar surroundings when she was done, she pushed the mirror into my hands and when I okayed it, she was at the desk by the time I'd gathered my bag and coat and paid my €10. On inspection at home, she hadn't fully waxed my brows in the places I had pointed out. I was made to feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. I would not go back, nor recommend it to anyone.
