Though as with anywhere offering a service I expect to be made feel at ease. I was booked in for an eyebrow wax. Initially the clinic itself feels wonderful and calming, great selection of magazines to leaf through while you wait, modern and clean, above the street so feels very intimate. This is a quick procedure, I didn't expect to be kept longer than 10 minutes. In reality I was less than 5, from entering the room and being back on the street again. The blonde girl, called out my name and when I answered she started marching toward the room I was to receive my wax in, she briskly walked down the corridor without acknowledging me. She went through all the procedure of waxing, while remaining coldly polite. I felt uncomfortable, detecting a note of hostility. I told her what I specifically wanted, she didn't ask me to show her where I wanted to wax my eyebrows, or no consultation on what shape I desired. I was confused, and had barely time to adjust to my unfamiliar surroundings when she was done, she pushed the mirror into my hands and when I okayed it, she was at the desk by the time I'd gathered my bag and coat and paid my €10. On inspection at home, she hadn't fully waxed my brows in the places I had pointed out. I was made to feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. I would not go back, nor recommend it to anyone.

I'd read another review that mentioned it was hard to get dressed while wet, so even though it was a pain, it wasn't a surprise. However, when I asked for the loo, I was shown to a changing room that had spacious showers, lockers, robes and flip flops. Had we gone there first, the experience would have been so much nicer!

Voya seaweed baths are more up scare. The reception is full of their products and a lovely waiting area with tea and drink facilities. The seaweed bath rooms are lovely with the ole school bath filled with the heavenly gooey, slimey seaweed, a shower and the built in steamer. I love the steamer experience because you get so nice and toasty and opens up all the pores before you relax into your bath. I've had Indian Head Massage on back arms neck and head this was one of the first Treatment's I got in Kenkō Health and I've had this treatment done many times with holistic practitioners, in spas many places but Kenkō Health was by far the best I went in tense stressed and overall just tight in my body Anna's Treatment was from start to finish extremely professional starting with a hot cloth on my feet which it's only small but really it's so satisfying to amazing frankincense oil which she uses in all the treatments I've had so far it calmed my body and mind straight away and her repetition of the treatment on both arms and sides of my back were to a T she didn't miss so much as one movement when I left there I felt alive refreshed so calm and my back and shoulders where so relax that tight horrible feeling had just gone. I also have had hopi ear candle treatment which I have never had before and it was a treat!!
