This is our first Seaweed Bath Spa experience.
The place is right out of a 1940's / 1950's movie. Very dated, in a old tired seaside town. Yellow and Green Tile from the 1950's. However, that added to the atmosphere and experience.
The advantage of this location and age is the prices are more competitive to the newer fancier Seaweed Baths.
That said, the staff was very helpful, and made the process very easy.
They fill the baths and set up the rooms while you are in the waiting room.
The Seaweed is fresh and authentic.
The baths are hot, the steam box steamy.
After about a hour after the baths, I must say, my skin felt great. My head was clear, and I felt refreshed and alive. The next day, my body felt great, and I had more energy than normal.
It was a great experience, that none of us would normally do. We have nothing like this in Los Angeles. If we did, or we had more opportunities in Ireland, I would definitely do a Seaweed Bath again.
In fact, I would like to get some natural fresh seaweed from the Pacific and take a bath at home.
Parking was limited, I ended up parking across the street on the sidewalk, where other cars were also parked. We arrived late in the day, and it was raining, which added to the unique experience. read more
