For a small town salon, Mizu is surprisingly huge and also has a full spa service. We came here for hair and makeup for our friend's wedding and they were super quick with everything. My stylist (forgot her name) was really friendly and on point with the style I wanted. She had the courtesy to ask if I wanted extra pouf or a natural pouf at the crown of my head, which not many places ask. A lot of them just add an extra layer pouf without asking and especially for Asian hair, it looks extremely awkward. I also liked the way she did the curls..it wasn't big curls but natural looking thin curls. The makeup session was fun too but I definitely had a little trouble picking up the make-up artist's heavy Irish accent. I think there were times where I completely ignored her questions without knowing she was asking me something. Sorry about that! But overall, she did excellent make-up and it lasted throughout the night. Side note: This was a recommended salon by the staff at the Crowne Plaza. If you happen to stay at the Crowne, they offer special hair and make-up wedding packages with Mizu. We didn't get the package due to logistics so ended up paying a la carte. read more

Its a very nice salon,very good and kind employes.I was walking past the shop after getting my hair done(It was done beautifully) and got a heavy nose bleed,they noticed my sitting in a corner,they came over to my with wet towels a roll of tisues.They asked me if i lived around here,i said i lived far away.So they drove my home . *Yery good service,they gave me a good hair cut,kind employes.I owe them one. read more

didnt like the pressure to buy buy buy products and i could tell the stylists were under pressure to get customers out as quick as possible. Money grabbing salon The staff were young and inexperienced and there was even a senior stylist watching the staff to hurry them up. Very expensive Not nice experience. read more

The stylists are good and the blow dry is always nice. I went in here a few times over the course of a year and spent a lot of money as it is pricey. I would always panic at the till because it was always a different price everytime depending on the stylist but it wasn't discussed beforehand and sometimes when you needed a quick appointment you could get anyone so it was always a worry at the till. The owner never once acknowledged me anytime I went in. A simple smile and hello never anything. In the end I just didn't feel they wanted me there I could be wrong but I felt that they wanted a certain type of client and I wasn't it. read more
