The Bar Method of Fairfield is a fantastic place to work out! All of The Bar Method instructors go through a thorough training process where they learn proper technique, which I loved having a gymnastics and dance background. All of the Fairfield instructors are not only well educated in the Bar Method, but are so friendly and encouraging. They are very aware of how much they can push you and on those days you are 'just trying to get through it', they totally get it! Now, I am pregnant and it brings a whole new level to my work out... Co-owners and instructors Caitlin and Bridget, have been so understanding to my new speed and needs of my workout. I have been going to The Bar Method Fairfield since they opened in January and I can honestly say I am hooked. I never had a workout that kicked my butt and also relaxed me at the same time. In just a few weeks I was able to see the difference in my body and it has kept me coming back for more. I actually look forward to going to class which has never really been my outlook on working out. What I love most about Bar Method is the way it tones your muscles without killing yourself with heavy weights and boring reps. And although it's not a heavy cardio class it definitely gets your heart racing. Every class the amazing instructors have new moves that help tone every inch of your body (including muscles you never even knew existed). And while you are definitely sore the next day (and many times just walking out of class) it is not a painful sore because you deeply stretch all he muscles you worked after each exercise. The instructors are all amazing and very knowledgable and keep you motivated even when your legs are shaking and you don't think there is any way you can keep going. Bar method is more than a fabulous workout, it has become a way of life. With a background in dance, and years in the fitness industry...I spent a number of years trying out gyms, and going to various classes here and there....and nothing drove me to want to go back with any consistency. I tried BMF on the advice of a friend who thought I would love it, and boy was she spot on. The teachers are inspirational, motivating, knowledgable and each one brings something different to the table, or should I say bar!! The unique family environment that this team has created from the teachers to the front desk staff, to the clients, is very special. Beautiful studio for a fabulous workout. I have been attending classes since the studio opened and the workout has just gotten better and better. The focus of instruction is on correct form to avoid injury. Correct form also leads to a more challenging workout. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff happily answers questions and explains policies. Each teacher has her own style which brings variety to the studio too. Megan C., one of the instructors, started teaching Bar Method in NJ and knew she had to find a studio when she moved to CT so she could keep teaching. So glad she did. Megan gives precise cueing during instruction. She finds the perfect balance in her coaching- motivates you to push your limits while complimenting your hard work. The sense of community that the owners have created at Bar Method Fairfield is truly something special. This is the FIRST form of exercise that I look forward to each time I go to class. A welcoming, friendly, and spa-like environment! From the beautiful paint colors to the candles around the studio, I am always transported to a state of focus and self-reflection. Bar is a place to focus on becoming the best version of me! What I love most is that the workout is always challenging--it never gets easier, which pushes you to always do your best. I have tried so many workout routines and Bar is the only exercise that I have kept up consistently for the last two years. I look forward to class each day! The instructors are so supportive and their expertise and care are unparalleled. I adore them all! In particular, Christina has been one of my most favorite teachers. Bar Method Fairfield is not only a place you go to get your body in its best shape ( although that definitely happens) it's also a place to make friends unlike any others. I joined Bar Method almost two years ago trying to find a workout I could stick to without getting bored. Well, there is nothing boring about classes that consistently push you to work harder! Bar Method has also brought some amazing people in my life and I find that I work out more because of the wonderful support system that is at the studio each day. Bar Method takes pride in its facilities and has the best staff around. Although Cat is "newer" to instructing Bar classes her Physical Therapy background makes her lead some of the toughest classes I've taken. The Bar Method Fairfield is a well-appointed and beautifully maintained studio. The staff is warm, helpful and inclusive. I'm extremely impressed with the instructors that manage to give you personalized attention no matter the class size. They are professional and exceptionally motivating. The workout is the most efficient hour you can spend. It is full body interval training and intense isometric exercises, coupled with deep stretching - all perfectly choreographed to great playlists. It never gets easier but if you dedicate yourself you will see changes (increased strength and flexibility, toned muscles)! I really love the Bar Method Fairfield! The studio is beautiful, and the instructors and staff are so nice and knowledgeable. I have been attending classes for 6 months now, and the workouts are amazing and very challenging, and you always feel so proud of yourself when you are done and that you've accomplished so much. I am as brand new as it gets. However, the instructors are inspiring, friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone is so nice and encourages you every step of the way. Bridget, Cailtin and the entire staff are so unbelievable talented and have a fantastic command of the class. I am also amazed how each instructor knows everyone's name and they make a point of this! The search is over! Finally a workout routine that is gentle on a woman's body but also provides the results we're looking for. I've been attending classes at this beautiful studio since they opened their pretty glass doors. Over 425 classes later, I'm still challenged at every class. I am inspired by the strength and determination of my fellow classmates. It's amazing how much you can do for your entire body in 60 minutes. We shake, we burn, we sweat but best of all, we laugh! This is my favorite exercise! I have been going to Bar Method Fairfield since September 2015 after trying just about every other barre studio in this area. This one is my favorite!! The instructors are wonderful. They know everyone's name and they make sure that you are in the right position so that you get the most effective results from the exercise. The studio is beautiful too! They have lots of different class times, so I try to go as often as I can. I have back issues and have noticed that I feel remarkably better after my class.
