If I could give more stars I would. I came to Jenny for private sessions for weight management, but we quickly discovered issues in my lower back that were causing issues connected to other minor physical pains I'd been enduring for years. Jenny has helped strengthen my core and my whole body in a way that I'm now doing exercises I thought I'd never be strong enough to do. I'd just accepted I'd never be able to plank because of my back. But with Jenny, I'm strong enough to do exercises like planks and do them the RIGHT way. The exercises are challenging and fun. Since the pandemic I have not been able to go to a studio and take classes. Jenny's Zoom pilates classes are fabulous! As a classically trained ballet dancer she knows exactly how to give you a safe and challenging workout. She gives out modifications so that she is able to accommodate everyone's needs. As the class is 'live' it is the next best thing to an in-studio experience. She explains everything thoroughly and is so upbeat, the time flies by, especially with her well chosen playlist. Jenny is incredible at making adjustments to exercises based on your abilities or injuries, and sometimes knows what you need to work on just from the way you walk in the door. Since the pandemic, I've taken Jenny's sculpt classes every Friday on zoom for months now. First of all, Jenny is the sweetest, most encouraging beast of an instructor that ever existed. However, don't let that fool you when it comes to her classes; that sweet demeanor is all a facade for the torture she doles out during each and every class. She works every single muscle to beyond exhaustion, and somehow makes it look effortless on her end. She changes it up every week so it's never predictable and you never get bored, and goes the full hour, sometimes even longer unfortunately lol. I usually have to mentally prepare myself for this class at least a day ahead of time, and give my muscles a nice pep talk before it all starts. All I can say is, I'm so glad we're muted during these zoom classes, because the ugly grunts and groans I make during each class would be distracting and downright embarrassing, and just overall not a good look for me. At the end of each class, my dogs come and check on me to see if I'm still alive and revive me if needed. So why do I take these classes?? Cause I'm a masochist who despite complaining all the time, absolutely loves how I feel after taking them. Jenny is such a beautiful spirit, and even though I may cuss her out in my head a lot, I love her and just can't quit her; she's made this pandemic that much more bearable in her own twisted way. This is the best workout for only 10 bucks, and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves to get their ass beat! read more

Her pilates and sculpt classes are challenging but still easy to follow and require minimal equipment. A bit about me, I'm 35 and have always been an indoor kid. I always hated anything that involved moving my body. But I've been pilating with Jenny consistently for six years now. In my entire life, working with Jenny is the only fitness-related activity I've ever been able to stick with. Jenny is kind and intelligent, and she never lets me get bored. After six years, she'll still frequently bust out moves I've never seen before. Jenny's patience is boundless. She's told me a hundred times to square my hips more, but never once has there been a note of irritation in her voice. Stop to think about that for a second. Imagine there's someone at your work who's always jamming the copier. You told them once "hey, here's the correct way to use the copier," and you said it super nicely, with maximum positivity. Then they keep jamming the copier. They keep jamming the copier for six fucking years. Eventually you'd be like "dude, I've told you a hundred goddamn times how to use the goddamn copier, are you doing this deliberately to piss me off or are you just that stupid?" Not Jenny. She's never let her voice betray a hint of judgement or even modest disapproval. Every correction she gives is offered in the spirit of positivity and with a seemingly genuine belief that I have the capacity to improve, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Critically, and this may just be important for me, Jenny has an excellent sense of humor and is willing to laugh when I tell her what a vicious, unreasonable monster she is for making me high plank for the third time in a row. Again, I don't know that issuing verbal abuse is an important part of your workout regimen, but it's apparently part of what keeps me going and Jenny's a remarkably good sport about it. Like I said, this is the only fitness-related activity I've ever been able to stick with. My core is stronger, I'm more flexible, and I'm generally healthier than I was in my twenties. That's because of Jenny. Her physical expertise combined with her sparkling personality is unique among any trainer I've ever met.
