I purchased the $49 seven-day consecutive-day pass, but after my first class I honestly didn't feel motivated to return. I also called another location hoping to use the remaining days there, but was told the seven days have to be used consecutively starting immediately after purchase. That's a pretty restrictive policy for people with busy schedules. Cute facility, but unfortunately the classes and trial policy weren't worth it for me

I did the beginner class with my instructor Julia at 8 a.m. Even though I was five minutes late, my machine was ready the moment I walked in. The whole setup feels like Pilates' athletic, overachieving cousin. It is full body, resistance based, slow burn, shake til you earn it type movement. You will be sweating, you will be shaking, and you will walk out feeling like you unlocked a new level of your body. And Julia? Baby, Julia is that instructor. She is kind, funny, extremely engaged, and she encourages you in a way that feels strong and supportive without ever being pushy. Her cues make you feel safe, aligned, and actually capable of doing things you would normally tap out on. Her energy is warm and focused, and she somehow manages to coach the whole class while still making every person feel seen. If you want a workout that sculpts you like Serena Williams and leaves you feeling strong, tall, and proud, book Julia. This is the place to get it done. I already cannot wait to go back. Notion Lagree Studio has officially become my new favorite way to tighten, tone, and test my spirit. Your future body will thank you.

Barre3 is the most inclusive and welcoming workout space I've found in KC!…read more I was nervous to try Barre3 because I don't have a dance background or much flexibility, but after taking a few classes through ClassPass, I ended up signing up for a membership. The workouts are genuinely fun while still being challenging. Over the last three months, I've taken Strength, Signature, and Mindful Flow classes, and every instructor has done an excellent job programming workouts, offering modifications to make movements either more accessible or more challenging, and giving helpful form cues throughout class. I also appreciate that the class routines change monthly. It gives you enough time to become familiar with the movements, build confidence, and progressively increase weights before transitioning into something new. The studio itself is extremely clean, and they provide everything you need, including mats, weights, blocks, and bands. I especially appreciate that it's not a heated studio and that instructors are intentional about the room environment by adjusting fans, temperature, and lighting so classes stay comfortable and focused. Another thing I've appreciated is how responsive the studio has been to member demand and that they genuinely care about their members. In the few months I've been attending, they've continued adding class times and formats, including convenient 5:45 AM and 5:45 PM options that fit well into a work schedule.

They offer a student discount which is also a nice benefit! I've been consistently taking barre3 classes for about 6 months and I know I have gotten stronger. It's rare to have a strength class that is focused on lifting weights where the whole class is in sync with the instructor. I also love the signature classes which are more traditional barre. Other barre studios rely on traditional ballet position names, but barre3 is much more accessible in my opinion. The instructors are all wonderful, but I especially love taking classes with Meghan! The studio provides all of the equipment you need, including sweat towels and mats. In a world where the heated studio is taking over, it's nice to have a traditional studio format. The main reason I attend this studio is because they offer a 5:45 am class four days a week. The only thing I would change is that it would be nice to have a mindful flow (yoga focused) class offered later on a week day. Your first class is free, so you have nothing to lose by checking it out!!

I took my first class with YogaSix after a friend shared that you can try a class for free. I'm so glad she recommended it to me! It was easy to schedule which class I wanted to take, and they sent me a reminder text of when the class was happening.the name comes from a code of 6 classes they offer- 101, hot yoga, slow flow, power, restore and sculpt and flow. They vary in rigor and pace. It's always a little nerve wracking to be the new gal in the studio, but I felt comfortable and welcomed. The studio had plenty of space for the slow flow class. The room is warm and the lights are darkened . At the beginning the instructor sprayed a lovely scent that she also used at the end of the class, going around fanning each of us as we laid on our mats. They also provided cold towels at the end of the class which was a nice touch because I was sweaty even though it was a slow flow class! If you're looking for a barre studio, or you've done yoga/pilates and you're looking for a fun but serious workout studio, this studio should definitely be on your list. Instructors I would recommend to be sure you have a great experience are Lauren, Morgan, and Erin. From the first day I came, they knew my name and gave personalized feedback on how to do better. That said, I rated a bit lower than I normally would because there have been a few very negative experiences here that made me not want to go back. It was mainly just being unnecessarily rude? Which is out of character because the primary things I love about my favorite instructors here is how attentive, encouraging, and detail-oriented they are. If you want examples of the negative experiences I've had, I won't be exhaustive but one example is when I brought a friend to class. Whoever was manning the front desk completely ignored us, and when I asked which room class was in that day, she corrected me on which instructor's class it was without answering the question. My friend felt really unwelcome and I felt terrible that it was her first experience with barre.

It was a hot yoga class, and I was sweating a lot, but I left feeling refreshed, relieved, and really glad I came. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be looking into taking more classes here. The instructor was great and brought really good energy to the class. There were a few moments where the pace felt a little fast, though, and combined with the studio layout, it made things slightly challenging at times. The pillars in the room can block your view, so there were moments where I couldn't clearly see what she was demonstrating and felt a bit flustered trying to keep up. I can see how that might be frustrating, especially for someone newer to yoga. That said, it didn't take away from the overall experience. It was still a really strong class, and I enjoyed myself. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a good sweat and a solid workout.

Also, the locker rooms for this gym are upstairs from the studio, and they're incredible.
