From your toes to your knees, fingers to elbows, and top of your head to your shoulders. The ambience is that of a nice spa, the only difference is instead of private rooms, you're separated by curtains, but it's quiet and relaxing, soothing music and low lighting, you aren't distracted or even notice others are getting services too. The chair reclines all the way back, I thought I was upside down for a minute. I was this close to falling asleep from how relaxed I was. Bella worked magic on every part she worked. There's a bit of language barrier and not much communication before getting started, but she was skilled enough to find the problem areas and work them out. She asked multiple times about the pressure and made adjustments, concentrating on areas I pointed out. The main issue I experienced was the constant interruptions. When the phone rang or another customer walked in, she would leave to answer without saying anything. She also stepped out for a few minutes to discuss something with her coworker. There were probably 5-6 separate incidents so it completely disrupted the flow, yet the massage still finished on the hour. I paid in cash to avoid the credit card charge, but it was awkward. I had to ask for change back and instead of just giving me the correct amount, she asked how much - as in, what's the tip?

I had been up all night with a stiff neck and shoulders, and booked this place for a massage the next day. I was excited to find something last minute, and my wife had been before and had a good experience, so I was optimistic. The check in process was smooth-fill out a brief form then was taken back to a quiet room to prepare for the massage. The lighting was low and there was nice music playing-everything looked to be pretty good. My massage therapist reviewed my chart and I explained where I'd like her to focus. Typically, a massage will start out slow and relaxing, then build up to working tough areas. In this case, her movements were fast, abrupt and overly repetitive in the same area. It became comical how she was passing over the same spot so many times-I began to count to distract myself. She got up to 41 passes along the same concentrated area of my back (not even where I had asked her to focus) before she moved somewhere else. It was kind of like when my well-meaning 17 year old gives me a foot rub and stays in the same spot the whole time while daydreaming off in the distance. Today I have bruises in those spots where she went too hard for too long. (And again, barely touched my neck or shoulders.) Obviously, other people have had great experiences here-so maybe I had an "off" night or perhaps my expectations were misaligned. But since I've had wonderful massages elsewhere, I'll just schedule those places instead.

This most recent visit I went and had an exceptional time with masseuse Mondae hopefully I'm spelling her name right too.
