Like the old saying goes "it takes a lot of Balls to play like me" Really, a lot. I carry maybe 20-30 and sometimes have to borrow some from whomever I'm playing with. This course is so nice and the grass in immaculate and green and strong and the greens are always in perfect condition. The other big thing is that PVIGC has the very first island green ever. Anywhere. I do like the ocean course a little better but the island course is still very taxing for us amateurs.

It could turn a 380 yard par 4 in to a hard par 5! The front desk and bag people were very friendly. My only complaint came from one of their Marshall's, Skip. We waited on almost every hole for the front nine, the group in front was encouraged to play faster and they did. We played along the back nine at a good pace, never slowing the group behind us down at all...ever. So the Marshall approached us on the 18th tee and told us we were slow and we needed to speed up. Really? On the 18th tee? He could have been kind but he chose to be more a harsh jerk. Goes to show that one person can change the impression of a business.

Despite just practicing, Brian took the time out to explain the numbers and even went into detail about my swing and the numbers it was producing. His explanations and "feels" he was providing me sealed the deal moving forward. After that initial session, he offered me a membership, which hands down was the best thing I have ever done for my golf game. Two weeks later, I signed up for a lesson package with Brian. He uses the data from the TrackMan and his immense knowledge of the golf swing to help me play the best golf of my life. He talks golf with you, provides examples, provides feels, and great take home points all of which is always the followed by the TrackMan report. I recommend this establishment and Brian to anyone looking to gain knowledge of the game, knowledge of the swing, and most of all if you want to have fun practicing!!!

The gate keepers are very…read morethorough so make sure you've been called in prior to coming if you're visiting someone or you may be waiting at the gate awhile. Right when you drive in, you see the beauty of the greens and the golfers enjoying their day. The roads are easily marked with signs and the gate keeper is very helpful giving directions once you're cleared to go inside. There are tons of big houses and very friendly people. Watch your speed as there is a policeman who patrols the area. Other than that, it is a super safe community where kids can actually play outside without having to worry about them too much.

Maintenance crews were busy but respectful of us as we played through. Outside staff was on it and made sure we were ready to go when our time came. Had such a fun time playing the Dye's Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass with friends! It was definitely…read morea challenging course, and between the tricky rough and extremely windy conditions, it kept us on our toes. I even lost two balls in the rough, which has me seriously considering switching to hot pink golf balls! The greens were a bit slower than I expected, probably pending a cut the following day but overall, it was such a fun round. The service was also a highlight. The cart girl was incredibly kind and provided great service, and when the water ran out at the refreshment stand, the attendant was kind enough to give us water from the cooler. Those little touches really make a difference. My only small suggestion would be to have a few golf tees available at each station for the driving range. The only tees provided were in the cart, so walking all the way back to grab them out of my bag was a minor inconvenience but opportunity for nice added touch for customer care. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend playing Dye's Valley!

For lunch, I ordered a wedge salad and brisket quesadilla. The salad was fresh, and the dressing and toppings were good. The brisket quesadilla was delicious! The meat was tasty. It was perfect! For dinner, I ordered char-grilled salmon. It was served with little white potatoes and artichokes with a light cream sauce. This dish was fabulous. I was impressed with the food and the service was great! If you have any meeting needs, I suggest the Atlantic Beach Country Club.
