We get Friday tickets every year. This was the worst traffic experience getting there in the…read moremorning down A1A. No traffic management happening at any of the lights so the right lane was not moving as people budged in from the left and from the right at every light. Almost 2 hrs from Beach Blvd to the parking area. We missed so much golf! Do better next year!!! Also the crowds were pretty crazy once we finally got in.

Like the old saying goes "it takes a lot of Balls to play like me" Really, a lot. I carry maybe 20-30 and sometimes have to borrow some from whomever I'm playing with. This course is so nice and the grass in immaculate and green and strong and the greens are always in perfect condition. The other big thing is that PVIGC has the very first island green ever. Anywhere. I do like the ocean course a little better but the island course is still very taxing for us amateurs.

It could turn a 380 yard par 4 in to a hard par 5! The front desk and bag people were very friendly. My only complaint came from one of their Marshall's, Skip. We waited on almost every hole for the front nine, the group in front was encouraged to play faster and they did. We played along the back nine at a good pace, never slowing the group behind us down at all...ever. So the Marshall approached us on the 18th tee and told us we were slow and we needed to speed up. Really? On the 18th tee? He could have been kind but he chose to be more a harsh jerk. Goes to show that one person can change the impression of a business.

The course is beautiful and the challenge is great. However, I've been back to back days now this…read moreweek and have been forced off of the last hole both times. They claim it's the sprinkler systems but I know that's not the case because yesterday we were forced to return cart and no sprinklers were running on the last holes. Today our cart screen said 5 minutes ahead of schedule yet we still were forced to not tee off of the last hole (to add we were the last group too). The day prior our screen said 14 minutes behind schedule and we were forced to turn in our carts yet again at the same place (with a 10 minute later tee time). No discounts or money back at either along with no exceptions. Place is great but they need to either accommodate for the later tee times in order to let people finish or if they "must leave because of sprinklers/ being closed" give some sort of discount. Have never been to a place you pay to play 9 holes and back to back days have been forced to return the cart prior to finishing. Especially when the cart screen says we are ahead of pace..

I had a salad ; we also had quesadilla; and watched the jag game such an awesome experience pool is huge for kids! Only thing kids were running a muck teens jumping off water columns only negative but you do have an adult pool I just love the architecture of big pool ...it's gorgeous! Loved the experience!

Pool: gets full of kids, but hey, we love that! Food: pretty good. Fairly standard. But good courteous service. Can eat outside facing the ocean which is nice. Don't particularly like everyone coming up the stairs from the beach checking out my meal, but there are other tables! Valet service if you can't make the 40 yard walk from the parking area. Plenty of curbside golf cart parking RIGHT next to the beach entrance. FYI: This place is private, requires a code to get in (gates to cars and to the club). Overall I love it and it will be sad when we're not renting here and I can only longingly look from the road as I drive by.

Good thing we were out for fun and it was a pretty day! No offer of any discounts for any inconveniences Regardless, we enjoyed the time with friends and just let anxious golfers play through!

Went to go visit a friend who lives here and it is a gated community. The gate keepers are very…read morethorough so make sure you've been called in prior to coming if you're visiting someone or you may be waiting at the gate awhile. Right when you drive in, you see the beauty of the greens and the golfers enjoying their day. The roads are easily marked with signs and the gate keeper is very helpful giving directions once you're cleared to go inside. There are tons of big houses and very friendly people. Watch your speed as there is a policeman who patrols the area. Other than that, it is a super safe community where kids can actually play outside without having to worry about them too much.
