Loved everything about this new speakeasy! I had been so excited to check it out, that we raced there at 5 pm to make sure we got in (you can make reservations ahead of time!). Our server was incredibly friendly and told us all about the history of the building. The music was great and still able to have a conversation. A very vibey spot, great for a date night or drinks before or after dinner with the girls! Will absolutely be back!

Really cool spot! Great atmosphere, good drinks, and the place has a unique vibe. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Definitely a nice hidden spot in Milwaukee. I'll be back for sure!

Plus, a 1:30 pm brunch reservation is definitely my kind of brunch. The atmosphere inside is awesome, with old school TVs with built in VCRs lining the walls. Our server was very attentive and super helpful in showing us the new menu. He even promised satisfaction with our Hawaiian roll cinnamon bun or he would get us something different, which was so nice of him! We came specifically to try the Dad's 2 cents Weekend Brunch. That is right, 2 cents! What a deal for a can of Spotted Cow. Just a heads up for anyone going, don't forget that you have to buy an entree to qualify for the beer special! As for the rest of our order, my wife got the Salted Caramel shake. She said it was a little too sweet with loads of whip cream, but she really liked the Hawaiian roll cinnamon buns. We split the Fried Chicken & Old Fashioned Gravy Buns. It was good, not amazing, but the vibes and the drink specials totally make up for it. Someone else in our family got the brunch burger and it looked amazing! Bottom line: come for the atmosphere and drink specials, not necessarily the food, but we still enjoyed it lots. Next time I am definitely going to try a smasher, maybe on a 99 cents Wednesday smashburger special!

We had made reservations so I'm not sure if one can just simply walk up and hit the button to get in for a table. The speakeasy itself is intimate, with dimmed lighting and limited seating. The table we were at was quite small so wouldn't accommodate much more than our drinks, the candle and perhaps if you wanted to reach over for your date's hand. The drink menu isn't your basic drink menu so be prepared for creative concoctions, with ingredients and spirits blended to perfection and served up in a beautiful glass. Our server was friendly and our drinks came quickly. Prices are a little above average but you're paying for the experience as well as the quality of the drink you're not getting everywhere else. The experience was memorable and a place I'd be happy to return to again for a lovely evening.

We ordered a couple cocktails and they were interesting, but not the best I've ever had. They felt like they'd been created to focus on being unique, rather than on winning flavor combinations. Sadly, our server was also distracted and kind of awkward, chasing us out into the courtyard to secure a credit card as if we were going to drink and ditch. His manner did not add to the overall experience. I've been meaning to try this place forever and now I can cross it off my list and move onward to better drinks and service

The menu was 20/10, lots of options to choose from even with a large party and customized smaller menu you would find in a normal sit down restaurant. Staff was not prepared at all, actually telling people the guy who usually does speech did not come and they do not know what to say actually. For any alcohol you will buy you will pay in addition which is fine BUT the price for that drink(s) will be surprising you a lot. For 5 sake drinks the bill was around $370. Last two glasses were having less sake than first glasses we were provided, probably because people who already drunk something would not notice the difference. It's ok to have expensive alcohol pairing with high end dinner but in this case the sake was very regular. By the way, at bar 10 steps away from the Dark room (same hotel, same floor, same the floor area) the same sake did cost $23 for two glasses. Well... I understand people try to run business and earn money but everything should not cross some decency borders. These guys did cross the line in my opinion. Alcohol prices are not mentioned in Menu by the way. I do not recommend this place not only due to drinks pricing policy but due to "ok" food/service/price ratio
